I dont actually think Shidou was saying dont vote me guity in the second trial. He was in the first trial, but he realises that he is needed right now as a doctor, since Mahiru may have not survived to this point without him. He is still disgusted by his own actions and considers himself to be a cold blooded killer (whether he actually is or not), but "there are lives to be saved". He is needed, at least for now.
I think in his second Voice Drama he says that he still wants to be Guilty/Not forgiven, but in his video he states that he wamts to be innocent/Forgiven. Doc is a bro
The Purge March somehow reminded me to scandal about child that got abused by her father and "you know". It feels like the innocent child that can get rid evil with only good things but ended up realize that is naive. Overall my thought is the Purge March is no. 1 follow with Its not my fault
