    THANKYOU, this was so helpful! I was confused because I was reading all the instructions that come with form 237, and the PO Box was off by one number so I thought I had to submit at different times since 435 and 909 went to a slightly different PO box. But you cleared it, thankyou :)

    I am waiting for my exam only application to be processed and have not yet taken the exam. Can I get the live scan fingerprinting done before taking the exam, hang on to the RE 237 copies, and submit it with the license application after I have taken the exam? Thank you.

    So will the DRE send a License application right after I pass my state exam ?? Or do I need to go to the Dre website and print out the license application myself after I pass the state exam and send it to them??

      If you originally submitted the examination application of RE 400A, the DRE will provide you the license application after you pass the state exam. They will usually mail it to you. However, if you'd like to get a head start, you can complete RE 435 and select "License" instead of "Combination" and submit it to the DRE with your fingerprints and remaining fees. I hope that helps!

    what happens if you did the combination exam and license application and did your live scan fingerprints but failed your exam do you have to redo the live scan fingerprints again and pay another $70 to $75 or do they hold onto the ones you already submitted?

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Erika, great question! The DRE approves your application for a two year period, so you will just have to pay to retake the state exam ($60 for salesperson) and then once you pass the exam within that two year period, you will receive your license! You won't need to submit new fingerprinting as long as it is done within that approval period. :)

      @@accreditedschools so the live scan fingerprinting is also good for 2 years just like the licensing fee of $245? The only thing you would have to repay after a fail on a exam is the $60 to retake another one?

    Where do infer these forms?? Also where can I get ORI number?

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  ปีที่แล้ว

      You complete form RE237 from the DRE's website and then provide it to the live scan operator - they will complete the operator portion on the form!

  • @theresemacy
    @theresemacy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you have to mail it in or can you scan the fingerprinting form and add it into the combination application online?

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will mail it if you apply via mail, but if you apply online with eLicensing then you will need to scan and upload your fingerprinting form when you are applying for the combo application online!

    how long do you have once you get the fingerprints live scan done before you send all the stuff I did the fingerprints but don't have a brokerage yet.. is it 30 days? because I can figure it out soon but want to know how long the fingerprints are valid for.

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are not sure exactly how long the DRE will accept fingerprinting but once you complete RE 237 then I have heard students being able to submit it even two to three months later. I just cannot confirm that though.

  • @catd7547
    @catd7547 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So you can take the exam b4 you get fingerprints?

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the application route you choose when applying to the DRE. If you apply with the Examination only option, then you apply for the license portion after you pass the state exam. Thus, you can submit the fingerprints after taking the exam. However, if you apply with the Combination (Exam/License) Application, then you need to do your fingerprinting when you originally apply.

    Do you need brokers signature cause it says it on the form for my exam completion and for finger printing I only got a receipt but I do have the identgo form?

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are doing the combination application of RE 435 and already have a broker selected, then you can have them sign the form. Otherwise, you will select "No Broker Affiliate" and can add your broker using eLicensing once you have your license.

    Great content

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for asking that question! The DRE requires disclosure of all criminal record, so the felony would need to be disclosed on the application. Nondisclosure usually is immediate denial, but if disclosed then the DRE considers the type/time when making a decision. Here's some great information from the DRE on the topic: www.dre.ca.gov/files/pdf/faqs/FAQ-RERAPS.pdf

      I had a similar question. But where would I disclose this information if it is not asked on the forms?

    • @accreditedschools
      @accreditedschools  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anthony! If applying for a salesperson license, it would needed to disclosed on DRE form RE 435 (www.dre.ca.gov/files/pdf/forms/re435.pdf). It can be found on the background information section and a portion of it will ask for specifics. I hope that helps!

    • @EastBayRealtor-
      @EastBayRealtor- 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks it did . But if you look at the newest form from the Dre it doesn’t ask if you have ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. I see the section on the the older forms where it asks to specify everything. But it isn’t there on the newer forms.
