    I updated mine and spent approximately 15,000 to get it beautiful and then listed it and got two cash offers immediately - I took the first cash offer. But mine is in perfect condition no problems not a foreclosure and I had paid cash for it myself 10 years ago so no mortgage

    Cash offers can be good also if one needs a quick sale like divorce or estate sale after judgement etc.

    I went to buy a coop in nyc listed $489,000 over 90-days ITS BEEN listed I offered $460,000 CASH the realtor said no $480,000 is lowest cause there was already an offer $480,000 on loan but it was denied & by giving it any lower it brings down the value of the other coops in building …. WTF “ARE THEY TRYING TO SEE IF I CAVE AND PAY ALMOST FULL”…. SERIOUSLY THEY MUST THINK IM STUPID PLEASE WHATS UR ADVICE THERE PLAYING HARDBALL

      @guesswho1937 Be persistent. Remind the seller of your offer every week. If they are overpriced they will eventually come to market value with their price and you will be there.
