I'm from Athens Georgia but I have been to Atlanta before
I feel like Atlanta is overlooked too much. However it could just be that the city grew really fast recently and people haven't yet realized how good a city it is
I live here. The city is seriously incredibly bland. Good to visit once. Much better to visit New York, Vegas, Grand Canyon, etc…

I remember in kindergarten I went to the Georgia aquarium as my first field trip.I will never forget it and in 5th grade after years of not seeing Atlanta which in this case I was born in which makes me really proud,I went to Coca Cola world and when we got off the bus and waited in the big field and saw the big buildings I felt like I was back at childhood...Im moving to Atlanta when I’m fully grown up.ill see you soon Atlanta...soon...

In case anyone can update this, the dinosaur museum is actually Fernbank Museum of Natural History, not Fernberg. Also, the museum and science center are two separate organizations.

Well I'm going to be visiting soon. Having been lucky enough to travel alot . I've not been to any of the southerns states. As a Black woman born and raised in the UK to say I'm slightly hesitant is somewhat of an understatement!
Not all of the south is as bad as people think. Trust me. I've visited some southern states. Atlanta isnt that bad of a city. But other cities i recommend for you are Raleigh, North Carolina, and Memphis, Tennessee. I have visited those cities. They are really cool. If you go to raleigh, try out this huge barbecue restaurant called "The Pit". And right across the street is a chocolate factory called "Videri". And for memphis, enjoy great music and tennessee style food. Even take a boat ride along the river that borders tennessee with the state of arkansas.
I'm truly love Atlanta,GA could be my 2nd home. Love ATL.😉👍

You know...ppl never mention the fact that Miami, DC, and Boston all have smaller city inhabitants when compared to their MSA just like Atlanta. Just reading up on Atlanta, I understand why so many other cities are mad. Lets see, home to the worlds busiest airport. ..thats why Chicago mad!

Just passed Miami as the 8th most populace metro and took Maybach Music Group. ..that's why MIA is mad!

Fredrick Baker . It has the busiest airport, because of connecting flights not final destination. Additionally, Atlanta is the only city I can think of that has only one airport. It's a nice city but I wouldn't compare it to LA, Chicago, SF, NY, etc. No way.

Atlanta kills SF and LA because the cost of living in Atlanta is significantly lower and there are significantly more big booty bitches in Atlanta.

The video highlights many beautiful places and events in Atlanta. Be aware of the Downtown area where muggers and thieves linger around waiting to rob you. I went there on Nov. 1st and was approached 4 times and 2 would have ended badly if it wasn't for my upbringing in the City. Right in Downtown, 2 blocks from the statehouse, in broad daylight. There's always good and bad places throughout any City. Keep your wits, stay focused, aware and don not let anyone show you "they way" to get somewhere.
I seriously want to move to Atlanta, it seems like a great place to live. Very open and interactive.

I love Atlanta.I lived there from 2004-2006, and I can't wait to move back.I'm originally from Memphis, and currently live in Nashville.100 people a day are moving to Nashville, but I find Nashville TOO WHITE and COUNTRY.And I'm a Black woman who dates White guys, and has biracial children.Blackness is not on the radar in Nashville, which is something even native Black Nashvilllians complain about.Atlanta is the best U.S.city to self-actualize, if you're Black.Oh- and EVERY MALL in Georgia is AMAZING.
