thank you for this easy to follow tutorial! just waiting on my boards to come in so i can get started (: Can you explain the last part. Where you have to make sure its the right size for the age group. Like how would you measure the headband size if you were making a 0-6 headband?
Hi! So you would want roughly about 15” inches for 3-6 months just for the part that wraps around the head. You also need an additional 18” for the bow part. So roughly 33” total to make a head wrap for that age. So depending on the age you are making it for you would do that sizing plus the 18” for the bow.
It’s super cute but the knot under bow definitely pushes onto the baby’s head. Is there a way to do it so bow is actually on top and just the head wrap is on baby’s head
The fabric we used is pretty soft, so it shouldn't push in to the baby's head unless it too tight. The way this headband is made, you have to have the knot to tie it together.
At the end once completed you measured the 6 inches to make sure it was the correct size for NB. What would they have to measure for all other sizes? My daughter is about to be 7 months. Would they completed how have to measure 7 inches once completed? Do we just add an inch as they grow into the next age gap?
Hi! Each bow will be slightly different based off the size you cut it it. The sizes are in our description on the video for how long. Each size up generally does up 1.5 inches! Hope this helps!!
Hi! Yes the fabric is available on our site. Here's the link! In the video we use our Liverpool option and sized as a strip. :) pipsupply.com/collections/fabric-by-the-yard

You have to make sure its flat under the knot.

it does not have the sizes. can you measure the boards?
So if I wanted to make a big big bow.. do I just add extra length
Yes and you could also add extra width to give it a more full look.
Would your liverpool strip that is precut on your site work for making a 0-6 months headwrap?
Hi! Yes it will work great. :)
@@PIPSupplyCo quick question will I have to cut or measure at all with the liverpool strip or is it just the perfect size for 0-6 months?
@@kellytaylor7041 you will have to cut it down. You should enough fabric left over to make a bow in addition to the head wrap if you are doing 0-6 months.
@@PIPSupplyCo OK perfect!!
Will these go through a washer/dryer (one or both) alright?
They should hold up fine as long as they are done securely. The fabric coloring will stay great without fraying.
@@PIPSupplyCo Wonderful, thanks mate!
Roughly how many newborn wraps can you make with a whole yard of fabric from your website?
With one strip 5” wide can make 1 head wraps plus some bows. So about 7 head wraps with a yard.
Where do l buy the boards?
