Bike of the show for me. It's got everything a rider would want for road riding while looking surprisingly good (prettier than the S1000XR, IMO). I don't know why but this looks so much more disireable than the GT. The fact that it is a Suzuki (reliable and unexpensive) makes it all the better.
This bike alone has made me excited for a Japanese brand in the same way I always am when thinking about any European brand. If this is what we can expect from Suzuki then the future is bright. Home run Suzuki! Great job! Love the looks!
Ya Suzuki! Making a comeback and making a statement with these New bikes. I have the 2023 GSX S1000 and I love it! Thank you Suzuki for the ear to ear grin every time I twist the throttle!
Suzuki are back. Never owned a Suzuki until the last couple of years, presently I'm really enjoying my 800de, excellent bike! Now I want to have a go on the GX.
Suzuki knows what they're doing and wants to take a bite in one of the hottest segments Lately, Ducati V2s, Yamaha 9GT, Honda Transalp, Bmw xr1000 (?) or maybe the new GS900 or 900XR, Triumph 900 pro etc. tall comfy not too strong not too expensive and knows how to take a turn in twisties.. Nice one Suz
I’ve got the 23 GT+ that I love, but I have to admit this bike looks awesome. The mirrors are closer for easier adjustment and the handlebar being rubber mounted may eliminate my hands falling asleep about 30 minutes into my ride. Glad Zuki is back in the game in good fashion. :)
Now this is my kind of bike. Though I just picked up a 1290 SAS, so I'm spoken for at this time. Nonetheless, I really like what Suzuki is doing here with this bike. Hope it sells well. I'd definitely be looking at picking one up if I hadn't already made my upgrade.
Fantastic watching Suzuki release some great new bikes lately. I demo’d the GT last yr & was throughly impressed. I caught wind of a new GX & sold my FJR reciently to put me in a position to possibly to get the GX come spring 😃😃. Absolutely love the look & design of the new GX. Love the stacked headlights & edgy stying. Has better passenger accommodations than the GT & the semi active sus is a game changer. Can’t wait to check it out when they arrive here in Ohio.
The electronically adjustable suspension makes it one up on the Vstrom also.

You are King. I stopped seeing any other youtube channel for EICMA coverage. THxs for your effort! you must be a wreck (tired) already... the only good part is... it is motorcycles! ;) your passion!
GSX-S1000GT was very fun to ride, but for a big guy like me (1,92m or 6.3ft-ish) felt too cramped but this... well... now we are talking. Looking forward to it.
Went to buy a blue Tracer 900 in 2018(2017 model),wanted a blue one, but could only get green, it really grew on me,especially after it was converted to go offroad, suited the environment!
Can't wait to get a test ride on this. I have a 2019 GSX-S1000 and it's great but there is a lot of buzzing through the bars. Hopefully that is sorted on this model.
I always think why suzuki tried to make an engine with their 2017 gsxr1000R VVT engine, which has amazing low end punch and acceleration...a different tune version for their newer bikes......this k5 derived engine is so good no question about that but still they have a great option not too much r & d required for this to happen
I would love to see a GSXR 750 with the vvti ball technology. Light and nimble 160 bhp and 195kg wet with all the electric aids from the last GSXR1000. So cornering ABS and lean sensitive TC and separate Wheely control. They are not competing in WSBK. If not that then a GSXR1000 that can pass the euro5 rules with a TFT.
Ok,if this bike is supposed to be used for touring could you answer these 3 points 1. Does it have heated grips 2. Does it have a centre stand 3. No sign of a top box?...can one be fitted..
looks like a great contender for those of us that don't want an adventure style bike. In my opinion there is hardly any bikes that hit the mark, Honda fell short with there 1100 in my opinion. I wonder what the tracer and this are like to ride back to back. The only other contender is the bmw 1000, and I personally are a little over the BMW culture...
Nice one Bob. Thank you. It’s nice to see Suzuki bringing out some different bikes to at least provide some additional competition which is always a good thing.
@@williamrae9954 I agree!! The NT1100 is very dull and not fun at all to ride. I have tried it, and the Transalp and Africa Twin, nothing at Honda is exciting. No more 4 cylinders so no wonder... I'll keep my Crossrunner since it's a VFR and built like a tank and is only 5 years old/50.000 km, but damn is that Suzuki tempting ahah
It is funny that Suzuki made this bike for its Ergonomics , upright seating position, Comfort for longer rides, out of all the videos , none sat on the bike to check the ergonomics, every one talk about power and the details. Good job Suzuki, finally realized the V-Strom has tough competition and having more touring option is needed , so next has to be GSX 750 GX with power of R version of this engine.
Competed to Yam tracer 9 it is pricey it is better looking then a Kawa Versus 1000se and it is cheaper than a BMW s1000xr TE(but XR is more powerful) so I reckon this can be a sales hit for Suzuki and compared to the GT version this one also has lean sensitive ABS and TC thanks to Bosh 6axis IMU.
The GT is a good bike, but unfortunately the leg room just felt too cramped for me to long distance even after adding lower pegs and the windscreen is garbage for tall riders really. This bike definitely piques my interest because i've been debating just giving in and going the ADV sport tourer route for comfort and fun in the twisties.
I completely agree. I really want a ninja 900 based off the Z900 chassis, or a Z900S like the Z750S. Really I want a 400ish pound sport tourer with 120-160 horsepower. Like the FZ1 we used to have

Yup... like SUV reign the cars... ADV motorcycles are the hot thing right now... unfortunately. and then there is XSR900 GP
I think it's the world Economic situation we see right here.. The money is no longer cheap & people want more for less price, the big expensive ADV are selling with difficulties while the Honda long years attitude off creating half boring not pricy all-rounder (same with Yamaha 900 family) is really appealing to them all
This sport adventure bikes segment is growing up and it looks good. The concept is likely the one functioning for the cars . The SUV segment. It’s a major success in cars industry and it’s becoming a success in motorcycles Industry too.👍🏻👍🏻
Trouble is, in UK at the moment the Tracer 9 GT + is £1500 off, ie £13k with FULL huge luggage, heated grips, Centre stand (all options on the Suzuki). Triple is not as powerful, but boy it goes. Also GSX-S GT owners bemoan the lack of a “7th” gear, ie very under-geared. I don’t hate Suzukis (I own one plus a BMW)……….just sayin’……..
Suzuki was so maligned a few years ago for such a old, uninteresting product line. Now here they are with probably the most interesting lineup from any of the Japanese manufacturers. This and the V-Strom 1050 are models I would strongly consider. My only qualm with the GSX is I would like the pegs a little more mid mounted.
1) cost, 2) leftover parts, 3) lack of available parts. I think Suzuki put out what they could at the time. Now that production has ramped back up and supply is back up, you will see them "upgrade" a few things on the bikes that came out first (such as S1K).
I have a gt1000+. Like this more. Price in USA is 18499. That's 2000 more than the tracer9 gt+. Gx seems overpriced to me. My spin app really sucks and the paint on my gt is not durable at all. Not sure I will purchase another Suzuki. Suzuki needs to go more upscale instead of cutting corners on everything.

Personally I think it has too many sharp angles in the front. I think the XR has it beat in the looks department but looks are always subjective.
A great looking bike, much nicer looking that the BMW S1000XR. I’ll be looking for a test ride on this! Great move from Suzuki.
Agreed
Suzuki is finally completely back! ❤
Looks good I would prefer the m1000xr if I had no budget 😅

Best bike of the show so far.
Just what’s needed for the state of UK roads with all the potholes.
Fantastic looking bike.👍🏻
Sprint air filter, full exhaust and Moore Mafia tune and it’ll be perfect.
To me too it's the best surprise of this show.

That k-5 sounds insane in this world of after market exhaust.❤
Can I just say, having the oil quantity on the engine casing is ingenious 👏 well done Suzuki. And the green looks great.
love to try the suspension features, especially that float control. I've always been fond of 4 cylinder engines, they just sound so good.

That Green looks real good
Great job Suzuki, bike looks great. Suzuki is on rise, really good models lately.
Wonder if you can put a top box on it.
After this one yamaha should think about tracer update with mt10 engine ;)
Is the windshield adjustment by hand or have to use a Allan key every time you want to change adjustment?
The electronically adjustable suspension makes it one up on the Vstrom also.

i really like the look of that, even the headlight to me looks good! if i wanted a tourer, i'd look at one, great price for that type of bike

Same here!
Bloody gorgeous bike…Suzuki may just have stolen the show!
I love the look of this bike, I really think Suzuki have hit the mark here, and I want one real bad !!
$18,500 in the US. $4300 more than the GT+. I predict leftovers next year going for around $16K
Are there leftovers of the GT? This has considerably more feature content and material content than the GT. Additional suspension travel ain't free.
I love it in that green
Any changes on the new suzuki boulevard ?
