Nah. Brawl’s version took a different approach which was more fitting for a fighting game soundtrack. This more relaxing version wouldn’t work as well in brawl. They’re both amazing but they’re trying to accomplish different goals. Also don’t forget the legendary version from tropical freeze

When I first played DKC2, I didn’t get it. I played it and was like “Ok, the music is pretty good, but I think I still prefer the first DKC overall.” Then I got to the first level with this song. *I get it now.*
