Wow! Finally different tutorial than what I usually see. I can't get the bow to be straight with how everyone else does the tie method. So thank you! Do you know if this method leaves red marks on the baby's head?
Thank you! If baby is bald, any headband will leave a mark, but no harm to baby. Just like our socks leave a mark when we take them off, it’s just an indent, but causes no pain.

Thank you! I don’t have any babies, mine are all bigger now, but I’ve not heard any complaints. The materials is soft and if wear the right size, I can’t see how it would.
Beautiful. Can any type of fabric work?
It needs to be a 4-way stretch fabric. Also not to flimsy as the bow won’t look as nice. The other fabrics I know of are ‘scuba’ fabric, or stretch brush velvet which is very pretty. Bullet fabric is more widely available and super cheap.

You can make as big or small as you wish. I would do smaller for tiny babies but this size for ages 6 months and above

No, it’s fine to leave the raw edges.
I'm confused on your measuring of the headband piece. According to the chart for a 3 -6 month baby it says recommended size is 13-14 inches. But you cut yours to 16 inches. Is the extra inches to make up for the scrunch formed when sewing together?
Just watched it back, yes I looked at the chart wrong, I was looking at the head circumference 🙈, so yes mine would in fact fit a child aged 1-3. Luckily this wasn’t for anyone, I was just making it for the tutorial. Sorry for the confusion.
Do you have specific measurements you use for different age groups? Ex newborn, 3-6 month, 619/6-12, etc?
