Yeah I understand. But please know that the 400 watts an hour is a very very tiny stream compared to the solar panels. When you want to put your money somewhere, put it in solar. We added the Orion to have a sort of double redundancy (we also have a generator and shore hook-up). This way we know we will always be OK. 👍❤️

I want to bring your attention on one roof top of container. Container roof is very fragile. We need to give support. If people are making fix home on property, they must put six iron rod from inside supporting roof. Consult Engineer. Iron rod must go inside earth to support container for protection during cyclonic wind. Another method is. Make x with iron rod,give support of additional + ,so X abd +will give octagonal support to roof top. Secure roof top. Use roof top for harvesting rain water. Use same plumbing system but with use stop system, if you don't want water tank to fill, Same system for drainage. Divert water outside on road during rain fall. Bring connection to shower and kitchen sink. I will suggest to collect rainwater for extra cleaning. Give v shape extra support form two sides for collection of more amount of water. Use electricity trunk frame, use coupling, use tarpaulin inside frame. You are creative show to other people. How to harvest rain water from roof top. Purchase folding water tank and folding bucket. 💯 mark. Jay bharat.

Check out my video on that topic. And to add to your story. When using containers in hot climates. Make sure you create an additional umbrella roof. This to keep the sun away from the container walls and roof.
Yeah fellas after 2 days we finally finished our Van setup, and also without sun we are dying with starving because we have no any other choise in addition if there are sun like a damn god miracle we can cook 2 egg thank god.

It looks a bit cramped, and why park on the edge. Suppose it starts to give way because of weight. I guess some people just like living on the edge. I'll pass. There's no wow moments here. Plus, it was too much work setting it up.

It is very energy efficient, but not so in regards to water. It uses a heat-pump to re-use the heat, but in doing so it TAKES quite a bit of water. That was not expected....
Question for you: Are you able to remove the shipping container full built and drop it. An example if truck needs some long term repairs drop it for a week or 2 somewhere while waiting on repairs?
Yeah, we are obliged by law (road tax) to have it as cargo. All can be manually untied (when you know what to do). So yeah, we can put it on a piece of land or on another truck. That was the idea from the start. Hope you like it!? Thanks for the question! 👍❤️
👍 Yeah, showers.... We have 2 outside shower connections (on the back and the side, hot and cold water). We also have an inside "solution". It works, but it could be better. We aim to do a video on the topic. Our basic thought was; most camper people do not use their inside shower. Ask them, they will tell you. But, for example, since we are very active (sweat 😬) we would like to be able to shower inside. Hope this helps? ❤️

We can't realize same dreams, we can realize only small drreams: From 700-800 eur / month are too less for same big dreams ;) Now is have a bigger economy problem, more firms are stand or slow, less opened jobs and whatever... I think, in the next 20-30 years not possible to bigger dreams in Hungary.
My heart goes out to you. ❤️ I understand dreaming is easier with money. But perhaps you can find a way that is not so expensive. In any way, I wish you much luck! 💰👍❤️👊
Impressive, brilliant... but the set up was far too fussy for me. I got exhausted just watching them. At my age now I'm more of a plug and pay kinda person. But the inside of the container was nice. However, containers with the outside metal walls cause condensation between the layers = mould eventually. So, despite the fact that it may look cool, I would have panelled the outside with some wooden material. They're design looked too expensive to have to deal with that problem. Also isn't it difficult to pick up WiFi through metal despite the mega outside system they raised; unless they stuck their router on an open door or in the kitchen window. Sorry, I'm not a container person. All the structure is in the 4 corners thus any cutouts damage its integrity. Though they were really smart replacing the largest hole with a solid, what looked to be heavier door and having only very small & few windows. Also using the container doors as the main exist and entry point after setup very wise. So many cut huge french doors or sliders into the sides of the container. In the end they looked very happy in their choice and that is what really matters. I do envy them in all the fun travelling they will be doing.

Yes it does, through a Victron Orion, we get about 400 watts per hour from that.

It looks a bit cramped, and why park on the edge. Suppose it starts to give way because of weight. I guess some people just like living on the edge. I'll pass. There's no wow moments here. Plus, it was too much work setting it up.

Happy to have a washer. About the dryer I might do it different next time. It is very energy efficient, but not so in regards to water. It uses a heat-pump to re-use the heat, but in doing so it TAKES quite a bit of water. That was not expected....

Question for you: Are you able to remove the shipping container full built and drop it. An example if truck needs some long term repairs drop it for a week or 2 somewhere while waiting on repairs?
Yeah, we are obliged by law (road tax) to have it as cargo. All can be manually untied (when you know what to do).
So yeah, we can put it on a piece of land or on another truck.
That was the idea from the start. Hope you like it!?

👍 Yeah, showers.... We have 2 outside shower connections (on the back and the side, hot and cold water). We also have an inside "solution". It works, but it could be better. We aim to do a video on the topic.
Our basic thought was; most camper people do not use their inside shower. Ask them, they will tell you. But, for example, since we are very active (sweat 😬) we would like to be able to shower inside.

Now is have a bigger economy problem, more firms are stand or slow, less opened jobs and whatever... I think, in the next 20-30 years not possible to bigger dreams in Hungary.
My heart goes out to you. ❤️ I understand dreaming is easier with money. But perhaps you can find a way that is not so expensive.

Impressive, brilliant... but the set up was far too fussy for me. I got exhausted just watching them. At my age now I'm more of a plug and pay kinda person. But the inside of the container was nice.
However, containers with the outside metal walls cause condensation between the layers = mould eventually. So, despite the fact that it may look cool, I would have panelled the outside with some wooden material. They're design looked too expensive to have to deal with that problem.
Also isn't it difficult to pick up WiFi through metal despite the mega outside system they raised; unless they stuck their router on an open door or in the kitchen window.
Sorry, I'm not a container person. All the structure is in the 4 corners thus any cutouts damage its integrity. Though they were really smart replacing the largest hole with a solid, what looked to be heavier door and having only very small & few windows. Also using the container doors as the main exist and entry point after setup very wise. So many cut huge french doors or sliders into the sides of the container.
In the end they looked very happy in their choice and that is what really matters. I do envy them in all the fun travelling they will be doing.
