Senja looks absolutely stunning! The views from the van must be unreal. Norway really is something special. Love following your journey through these beautiful landscapes. Can’t wait to see where you head next! 🚐🌲🇳🇴
Hey C2H! Another fantastic VLOG! With absolutely breathtaking scenery & landscapes (that's probably the word Charlene would use for the water temp too)??! .... very brave for getting in up to her neck! The first and only time I went to Norway (In the Navy), I was only about 17. We visited Bergen, Trondheim & Tromso - during snow blizzard season & I remember walking around with some of the older lads who's only mission was to get beer as cheap as possible!! I seem to remember (this was 1976), that a jug of beer was about 10 times the price of the UK! (maybe a slight over-exaggeration), but on my salary at the time .... I was sipping mine haha!! Thanks for taking us up the mountain (& over the top of it with the drone) ... what a place to fly a drone eh Chris?! I'm looking forward to the next edition, in the meantime, drive safe, stay safe & look out for each other (Please)! PS What colour are those waters again?? N1S Kev x
Another superb vlog Chris. Norway is absolutely magnificent either way those stunning vistas; and your aerial material really shows it off well. We too are into Turkish series - after Black Money Love watch Intersection, superb.
The magnificence of nature overload, where too much is not enough and you just make me want to see more. Your footage is superb and I just can't have enough of this beautiful country. You are so blessed to see it all in person. Thanks for sharing it with us.
If this is all you were about to lose when the hard drive crashed, I understand you would do anything to get it back. It must have been a shock. Beautiful filming, great storytelling. Both of you make it so interesting in your storytelling that I'm looking forward to the next film and your journey through Norway.
Thank you so much ❤️ Yeah we pretty much lost all these videos from the dome onwards so literally there are no words to describe the joy that we are able to finally share these videos (albeit a bit late) 🙂
Because of "allemannsretten" (the right to roam), parking restrictions and regulations are basically the only way to restrict and regulate access. This is why it costs so much to park in high traffic and tourist spots. They are trying to encourage circulation of parking.
@TravelTalesVlogs I went to Lofoten and Senja this summer as well, but by motorcycle. It's an amazing way to travel in Norway, with almost no restrictions or travel cost, since most parking is free, and also tolls and ferry rides are cheap or free. The only thing you have to worry about is the weather, and that can be harsh to be fair 😅
Not to speak of recoupling some of the cost of infrastructure for a tourist group that don't contribute much to local economy. Lofoten is being overrun by tourist that bring most food from overseas, live for free and take back enormous amounts of free fish.
@@jo_magpie That's not entirely true. Tourists contribute over 1.4 billion NOK to the Lofoten and Vesterålen economy each year. About half of that is directly to the tourist industry, like hotels and tours. The rest is through indirect income. Tourism also provides jobs for around 2000 people, which is quite significant, since only 25000 people live there permanently. I'm not saying tourism doesn't have a negative side, but there's many aspects to it.
well not only that. There are not enough infrastructure for these Vans to empty their toalett and camp, and it will only get worse as more people from Europe travel to Norway. Personally i hope they put the charge even higher. Cause the Van turist leave very little cash inflow to Norway. They stock up with food at home etc.
19:40 These people who live in northern Norway are quite typical. They want and demand payment for everything, but don't give a damn about looking after such stations or anything in return. Ideally, they want tourists to just send the money and not come!
It's the rain that makes it lush and green
So beautiful !

You should have gone to Vardø and Hamningberg in Finnmark. The landscape to hamningberg is one of my favourits!
Looks amazing - hopefully next time 😊
Stunning views!
Thanks so much ❤️
(The high mountains) people who live there call then the devils teeth. I grow up in Gryllefjord.
They do look like sharp teeth indeed 😊
When is this filmed? Not recently?
August

Yeah we are used to this in such popular spots

You made me laugh with your final sentence 😄 I think the whole troll park is closed tbf though so maybe they will renovate and reopen later !
