He's actually right. For the longest time Ive always wondered what went through pros heads when they play any sports... Hockey, baseball, rocket league. The truth is thinking slows you down. You have faster reactions when nothing is going on in your head. Do the thinking and analyzing before and after the game
I've noticed I play extraordinary better when I'm in the state of flow (pure focus). Time just slips past me

As a diamond player, I play with my GC friend every now and again and you start to realize after a while that RL strategy is like a big game of rock paper scissors and the higher you get in mmr the faster you have to be able to play rock paper scissors and you have to get better at switching between either rock or scissors when a player looks like they are about to throw down paper.
It's weird.
Your analogy of rock, paper, scissors is a cheating method. You have to pick one, you can't alter your decision between rock and scissors.

So it's all coming around full circle, it kinda makes sense tbh
There's some additional pieces of advice for bronzes though -- don't bump your teammates off the ball every 30 seconds, and a triple-commit is never a good plan.

This feels like me when I went into a game with a c3 on a c1 alt, he taught me so much wether it be big mistakes or minor fixes it helped me improve a lot, I suggest other people try this. This might be considered smurfing but if your plat try to get a higher level player to play down to your rank, not carry you but just play like a good tm8 and it will help you improve if you learn from his advice
There is many good ppl like that but my knowledge of big brain rocket league tells me that there would be more toxic players than the good guys
@@FarhanNoor There's also an issue with high-level players struggling to actually teach lower-level players how to get better. I very thankfully stumbled across a GC in 2v2 and 3v3 (I was playing plat III duel at the time) who is super nice and wants to help me get better. Up to C1 in 2's and 3's, and I've learned so much in just a couple months.
What i did was getting a bunch of c2-gcs together and play in private matches together :) i was d1 at the time and got to c1-c2 within a month:)
