      Credits are the complements for me. One thing I do battle with my beard is softness. It gets hard I have 4c hair nappy nappy! Type but full. I want to keep it soft throughout the day so I'm not cutting up a pretty face and making ocean noises on the pillow when I turn my head at night 🤣😂.

    I oil my skin and beard with a beard octane oil and place a hot moist wash rag over my face and beard for 1 minute to hydrate. I deep wash twice a month. And cowash twice a week. Beard oil or butter at night. Balm in the morning. Keep up with the split ends and get a kent or chicago company beard comb. Been my routine for many years.

    I am not a black man (middle-eastern decent) and my beard is extremely nappy. My beard gets very dry and rough at times and I don't know what products to use. I tired beard oils but the oil clogs my pores and causes acne and cysts to form. My beard is very nappy; I mean so nappy that some hairs are spiral, some are zigzag, some are curly, etc. I gotta say I do love the attention I get from black women though 😍.
    Nevertheless, What specific products would you recommend for someone with a really, really nappy beard?
    Thank you for making these videos by the way, you're awesome!

    What is your opinion only apply beard oil when beard is damp or can you apply beard oil to a dry beard? I have been using my beard oil when my beard is damp after a shower and sometimes when I don’t shower using a spray bottle to get my beard damp before applying beard oil.

    Life hack; dont use any products for your hair at all and let it come to its natural state. The first weeks will be bad but once your hair gets used to no products it will go back to its natural state. And it looks and feels the best.

      In my routine, wash (depends on how active you are , if you sweat a lot then wash daily,not as active,less sweat, wash every other day)... Use conditioner twice a week.. get out of shower, get beard to where it's 80 percent dry , still damp , add beard oil, wait 5 min to absorb, i usually add heat ( hairdryer with hot n cool setting ) heat plus tension equals direction of beard .. after that I use a balm or beard butter to add more moisturizing to beard , comb with cool setting on hairdryer.

    • @o07tv5
      @o07tv5 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      biore face products . and sheamoisture exfoliation .
      brushing your beard acts as a exfoliant ( prevents ingrown hairs, removes dirt)
      i suggest brushing your beard and exfoliating skin in the am . because your skin repairs itself during the night. so dead skincells are present .
      so it comes down to understanding how the skin works . and products works with your skin .
