This was indeed, from my perspective, one of the most difficult stories to hear.
I felt a lot of her pain, mixed with my own.
I still often try to paint my story different with beautiful, colorful hues to cover the pain,
while Nancy has chosen to share hers with the world.

Hers is a testament to tenacity and perseverance. It’s miraculous that she’s overcome all the different drug addictions, especially heroin. I’m glad she overcame her heinous upbringing, too; she’s a walking miracle and here for good reason. Best of luck with her continued sobriety and every endeavour she makes in life. Wow…

Having sex with the neighbor at age 5 was great candy money but moving in with grandma was traumatizing!
Children that are abused check out or black out and don’t remember abuse so they sometimes know it happens but it becomes the new normal so not a big deal until later in life. Changing their environment, like where they live, is traumatic to them.

Uh yeah kinda weird that this is a topic. She’s a f’d up piece of work because of her life and probably not easy to be around but nobody knows or cares about that. None of this would have happened if adults were decent and not entertaining the devil’s business.

Something about her story is suspect. Like when she said some guy would show up with BROWN heroin and her dad would show her how to add lactose to stretch it. First off , you can’t add lactose to tar heroin . Unless it was powdered heroin which isn’t brown it’s white . And Mexicans 99% of the time deal black / brown heroin. Chinese deal the white .
Black / Brown heroin is sold in the Southwestern part of the US. White heroin is majorly sold in the Eastern part of the US.
But it was decades ago...maybe the distribution/territory was different. Maybe in her memory she is not paying attention to which purity she was cutting the lactose into. She probably is just telling her story, not working on accuracy. Perhappies
