    Geeze, I didn't even know there were so much to maintaining a stylish beard. You talked about the condition and hot-shower beard wash, then the oil, then the butter, then you bought on the balm. I was really fascinated cause you could see the difference in the quality of the beard. But I kept thinking, man, if he tells me that I have to give my beard its own email address, I am going face-bald :) On a more serious note, another great presentation. You schooled me. Loved it right thru, bro. Love it right thru!

    Oil is a sealant so ideally it should be applied after any form of moisture aka the butters to seal that moisture in
    Not effective if used on a dry beard as it will just lock in the dryness

      Sugarbear 504 I make my own. Working on getting it out to my bearded brothers soon. Before I stared using my own I used Cremo beard balm. I really enjoyed using the Cremo balm.👊🏽👊🏽

      Thanks! I'm waiting for the video. I use for now only beard oil, the By My Beard, if you know it!

    • @Bthebarber
      @Bthebarber  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      T Rex like after thinking about it a butter would probably be better. The beeswax in a balm is more for holding a bigger beard. You’ll have no problem using the balm, but with a butter your getting just the Shea butter and oils that’s really good for the skin and hair.

      @@Bthebarber Thanks again. I found one, the Angry Norwegian Unscented balm which contains Shea Butter, Beeswax, Lanolin, Jojoba oil and Glyceryl Caprylate. Is it good?

    I have a question for you if you don’t mind. I’ve had my beard growing for a while and I’ve been keeping it roughly just under a fist full if you measure around the chin. As part of my morning routine I’ve been wetting it, towel drying it, adding some oil, combing as gentle as I can but no matter how careful I am I always lose a few long strands each morning. Even when i add conditioner into my beard I have to be highly cautious and I could just lose hairs by touching a place. I feel I’m doing things right and being as gentle as possible, but my hairs are just fragile at this length. I noticed the sides of my beard have become thinner and seem patchier over the last few months but I’m generally a hairy guy so I’ve still got a fullish beard. Please help, are there any things I might be doing wrong and is there any measures I could take to strengthen this beard😅😓

      No, with hot water but I wash my beard with cold water.

    • @Bthebarber
      @Bthebarber  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aibe Dangana really? I’ve alway used hot/warm water on my beard an never had any problems. When you started using cold water did you notice a difference in your beard.

    • @77ibay
      @77ibay 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest it is what I have always used so I can't tell. but it has just been the same and my beard is not as dope as yours yet. I will give warm water a try and see how it goes. Thanks DHyde for responding.
