The bikes I found most interesting were the new Suzuki GSXS1000 GX and the Stelvio, we'll have to see how they're priced. Thanks again for your excellent coverage of the show!
Yeah, I get so frustrated with that as well. I live in the SW US and the only bikes I ever see are sport bikes (mostly Japanese) and Harley's, more Harley's, and even more black, incredibly loud Harley's. There's just no diversity here really, which is a shame.
I’m not going to lie but CFmoto is coming out of the gates swinging. They are deeply invested in the market and turning out everything that someone could want. I have a 450ss and I got it for a in town bike. Currently I live in a town with a lot of little turn off roads that make having a small displacement bike very fun. I thoroughly enjoy my 450 and I’m blown away by the value. I literally sold my ZH2 because it just wasn’t as fun. So I’m excited to see some of these other bikes they make and if you are in the market I highly suggest a 450ss over the other beginner bikes (which I’ve also owned).
Bought 800nk myself, the build quality of their bikes today is on par or even better than the japanese bikes I got and compared to KTM itself. Only downside so far is the ecu map, I believe CFmoto detuned it so the 790 could have a little bit more and I feel it at the bottom end the rpm bogs too much it felt restricted and the delivery isn't linear but this only happens in sports mode. Nothing that a proper map could fix but bike is still under warranty so I don't want to mess with the ecu just yet. I heard a remap of 450sr/ss turns the bike up a notch too.

I'm very interested in how the kawasaki hybrid rides. I'm also a bit confused as to whether it's an ERS type system (electrical boost on a button) or if it seemlessly assists the 450 engine and makes it feel faster or both !
Been riding for over fifty years, twenty years ago I bought my first “adventure bike” and my riding experience really began. I never realized that staying on tarmac limited my riding to about 50% of the roads in my area. Still don’t like the name “adventure” and I still own tarmac only bikes, but all my bigger off-tarmac bikes have been a joy.

Not convinced Honda (my favorite manufacturer) deserves an A+ but Suzuki sure does. Also, what about the EV’s - were they virtually a no-show? That aside, I’d like to know how MotoBob would rank the EICMA “festival” - is it really pilgrimage worthy; what are the pros and cons of the event and, going deeper, how do the manufacturers feel about it?
Good questions. Firstly we don't really cover EVs because generally they don't do that well with the audience. But there were plenty of electric bikes there to see. It's a great show that's a must visit once in my opinion, especially if you tie it in with a couple of days in Milan which is a great city. Plus you're an hour from Lake Como which is worth a trip, and maybe a chance to do the Moto Guzzi factory tour up there too which isn't far away. The only thing I would warn you is that Friday and Saturday are extremely busy to the point that you can't really get near the bikes. So I would aim for Thursday if poss, then do all the other sightseeing over the weekend. As for the manufacturers - well it felt like a few brands went cold on it during COVID. I believe it's very expensive to run a stand, and most manufacturers were forced to get pretty good at launching their bikes online during that period. But this year felt like it was on the up again, and it was only really BMW and Harley that were missing. Maybe it's just not worth it for them, but it would have been pretty much a full house which (perhaps selfishly from a content perspective) would have been amazing.
@@motobob What about Kawasaki's hybrids? Or was nothing announced at EICMA? I believe they are worth a shot as a video generally. Sort of in the middle of electrics and gas, and something many could have been expecting. "We've had hybrid cars forever, why not motorcycles, too?"
We just didn't have time to get round to it, and by the end of the week the show became so busy that it was impossible to shoot anything. The bike looks incredible though. Hopefully next week we can take a bigger team to cover more bikes in the first couple of days!

Thanks Bob Pretty good scoring across the board. I’m getting sick to death of parallel twins!! Obviously they must be cheap to make with how many manufacturers are now selling multiple bikes with said donks.
As a big Yamaha MT rider (owned a share of MT07s and MT09s) I have to say that 800nk GP caught my eye. Love the look of that bike and I bet that thing is a great track bike. Currently ride an MT09sp that doubles as my track bike but love that CF moto
The one manufacturer that seemed to be overlooked by nearly everyone was Kove. Last year their big news was the 450 rally, but I'd have loved to have a better look at the new 800X adventure bike. I know it's a Chinese bike brand, but they seem to be very passionate about bikes and show great promise.
My favourites definitely are NX500, MT450 and Himalayan 452 (451.63cc). These are favourites as the seatheight is not an Everest away from my toe while the power is not intimidating yet practical which useful in 95% of the time. These are just my personal opinions as I feel mostly are too heavy and too tall if not the financial department issue 555 (ha ha ha in thai). Cheers and keep up the awesome work 💪🏼
Don’t know why people on here are dissing adventure bikes, I remember my GSXR 750 being absolutely brilliant to ride... for about 20 miles before my back and bum were killing me, nice to have both types if u can afford it, done big trips on my vstrom 650 , hundreds of miles in a day with no aching body issues. So, if you want to look cool for half an hour at the weekend or just get out and tour then that’s all fine, each to their own.
When Kawasaki went up from 300 cc's to 400 cc's the 300's were dirt cheap. Everyone wanted to wait a year. $2,999.00 was what I paid for mine. The same thing will happen with the 400's. Look for good deals on Ninja 400 and z 400 models. This is the best time of year to shop a bike.

Nice job, thank you, I am pleased to see you including the likes of CFMoto, Benelli and MotoMorini in your review, as some other channels managed to skip over them entirely. Did you do any coverage of the Fantic bikes while there?
If an adventure bike is ridiculous for most riders, what about a scrambler? The Svartpilen bikes are really tempting to me. Also, you have to admit the Himalayan makes sense. Light, cheap, and it's parts add up to something that just works extremely well.
Can you do a separate video on all new 125cc , i love the new cf moto nk 125 and the 125cc fantic imola it looks like a little r1 , and i like how they dont look like a small bike , just crap they come out in 2024 and 25
I've been enormously impressed with CFMOTO the last couple of years. They're really pushing strong against the the big 4 Japanese bikes and I'm all for it. I was initially very wary of "just another Chinese bike company" but boy have they proved me wrong and even turned me into a fan. I predict we're going to keep seeing big things from them going forward.
really anticipated R9 was not on the show but I'm the 'classic' kind of man so that GP's quite tempting. but that desert x rally..! that's a thing I'm hooked
You’re waiting for the R9, I’ve always thought a T9 would be an excellent addition. Just imagine the T7 chassis with a triple! Excellent reporting by the way, very comprehensive and enjoyable. Cheers!
Triumph T-planed the cranks on their triples for the ADV bikes, for essentially a conjoined 270° parallel twin-made-triple. Works better for off-pavement traction. Standard 120° firing interval triples will be better than a flat-plane inline-4 for off-pavement, but not by much.
Yeah what is it, just over the hill, about 500km down the road to Milano - For a behemoth company like BMW? And they couldnt even be bothered! While other small manufacturers made a great effort and really contributed - Would like to know what the story is
I would like to see, for EICMA 2024, a second iteration Honda Transalp 750 with cruise control, tubeless tires, proper larger TFT screen, and easy air filter access. The Tuareg 660 is perfect but needs better quality control, and engine heat reduction on the leg. The BMW R1300GS needs to have switch gear update, notably night backlighting. The Tenere 700 needs better weight, and seat balance. Anybody have more suggestions for what they want to see at EICMA 2024!?
CF MOTTO IS NOW THE MOST FINESSE TYPE OF BIGBIKES AND I CAN SAY COMING SUPERBIKES OF THE YEARS AHEAD.I LOVE THIS KIND OF FUTURISTIC GENIOUS BIKE PERFECTLY MADE.Thanks to you more 9n about the reviews of my favorites now CF MOTTO.THE BEST,,Thanks there Pal..
That was a nice summary, I also watched you videos at the show. I liked the new Suzuki GSX S1000GX and the Moto Guzzi Stelio. Your table was interesting too and significant that the Chinese brands featured significantly and that 3 big brands didn’t bother to turn up, really surprised BMW didn’t bother, in my mind it does send a negative message to potential customers.

Also, you have to admit the Himalayan makes sense. Light, cheap, and it's parts add up to something that just works extremely well.
Can you do a separate video on all new 125cc , i love the new cf moto nk 125 and the 125cc fantic imola it looks like a little r1 , and i like how they dont look like a small bike , just crap they come out in 2024 and 25
Great video. Luv luv luv the 40th anniversary paint on the kawasaki.
What about Voge?
Cool run down, worth a watch.
Thanks Paul! Appreciate it 🙏
I've been enormously impressed with CFMOTO the last couple of years. They're really pushing strong against the the big 4 Japanese bikes and I'm all for it. I was initially very wary of "just another Chinese bike company" but boy have they proved me wrong and even turned me into a fan. I predict we're going to keep seeing big things from them going forward.
really anticipated R9 was not on the show but I'm the 'classic' kind of man so that GP's quite tempting.
but that desert x rally..! that's a thing I'm hooked
great reviews as always
My personal favourite bike as got to be the Moto Morini Milano 🤔
Himalayan is a 450cc single cyl. Not sure about the vibrations on that.
You’re waiting for the R9, I’ve always thought a T9 would be an excellent addition. Just imagine the T7 chassis with a triple! Excellent reporting by the way, very comprehensive and enjoyable. Cheers!
too heavy and way too much power for it's intended purpose
Triumph T-planed the cranks on their triples for the ADV bikes, for essentially a conjoined 270° parallel twin-made-triple. Works better for off-pavement traction. Standard 120° firing interval triples will be better than a flat-plane inline-4 for off-pavement, but not by much.
Wait, is Yamaha definitely NOT coming out with the R9? Or did they just not announce it yet?
Dude, they are bringing back the zx6rr which is just fantastic.
Perfect summary! Thank You!
Thanks for the video it is informative 👍🏾
Very well summarised. Should also talk about EVs in simar vein.
What about kove, they look to have a couple of interesting bikes
What about Kove!??
What does it say for the prestige of the EICMA show that BMW & H-D did not bother to exhibit 🤔
Yeah what is it, just over the hill, about 500km down the road to Milano - For a behemoth company like BMW? And they couldnt even be bothered! While other small manufacturers made a great effort and really contributed - Would like to know what the story is
Great review and through the show. Looking forward to looking at the Himalayan and CFMoto 450MT. 👍
Great job. Thank you.
Appreciate the support! Thanks 🙏
Great honest reviews as always. Now get yourself sorted for a test ride on the Suzuki gx please!!
Was excited for Kawasaki Hornet, oh sorry Honda z900 - no wait 😢
Ninja 400 is already amazing. The 500 will just be a dream.
I'm biased my fav was F99, got so much potential for the company in the upcoming future 💫💫
Adventure bikes are the SUVs of today
Best 2024 bike for me, Triumph Scrambler 400. I've just watched RevZilla new video riding one up the highest road in the World. Fantastic. 😊
This guy is killing it! I love his comprehensive reviews, while still be engaging
CF MOTO sure working overtime.... has got its priorities right .... looking forward to seeing them on road
Looking forward for a test of nee Suzuki GSX/GX
Love Moto Guzzi and Ducati❤️💯🏍🔥
GSX 8R For sure my favorite. Just hope my 6foot 2inch butt can fit on it. Because If I can, Im buying it when its released.
Good overview; short and interesting 👍
Suzuki GSX8R & Moto Morini 750, great video btw!
