Not on the list but one I love aswell is the final part from Tool's The Pot, that "you have been out of your miiiiiiiind". Always chills the hell out of my backbone, everytime.
Not only do you have an amazing voice but you come out with some witty lines. My favourite in this one was your listening to Rob Halford and saying 'it makes me wanna just put on leather!' Love it!
I've always felt like A Perfect Circle was always underrated to an extent and overshadowed by Tool. Love me some, A Perfect Circle, Pet was always one of my favorites by them. 🤘
I love and know every single apc song. If I had to choose a favorite I don't think I could Orestes, Magedelena, Talk Talk, Let's have a War these are just some that I normally listen to first. Apc and Tool both drown out his other band Puscifer though. If for some reason you decide to go listen to Puscifer I would start with Momma Sed, Humbling River, Mission, or Vagina Mine and only because some of the others may make you feel "ify" about Puscifer.
I loved this comment I saw regarding Maynard's projects: "Tool is for your brain A Perfect Circle is your heart Puscifer is for your genitals" Pet is an excellent song!

that's actually Serj screaming there, and it still baffles me how he could manage it given the band went half a step up in their tuning for Mezmerize/Hypnotize, also a shame it took a toll on his vocal capabilities afterwards, mainly losing a lot of the graspy nature of his singing

the difference between the reference songs and Anthony singing in the video is that some of the references are singing in front of the crowd or with a group, while he is in his room alone. singing in front of a crowd, thousands of people, and super noisy surroundings, you can easily project and add power to your voice without trying, while doing it in the room alone is super hard, especially if you are the only one generating a loud sound. Anthony can sing the reference songs easily if he is in the same situation. for example 6:30.
Anthony, I gotta tell you, as a musician and an amateur singer this series is really enjoyable! It's like talking music with a friend, absolutely lovely. And that aside, seriously, your vocal versatility and prowess sometimes scares me. 😆
@Anthony DUDE!!!You literally sounded like Chris n Chester singing together when you did that Given Up scream!!You have an awesomely unique tone to your voice n I LOVE IITT!!!
One song I’ve never seen you try, that I’d love to see you sing is Soundgarden - Beyond The Wheel. I know it’s well within your range, but it’s one I’ve always wanted to hear from you. 🤘🏼
Great job 2cd time around on Chester's Given Up...my absolute favorite song by Linkin Park always was impressed with that killer scream. You had it almost to the second.
With Cemetery Gates like you said, "the memory still remains" etc. is actually much harder, because the dude managed to get that note like 90% chest yet smooth as fucking silk, it's honestly stupidly hard to emulate because you need that thick baritone low end as well, super hard to do justice
You are a BEAST! Good in imitation on these vocals that not many people who aren't vocally talented like fans we all are. You study very well to do these vocals. Bravo man
I don't know, if Anthony has already attempted it, but if not: The opening scream of Dio in "Heaven & Hell - The Mob Rules (Official Live Video)" is pretty high and awesome.
Tim “Ripper” Owens doing vocals for “Abigail” by King Diamond for Roadrunner United is one of my all time favorite vocal performances! For sure needs more recognition.
Chester Bennington was a vocal enigma. He could go so hard into a scream and like Anthony V said it's not just a scream he's still hitting notes but then very quickly after go right back to a his regular tone and sing so damn well. When he died it hit me hard because LP was such a personal favorite growing up, I must've listened to Hybrid Theory and Minutes to Midnight 100 times each and I still love those albums.
Amazing thing about The Grudge is back on the Lateralus tour Maynard would actually nail that 25 second scream live. Also I would now add Periphery's Satellites to this list, those who know it know which part I'm talking about and I would also argue Death's cover of Painkiller is even harder to sing than the original.
I just want to say you're incredibly brave. I just did a false chord scream with my vocal teacher for the first time and I was sweating bullets. You're doing it in front of millions of people. Props!
im sure someone else has said it before but its so humbling seeing you attempt whatever line it is, and accept it whether you nail it or not. like you can have an awesome voice, but that doesnt mean you have to be able to do everything. just have fun with singing n stuff. makes be feel good about my own ability and the lack thereof too. rock on
People have always shat on Spencer but he's an amazing singer with incredible power and range and you can really feel the emotion through his delivery.

I would love to see the final scream in the song “Backbreaker” in Fit for a King which last for 25 seconds. It’s the last vocal note of the song and I get chills every time I hear it
I wanna see you do more covers of soundgarden or audioslave... you have a perfect Chris Cornell voice, and every video of yours I watch makes me think of him. RIP

I'll NEVER forget meeting my Nan's "New Friend" we were all a tad concerned until we found out how they'd met haha! (He's still a family friend to this day btw!) Late 60's Nan, early 20's Goth/Emo... ... He was coming to her house not long after my grandpa had passed, I'm sure you can see the concerns here. Anthony: Oh? Are you challenging me?
Ya thats the saddest meal list I've ever heard
@@goblin3810 i dont think anyone at loudwire knows how to sing.
He propably takes lists like this personally by now.
Correct answer is: hold my beer.
Not on the list but one I love aswell is the final part from Tool's The Pot, that "you have been out of your miiiiiiiind". Always chills the hell out of my backbone, everytime.
Chester Bennington will always be one of the best vocalist in my opinion 😊
Hell yeah
The best
Facts, scream and hitting notes at the same time, just chester was able to do that.
@@JomarsYT cheater? do you want to correct that? xD
@@PeachPlastic xD
@@1NikkinZ1 Thanks for the recommendation Nikkinz, cheers brother! 🤘
I loved this comment I saw regarding Maynard's projects:
"Tool is for your brain
A Perfect Circle is your heart
Puscifer is for your genitals"
Pet is an excellent song!
@@scottymcribofficial I have always felt, because of Maynard's sense of humour, that all his bands are references to genitals...Tool is the Penis, Puscifer is well, the vagina, and A Perfect Circle is the asshole...now he just needs a band that's a euphemism for boobs
@@thealmightyassman seems as if he is kind of an innuendo kind of man.
"Let the man have his Legacy, okay?" Rip Chester
The last scream on the song "Question" by System of a Down, preety high AND long scream, Daron sure can hit the high notes
that's actually Serj screaming there, and it still baffles me how he could manage it given the band went half a step up in their tuning for Mezmerize/Hypnotize, also a shame it took a toll on his vocal capabilities afterwards, mainly losing a lot of the graspy nature of his singing
@@mazzaaa3920 allways nice to learn about SoaD, I could swear it was Daron's voice, beautiful scream anyway
@@mazzaaa3920 actually it’s funny you mention that because “Question!” Is the only song still in Drop C on the mesmerize/hypnotize era😂 but still, that’s very high for him
I saw Judas Priest live a week ago and he still can hit those notes. It’s a shame that they had to cancel the rest of their tour.
If Anthony Vincent has a challenge, he’ll no doubt meet it
I won't turn it down, either way.
@@TenSecondSongs do To The Hellfire by Lorna Shore. You wont
@@saintbanshee4993 but he already did
@@TenSecondSongs do Demolisher by Slaughter To Prevail
Slave & Bulldozers seems like a legitimately impossible song to sing. I would love to see your take on it 🤩
When you did man in the box it felt almost jazzy on the cleaner bits. Your voice has lovely timbre.
Also that scream is amazing, how you hold it is crazy.
Judith is an amazing song, you really should do a version of it.
Would love to see you do more Maynard. His vocal style is just so unique and distinctive
If you can match King Diamond and Rob Halford voice you have my total respect and admiration.
You are one hell of an artist.
Abrazo mexicano!!!!!
🤘🏻🇲🇽🤘🏻🇲🇽🤘🏻🇲🇽🤘🏻
Just saw Priest live a week ago and he killed every single note, in Painkiller especially. He sounds better now than 3 years ago
the difference between the reference songs and Anthony singing in the video is that some of the references are singing in front of the crowd or with a group, while he is in his room alone. singing in front of a crowd, thousands of people, and super noisy surroundings, you can easily project and add power to your voice without trying, while doing it in the room alone is super hard, especially if you are the only one generating a loud sound.
About 2 or 3 years ago i suggest Judith by perfect circle and it is so satisfying to hear him attempt that part
Glad he attempted Painkiller. It blew my mind the first time I head that song, and then found out he holds that final note for 27 seconds!
I have not listened to those songs in so long. but just seeing the words Roadrunner United instantly made my brain go 🎶 IIIIN THE FIIIIRE 🎶
One of my favorite Vocolists/singers is Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria, a your challenges challenge
The Death cover is so good
Thank you for hitting the “given up” scream sounded pretty damn close then it sound like you had given up
Haha. I had nothing left to give.
I would still love to hear "Distant Blue" from Architects. At this point you might be able to nail it.
I just want to say you're incredibly brave. I just did a false chord scream with my vocal teacher for the first time and I was sweating bullets. You're doing it in front of millions of people. Props!
Please, Anthony, please, make another cover in Type 0 style! I miss it.
im sure someone else has said it before but its so humbling seeing you attempt whatever line it is, and accept it whether you nail it or not. like you can have an awesome voice, but that doesnt mean you have to be able to do everything. just have fun with singing n stuff. makes be feel good about my own ability and the lack thereof too. rock on
I'd love to see your take on Periphery - Satellites from 5:05 till 5:35 !
People have always shat on Spencer but he's an amazing singer with incredible power and range and you can really feel the emotion through his delivery.
Yes, but I was going to recommend Garden in the Bones
I think he tried this in the last "I really can't sing this" video
Judith ♥One of my favorite song too!!! I remember running to the Score Game shop to buy Guitar Hero 5 after seing the song was on the cover from an advertising in the street. I was playing this song every fucking day for years! Now I can't wait to see Tool in concert soon!!
I'm always really impressed with your voice. You sing real good. Keep up the good work.
6:53 when i get first glimpse of question paper in my exam...😂😂😂
Do Baba Yaga from Slaughter to Prevail
Thank you Anthony for honoring Norm Macdonald, I didn't even know he was sick!
Rest in peace Norm, you beautiful fat man
I would love to see the final scream in the song “Backbreaker” in Fit for a King which last for 25 seconds. It’s the last vocal note of the song and I get chills every time I hear it
I wanna see you do more covers of soundgarden or audioslave... you have a perfect Chris Cornell voice, and every video of yours I watch makes me think of him. RIP
I love how you explain what is actually difficult vocally.
Same. I’m not a singer and would like to know what makes a line/part difficult
Very entertaining video haha. Can see you’re having good fun with this. Your vocal skill has increased so much since the earlier days of 10 second songs. Great work!
I like how he sometimes gets really in to it and just starts playing with his voice and words like they're toys.
Ohhh.. Love it when you tried "given up" and nearly got there! Maybe try singing crawling or War(hunting party) !
Your work is always awesome and fun to watch, keep it going 👌
While listening to a lot of Linkin Park's music, "Given Up" is one of those songs Chester had to go through tons of takes just to nail down that long scream
Absolutely loved the song choices in this one! Kudos to Loudwire. Also, impressive vocals, as always.
Two Songs, both by The Seatbelts. Gotta Knock a Little Harder, and Don't Bother None. These two song are absolutely phenomenal.
Seriously though bro, your vocals are truly awesome. Big time impressed every time I listen to you.
My band used to cover Given Up actually! I think the fear of failure is what allowed me to get it
Great video Anthony! Your best take on the Chester scream so far!
Now do impossible vocal lines for metalcore and deathcore
This makes me REALLY want a full Man in the Box cover from you.
I'd love to see you do Devin Townsend's vocals from the Steve Vai song "Pig" always found those vocals so impressive
Dude good call! Devin has an angelic voice for such an ugly looking man lol
this 10:08 "But why Should I?" gave me great smile. You da man!
Would be dope to hear Anthony's take on the song "Music" by Nightwish. I bet our dude here could deal with its vocal gymnastics in style. 😁 Or any Nightwish song...
Yes! I want to see him try the ending of shoemaker so bad
I never got into nightwish but my god the vocalists voice is impressive. It’s honestly amazing
O yea, a bit of Floor appreciation. GLS comes to mind immediately, but All things..., Shudder, Weak Fantasy, etc, etc are dang great (live too....like DANG!!)
Asked Shoemaker already, didn’t do it until now. Also the grunting from “Yours is an empty hope”
Holy shieeett that Given Up scream is so much better compared to your other videos on it. It's amazing to see you're still improving after all this time. Good stuff
Hey man you should try Devin Townsend-Deadhead Live from Royal Albert Hall from 6:30 to 7:00 and then that insane scream at the end...pull that off or anything close to it and you are a living legend
Wow! Had no idea you could go so high. Awesome Range and very clean. Amazing Screams!!
My grandparents taught me at the very least a huge amount of respect for opera singers, you don't have to like the music but respect? Absolutely due!
Turns out she'd been pretty mean to him in the bloody street of all places!! Him & Couple band mates doing screamo busking! Well she'd essentially said how terrible it was sing something that's actually singing. He busted out some serious operatic skills hahahaha, turns out his parents had him classical trained from about 5 & he LOVED opera! He's about 6 years younger than me, still takes my Nan to opera concerts when he visits his parents who live about 20mins from my Nan.
The commentary on this video felt more organic and I really liked it more than the other ones I've seen lol good shit 👍🏻
Chester is a god, no one can scream like him. I miss him.
Well someone just did
I feel like Lauren Babic would nail it
we all do brother. we all do.
I love this video. I'm a Soprano and some of these notes are easy for me to do but I *wish* I could do fry and an actual scream instead of just being able to belt. I really appreciate Anthony's insight into some of these lines 🙌
Always love the appreciation for Type O Negative ❤️
Sick bruh! I like your impression of Chester's scream. And all the others actually. I'm just a huge Linkin Park lover. You're killing it man. I like your voice. Keep on rocking. 🤘
Wow. I found someone from Port Chester who can sing. 😁
Have you tried anything from Steelheart yet? Miljenko Matijevic Is like the heavy metal Mariah Carey. Only he actually pronounces words in the high register, whereas she just screams. Fun fact: He supplied the vocals for Mark Wahlberg's character in "Rock Star". He lived in Scarsdale, NY before moving to Greenwich, CT. Possibly took music/singing lessons at Fraioli Music. Checkout Some Steelheart songs like "(Angel Eyes) I'll Never Let You Go", "She's Gone", "Can't Stop Me Loving You" and "Everybody Loves Eileen".
that was a very impressive video ! you did all so well!!
I definitely love Tool and Perfect Circle...would love to hear more of you doing some of there songs. Anthony sweet job!🍬🍫🍬Still waiting for "Fly to the Angels" by Slaughter from you.🥺🥺🥺
You got quite a few, I enjoy these videos so much man. Look forward to more Linkin Park and Tool styles or even their songs man. Love your stuff. 💚
