Hi pyrac, quick question. so is the only goal/purpose for getting a weapon with negative affinity (cos usually they have higher raw damage), then just raise your affinity via skills/decorations/talismans, essentially to get = high raw damage + affinity? been really confused with this negative affinity thing.
As a LBG main I've been thinking of running with 2 Assist Palico's with Felyne Silkbind Healing Bubble Power Drum Shock Purr-ison Poison Purr-ison pretty much free damage if the monster can't move no Mather the build right? when it comes to Skills Knockout King and Buddy Part breaker seem pretty nice as well. Yet to reach Sunbreak so the Buddies I currently have are all RNG still.

One of my favorite palico abilities is "shock tripper". It applies thunder blight on the moster making it easy to get a KO.
Yup, that's why I run Shock Tripper on both palico plus Ameowzing Mist on both as well. You effectively have a regular blight uptime the entire hunt.
I wanna see this man play mhgu palico hunter mode.
I would pay money for that mode to be playable again.
Unfortunately i didn't enjoy what i played of GU but maybe i'll do it for an april fools or something
