I’m 78 and am hoping to do my 4th and probably my last trip to Alaska from Texas where I live driving with my dog Truffles in my 2008 Winabago Sprinter RV. If I make it I would love to meet you personally if you are there in August.

Sorry I hit the wrong button.dead-end road.during a thunderstorm one night my dog was sitting on the floor between where I was sleeping and the window(she gets scared in stoms)and new I always talk to her to calm her down.all of a sudden there was a loud Crack of lightning and awoke immediately l was laying on my side with My dog staring me in the face with the lightning shining behind her it scared me at first kind of like some sort of horror story.thats why embers face inspired the memory.i had to have her put down at the end of Sept 2021 thanks again for all the work from the videos I'm sure they do alot for a lot of people.
I love the peacefulness of you and your husband and your trips but it would be nice if you'd tell us where we're going and just like Clyde's house where that was and how you ended up there when you were just in the van and things like that and talking while you guys are together to us not the commentary just talking to us but I just love you guys.

It’s like reading chapters in a book and we don’t want to tell the whole story in the first chapter. The other aspect that makes us unique from others is we film our lives and tell the story later, instead of making it up as we go with a camera on. There isn’t one scripted moment of our videos. So often times, we don’t even consider filming our own conversations. But we do, and we have, we just do our best to keep what you’re seeing as authentic as possible. Hi John. We had added a lot of that info in previous videos about who we are and what we have done before but it is pretty scattered around :). We are planning to do an updated van tour soon since we changed it drastically in the last 6 months.
First of all - love the music. I'm down the road in Indiana (near Chicago) Ranger (my Revel) is in a friends barn right now as I work far too many hours but look forward to hitting the road. The beauty of an Alaskan storm is wonderful. Anywhere there is love, friends, a warm fire, and good food you find home. Looking forward to finding out more. Thanks for sharing. I've learned a lot and will use it as I set out on my adventure. Peace from the heart of winter.

Good to see Clyde using a honda generator I have mine and when no power for weeks works great along with my sprinter diesel onan generator providing power in snow rain fog fires great video
You guys too? Seems like there are a number of Nomads deciding to settle down or at least own a home base. I know of at least five RVers I watched who are now living on a piece of land and a couple have purchased a house as well. I haven’t slept yet from yesterday. I took the wife to the hospital last night and they are keeping her for at least three days. Problems with her kidneys causing heart failure and this all has to do with diabetes. Watching you guys all the way from Holland Landing, Ontario Canada. Hi Ember! Cheers!!!

In Buenos Aires, Argentina, it only snowed in 1918, according to media records; and for the last time in 2007. I remember the amount of snow falling was about 2 fingers. For me the amount of snow that I see in your videos is incredible. Remembering that Alaska is crossed by the Arctic Circle, these climatic phenomena will be repetitive. Happy New Years
Looks like y’all have been having some record snows and wind in Fairbanks area, cording to some other channels I have been seen seeing. I take it that you purchased a piece of property. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it this year.
All across the state we have seen significant storms and record breaking ones at that. We haven’t made a decision yet on some possible future plans but there is a lot to consider. Happy New Year Terry!

Watching from Maine. Happy New Year. Good to see Ember out playing in the snow even though it was cold and windy, ours was certainly waiting for me to take her for a walk in the snowy woods this am early before we got a small amount of freezing rain that turned to rain briefly today (but we made it back inside before it started). Then she got out in it again in the woods mid afternoon. We are going to have about 30 hours of below zero temps or highs in the single digits starting Monday night brrr (though nothing like you have probably been having), won't be worried about the amount of oil being burned just that it keeps cranking!! Travel safe.

Thank you Cynthia and Jim for this video. Alaska is beautiful with snow on the ground. Not fun to drive in. I remember driving in snow and ice in Michigan it’s nit easy in a car maybe a truck or van. Lived in Alaska as a child (Im 55) I still remember snowmen, snowsuits and the sound of the glaciers. I miss the state and its beauty 😊

I remember the amount of snow falling was about 2 fingers.
For me the amount of snow that I see in your videos is incredible.
Remembering that Alaska is crossed by the Arctic Circle, these climatic phenomena will be repetitive.

Looks like y’all have been having some record snows and wind in Fairbanks area, cording to some other channels I have been seen seeing. I take it that you purchased a piece of property. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it this year.
All across the state we have seen significant storms and record breaking ones at that. We haven’t made a decision yet on some possible future plans but there is a lot to consider. Happy New Year Terry!

Good to see Ember out playing in the snow even though it was cold and windy, ours was certainly waiting for me to take her for a walk in the snowy woods this am early before we got a small amount of freezing rain that turned to rain briefly today (but we made it back inside before it started). Then she got out in it again in the woods mid afternoon. We are going to have about 30 hours of below zero temps or highs in the single digits starting Monday night brrr (though nothing like you have probably been having), won't be worried about the amount of oil being burned just that it keeps cranking!! Travel safe.
Definitely keep that heat cranking in those temps. Happy New Year!

@@WingsandWheelsAlaska I'm doing great in sunny and mostly warm Arizona (Mesa). My Revel is also doing well but I have not used it in about 2 weeks. I'm just too busy hiking at Usery Mountain Park, golfing, trap shooting, and relaxing on my patio, etc.
