very useful, I replaced the keyboard just like that but it has a little bit not at the same level of the frame due to must destory all the plastic sealed with the keyboard backward in factory.thanks a lot.
But the keyboard metal retaining frame is plastic rivoted. So when you pulled over that metal cover you snapped all the plastic heads off. You can't just put the metal frame back on it will flop about, which will explain why your videos stopped at that point.
Most brand computer not making keyboard, wifi adapter, screen. Other companies making for them. Not only computer, other industries like mobile, car etc. Main unit or sofware they are making depend on their capacity, but credit goes to main brand.
Trust me people, it's NOT worth it! You can't access the keyboards on these modes without butchering the damn thing. There's a reason they have a riveted metal plate underneath every single other component and that's so that people end up warping it and popping off rivets making reassembling it impossible. By the time I got to the metal plate I just knew I wouldn't be able to put it back together so I didn't touch it.
@@James-4812 you don't require too much technique, but I agree with the statement. It's a very bad design, there is no reason to build the laptop this way, except making average user buy a new one if the keyboard breaks. I managed to do it, but the company lost a customer with me..
@@lauv13 I had an HP laptop from 2012, and one of the easiest things to do was replace the keyboard, because it was literally at the top and everything else was underneath it. Replacing it was simple, you unscrewed the one screw that had a "keyboard" symbol that held the keyboard in place, then you used a pry tool to free the keyboard from the laptop. There was NO need to take out anything else, you didn't even need to remove the casing shell which housed all the other components.
Wow this is the most unprofessional job I've ever seen. You just forcibly popped all the plastic rivets off which makes it impossible to securely remount them. You can see at the end of the video nothing is secure.
i need to do this for a co-worker - very helpful video! 👍
Thanks for watching... 👍🌹

You can make the rivets again with a soldering iron and some ABS. If you can't do that, better leave it. Really a bad design :/
I guess it is time for a new laptop
@@lauv13 Yeah if you're soldering techniques are good enough, not everyone is going to have a soldering iron never mind the skill.
