I would put hinges on the bottom of that back piece of the bench. Because it’s very deep. It will be hard to reach all the way down to the bottom With just a top hatch opening. I speak from experience of owning a homemade camper van.
One thing I think is that bench back piece is too tall to lift up, the table would have to be down to lift it. I think it will be easier to fold it toward the table to get things in and out.
Love the rug and the floor. Can't wait to see the counter top put on . My heart goes out to Phillip oh no more peeling . But at least no more leaks in the bathroom.
I pulled all my vents, lights and yellowing fixtures down and spray painted them white. Also Replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs off amazon. Saves the battery a bit.
Today I said to my husband "What day is it...?" And started cracking up, but then was like - no really, we've been inside for so long I'm losing track of time.
Watching your videos is like deja vu! lol We’re priming and painting walls, cabinets and the ceiling white and it seems like it’s never ending!! Meanwhile all of the fun decor items are being arriving and I just want to hurry this process up so I can decorate! Haha!! We also had a leak in our bathroom like your camper! We’re hoping to install our flooring next week.
When I saw Philip peeling small strips of wallpaper off in the bathroom I was glad he didn’t start with that room first. Three days later, “What day is it?” Everything looks great!
Love your flooring and I'm so glad you chose vinyl and I'm certain in the long run you will be happy too. The counter will look gorgeous, but I cannot wrap my mind around how you're going to put it up. I'm really looking forward to that episode!
Wanted to share a tip I learned from another channel I follow, “Engineer Your Space”. On the tape measure, so you don’t have to do that weird bendy thing we all do, there should be a measurement on the tape measure. Mine has “2 1/2 inches” written on it. So you just put the tape measure up to the end, read the number on the tape and then add 2 1/2” and that is the total. I hope that makes sense! 👍🏼
My family moved every 2-3 years growing up. My mom always said to make your walls neutral and decorate with color. I know it will all be so beautiful when you are finished. Then you can sit back and enjoy your hard work. And hopefully, Phillip won't have to peel any more wallpaper for quite a while!!!

But so many TH-camrs gloss over this with a few seconds of "we stripped the wall paper and painted the walls" not showing what an enormous task it actually is. I think it sets a lot of people up with false expectations for their own projects which can be really disheartening.

I know a guy that painted his yellowed tub and sink with the Rustoleum tub refinishing kit. It held up really well. Maybe down the way you could add a new faucet and sink that is some type of vessel. I have been looking at those for our beach home. Oh the possibilities!!! LOL I hope the paint is drying faster in the rain than the wall spackle did. It's a bummer to work on beautiful sunny days when you want to be out enjoying the weather. I hope it clears up for a while so you can get plenty done. I'm eager to see the finished product! Love that you were able to source things you love in these crazy times. You will not regret vinyl wood look flooring we put it in our basement family room and it has paid for itself in spades during a recent flood. It dried out within 24 hours with no damage. Love the videos!

It's coming together a treat! I love the natural mix of wood and marble and the nature colors of the green and coral. It looks " inherited" like family heirlooms are incorporated in it. Does that make sense? It's not same, same, run of the mill, every body has it. It's personal!

Flooring is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!! Love the colour!!!!! This is the product we would put into our client’s homes when I owned my building company. It’s a great product and can be wet mopped. And if any piece gets damaged, it is easy to replace the one strip rather than having to unclick boards 🤗. Great choice Elysia ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I already suggested that before they fixed the backing board. Now that they are replacing it, I hope they rethink the idea.

You can use a spring rod to put up a curtain up before the bathroom door.
