i’ve done so many classy flip shots but i never new it was a real named trick, like yeah every time i get that type of shot i would be really happy cause it looks cool and also i don’t see anyone else in my games (lobby’s) do it but i never thought it was an actual shot, now i feel more proud ngl haha
@@officergreg1318 It's impossible. Why ? Because when you're gonna do the musty, you won't be able to do a pancake. And the quad resets needs to be done with heli-stall if you want to do the musty flick.

Super cool to see the classy flip. I just started getting into rocket league. Made it to about Plat 1 season 7. I was messing around in 1s and started a dribble, jump and 180 spin then back flip to flick it into one of the corners. Had never seen anyone else doing them, but that almost looks like it just with added boost lol
No, your headlights would not be able to light up the area around you from your perspective. Edit: the most accurate answer is that is it impossible to travel at the speed of light in the first place, duh. Theoretically, if you were able to achieve the speed of light exactly, time would stop from your perspective, meaning that nothing would happen.
Wouldn’t the light be catapulted ahead at the speed of light? Like a jet going 500mph shooting a missile, the missile doesn’t just explode inside the jet, it’s still thrown forward

speedflip: at the first jump put your stick to the right botom so that your car will turn a bit. second jump go with your stick to top left then immediatly go back to the bottom right to flip cancel. At the end if needed use slide to keep momentum. The most important step is the first jump with your stick to the bottom right. So that your flip goes straight to the ball. Aiming on the ball so that you will hit it perfectly at the kick off so that it goes to goal. That is something I only do 1/50. Just started playing this game 3 weeks ago and the speedflip was kinda easy to learn.
I'm in Gold II and the speed flip is like the first thing I wanted to learn. So I just sat down, watched a couple videos, and grinded it until i got it lol I can now speed flip mostly consistently and it makes me feel way better at the game than I actually am XD

@@uLa5er Looking back I was always doing it the right way. My problem was that in the musty speed flip tutorial i hit the "gas" button 0.1 millisecond before boost button. When I fixed that I got to the ball all the times. The more you know. Fun looking back how much one has improved in a year.

There’s an easier way to do a speed flip by using air roll right or left. When you hold air roll left or right and do a front flip, it turns into a perfect diagonal flip. After that you quickly cancel it and bing boom, speed flip without the super precise joystick movements. Sorry for your pain and suffering. If anyone sees this I hope it helps you.
@EL1TE PICKLE With the instructions above, this should be considerably easier than any air dribble. The method he posted actually makes speed flips by far the easiest mechanic on the list. Maybe still tough at bronze 3, but definitely one to incorporate. I't say it's around the same difficulty as half flips.
It's not hard to learn (even a full air-roll air dribble is more difficult to do). You want something that is hard to do ? A reset musty backboard reset, or a ceiling musty reset backboard double touch.
Im at champ rank and I cannot air dribble or do most of the fancy things these competetive players do but for me being able to identify whats coming at me has helped me be able to counter it. I hope I'll learn to control as good as a pro one day 🙏
i can agree to thiss video, as a proud gold i remember when i did my first cieling shot it felt so good after weeks of practice the day i managed to do it i screamed louder than the belt whip my dad gave me for screaming that hard but after that it was a pretty easy mechanic in my opinion

If you are in bronze, you should watch Sunless's WYSARL if you haven't already to improve your gamesense and if you want to learn mechanics you should first learn fast aerials and maybe half flips since they are commonly useful. or lol just do kutzer pinch

The speed flip was actually so easy to do (not master) it's literally just flip diagonally and instantly cancel but only vertically, you don't cancel it completely diagonally, I'm sure with a bit of freeplay practice I can master it in no time (and yes, I'm gold 3, sunless is right, even low ranked players can do it)
The easier way to speed flip is to slightly drift in the opposite direction you want to flip and do a slight diagonal flip in the opposite direction you power slid, what makes this a speed flip is when you boost from right before you hit the jump button to flip, through the flip. But you must NOT boost after your car is right side up, this will plane your car slightly off the ground across the field in-front of you.

The speedflip isnt a mechanic that requires hitting or touching the ball in any way, which is why low ranked players often get good at it before the other difficult mechanics

Halli Linkuru discovered the speed flip, then scrub killa started using it in kickoffs and scrub killa started the whole “fast kickoff” meta that every pro player uses now. Musty had nothing to do with the speed flip
This is the closest thing to a "real" sport in gaming, it's all down to individual talent and practice. Not just pressing a button to do a move for you, like in other sport type games. Reminds me of skating, all these mechanics/tricks coming out named after the players.
that’s debatable. the 9260 has better benchmarks and a better cpu than the nzxt. but in the other hand the nzxt one has a better sleek look to it and is not too far behind in benchmarks.
I know this sounds crazy, but I’m currently a platinum. When I was in gold I heard someone call the speed flip the diagonal flip cancel, and after 3 tries I immediately got it. I can now consistently hit speed flips/speed flip kickoffs

There’s an easier way to do a speed flip by using air roll right or left. When you hold air roll left or right and do a front flip, it turns into a perfect diagonal flip. After that you quickly cancel it and bing boom, speed flip without the super precise joystick movements. Sorry for your pain and suffering. If anyone sees this I hope it helps you.

@EL1TE PICKLE With the instructions above, this should be considerably easier than any air dribble. The method he posted actually makes speed flips by far the easiest mechanic on the list. Maybe still tough at bronze 3, but definitely one to incorporate. I't say it's around the same difficulty as half flips.

@@shockwave9802 Straight down works for me. You're only cancelling the "forward" portion of the diagonal flip, if that makes any sense.

It's not hard to learn (even a full air-roll air dribble is more difficult to do).
You want something that is hard to do ? A reset musty backboard reset, or a ceiling musty reset backboard double touch.

Speed flips are very difficult to understand because alot is happening but after about 30-60 minutes you should be able to do it
Im at champ rank and I cannot air dribble or do most of the fancy things these competetive players do but for me being able to identify whats coming at me has helped me be able to counter it. I hope I'll learn to control as good as a pro one day 🙏

i can agree to thiss video, as a proud gold i remember when i did my first cieling shot it felt so good after weeks of practice the day i managed to do it i screamed louder than the belt whip my dad gave me for screaming that hard but after that it was a pretty easy mechanic in my opinion

If you are in bronze, you should watch Sunless's WYSARL if you haven't already to improve your gamesense and if you want to learn mechanics you should first learn fast aerials and maybe half flips since they are commonly useful.

Quick correction: musty didn’t invent the speed flip. He was the one who started using it to score off kickoff, but it was around before that.

You have to do all this while keeping momentum and air rolling. It takes a while for it to become natural because the movements are pretty weird

The speed flip was actually so easy to do (not master) it's literally just flip diagonally and instantly cancel but only vertically, you don't cancel it completely diagonally, I'm sure with a bit of freeplay practice I can master it in no time (and yes, I'm gold 3, sunless is right, even low ranked players can do it)
The easier way to speed flip is to slightly drift in the opposite direction you want to flip and do a slight diagonal flip in the opposite direction you power slid, what makes this a speed flip is when you boost from right before you hit the jump button to flip, through the flip. But you must NOT boost after your car is right side up, this will plane your car slightly off the ground across the field in-front of you.

The speedflip isnt a mechanic that requires hitting or touching the ball in any way, which is why low ranked players often get good at it before the other difficult mechanics

@@issacmartinez8773 yeah, but the point is still that the one to first find it was linkuru. He had it in his alpha item training pack challenge. Musty found more use for it and popularized it.
Halli Linkuru discovered the speed flip, then scrub killa started using it in kickoffs and scrub killa started the whole “fast kickoff” meta that every pro player uses now. Musty had nothing to do with the speed flip

This is the closest thing to a "real" sport in gaming, it's all down to individual talent and practice. Not just pressing a button to do a move for you, like in other sport type games. Reminds me of skating, all these mechanics/tricks coming out named after the players.

that’s debatable. the 9260 has better benchmarks and a better cpu than the nzxt. but in the other hand the nzxt one has a better sleek look to it and is not too far behind in benchmarks.
I feel like this whole video is gonna be sunless saying this mechanic is near impossible as he hits it second or third try.
I know this sounds crazy, but I’m currently a platinum. When I was in gold I heard someone call the speed flip the diagonal flip cancel, and after 3 tries I immediately got it. I can now consistently hit speed flips/speed flip kickoffs
