I discovered your channel today and binged what you've created so far. Your tech skills and video skills are top notch! You have a bright YT future, I think.
Thanks for the inspiration. You've demonstrated the willingness to learn new techniques, and I'm sure you sometimes get a headache trying to absorb all that information. Keep the videos coming, particularly with the humor, and hats off to your videographer/editor.
I love seeing neat electrical installation, this is a fantastic job. Please though, for your sake and ours, get rid of that "test" screwdriver, and buy a basic 2-pole voltage tester. If those screwdrivers fail, the voltage goes through you!
I'm amazed at your progress with your grandfather's workshop, I'm sure he would be so proud of what you have done to the shop and what you have made in it, from CNC Plasma table to a boat. you and your husband and cat are going from strength to strength its amazing looking forward to the full skid steer project, I wish you all the very best, you would make a very good instructor for future generation you have a kind personality and you keep it interesting. Well done keep smiling 😊
You may say you're not an electrician, but your wiring looks way better than a lot of kludge jobs done by professional electricians I've seen in my life and work.
Hello, I am an Electrician. Your work is excellent! I especially like how you painted the walls where the wires used to be. I know by looking at your electric work that you will be an excellent machinist! DD
Nice tidy job. I did industrial electrical work and some of it involved running conduit and installing starters and circuit protection. I always strived to have everything look nice and orderly. I will be great to see how your new machine operates and what you fabricate with it. jack in The Valley of the Sun Arizona, USA.
what is this magical flexi conduit she's using???? is it legal here? Also, the Ghostbusters caution tape is an excellent touch! -Colorado mike, now tennessee mike.
Hello Lucia! You do some really nice work with high attention to detail. Very versatile set of skills too. Maybe I missed it somewhere but I would be interested to know more about how you developed your skills, who mentored you, etc. Maybe you could do a separate video on how you got to where you are now? I think it could be very inspirational to others. Cheers!
Hello. Maybe I will do such video later. In short, this shop is my grandfather's, but he's too old to work there and all the equipment just stood covered with dust. One day I decided to try welding, found it interesting and decided to build a boat - my grandpa's unfulfilled dream. You know what happened next ;-)
@@luciasworkshopI’d say you have advanced astronomically. It’s always good when a parent or grandparent can start you on your way but it looks to me your victories are your own. Obviously you possessed raw talent just waiting to be developed. My own discovery in life is that the courage to try is often the key that unlocks potential. Good adventures.
Love your work - have not seen all your videos yet, but will probably pretty soon. I'm an apprentice machinist/fitter, so really get the learning curves you are challenged with. Really like the plasma cutter build. I do quite a bit of CNC work, so am getting into G-code quite a bit.
I also need to update the electric in my grandfather's smithshop. I think the electric is still from way before the first WW. In some parts of the house you still have these ceramic round cylinders that you need to screw or unscrew to cut the fuse off. Unfortunately you need to have a degree in electrics where I live to work officially on that stuff to do it on your own like I would like to do. You can be glad that you are able to do the electrics on your own.
Journeyman electrician in states here, you do get work and your attention to details is excellent. Hats off to you. Just so odd how the electrical code changes over the globe, here in the states the NEC is very different than yours. Great job.
love your videos keep them coming nice to see clean well-engineered projects being designed and assembled not to mention the paint jobs are fantastic I think you like blue am I right, you can turn your hand to everything that's nice to see and well done, wish you well and good cheer, if you want an apprentice I'm available 😁just thought Id mention it 👍ha ha
That's a good question. I didn't notice the button until you mentioned it. ... I would definitely like Lucia to tell us more about herself. She makes great projects. It would be nice to know more about her, where she is based out of, what she does professionally, how she learned to build such complex projects, etc, etc.
Good job, graet video. But if you put this pipe with cable lake, this at 90 degrees, it is almost impossible to change the cable in this pipe later. You are lucky to have a surface installation as you can change everything. If are in cement (concrete), it is almost impossible
Probably a bit late to mention but I hope that wasn't asbestos sheeting you were drilling into? I do like love your work however. Keep making your videos
Great job! Our wires are buried in the plaster which makes adjusting/repairing things difficult. The plumber put a screw through one wire while installing the shower. Right now I'm putting in a subpanel for 380V in our shop for the mill and the band saw. Later I need to run a long branch off to our greenhouse heater, the electrician forgot to install that line when he did the rest of the work.
The channel she has a silver play button from says her location is Russia and the sign that is in the background of a couple of her videos is Russian. I would guess she is in Russia and the channel location is wrong. th-cam.com/users/LuciaRELOADfeatured
She is from Russia. She has her Russian channel as well. I asssume she locates herself as from the U.S. due to monetisation of this channel as monetisation in Russia is banned by YT.
Hello Lucia, I greatly admire the scope of your skills and how versatile you are in what you make but please, please, please get a good, accurate voltage meter to check for power before you tear i to something. I have seen to many people injured by relying on proximity or those little neon contact testers. There are a lot of situations where they will give a false reading. Always verify zero energy even on circuits you know are dead because sometimes they are not. I personally have encountered switches with one pole welded shut and fuses that have been wired around for one reason or another.
Hi Lucia, I'll put this in way back here. Apparently there are a lot of scams going around involving Telegram and a few of the channels I subscribe to have put messages up saying if anyone receives a message involving telegram it is not from them. I have received 2 claiming to be from you but have ignored them for the reason stated above. Would you mind confirming if these are from you please. Thanks and I really admire your skills.
Thank you very much. No, it's not from me. I don't know what's their purpose, but they are scammers. Could you please complain on their channel? (If you open the "about" section on their channel, you'll see the flag below the registration date, and you can complain by pressing on it) I'd be grateful.

Ok, two things. The first one is that you aren't based in USA, but in Russia. I can tell you because of the sockets, also you do have a bit of Russian accent. The second one is that you clearly didn't do this alone, there is a man behind you, and it's not your grandpa. There is a man with a lot of knowledge. I am no fool. You are talented, but you didn't do this all by yourself, there is someone behind every move, maybe more than one person.

Nice job, why did you go with downdraft outside of a water table?
It does have advantages, but has disadvantages as well, such as high humidity that harms other machines in the shop for example.

Essa mesa ficou muito legal. Esse sistema de sucção de fumos, realmente funciona? Obrigado
Sim, o ventilador lida, sem ele havia muita fumaça.
is the metal not warping by the heat? i see allot of plasma tables filled with water so the metal cools down faster so i cant heat up and warp
