Even birds like yours need a cage not for al day but as a safe place to sleep and rest in you can make or buy a flight cage and put toys and perches in there I have 2 that go in there cage by choice and I just leave the door open

Great Idea! Also, Great idea for missing cage floor rack.

I agree that no bird should ever live in a cage that size, but I myself made it for a different reason. A sparrow flew into my cousin’s window and broke her wing. They were using a shoe box as her cage so I made this a temporary cage until she heals her wing or I get her to a vet. Hope you understand :)
