  • From beaches to waterfalls and small fishing villages, there are plenty of amazing things to do on Koh Kood. The island has some amazing beaches to relax and enjoy the day.
Ao Phrao Beach is the southernmost beach on Koh Kood’s west coast, beyond this the island is a largely inaccessible jungle and rocky shores. Ao Phrao Beach has a wide white sandy beach, and with only four small guesthouses. Here it feels totally secluded from the tourist hub. The northern end of the beach, along the canal, has a small fishing village where you can find some restaurants.
To get to Ao Phrao Beach you will need to take the main road to the far south, then continue around to the east towards Ao Yai Beach on the east coast.
The beach is amazing and you can walk on this perfect white sand and feel like you have the island to yourself.
    Enjoy the video!

This is an amazing white sand beach on Koh Kut. It’s very quite due to being so far south. One of the most popular is Bang Bao Beach. If you want to see it here is a video from there.

We really enjoyed the island. I was always worried about doing the ferry, parking and missing it because of the distance from Bangkok to Trat but it’s really not too bad. We stayed the night in Trat and caught the ferry the next day. I think in the future we will go here instead of Koh Chang. I like Koh Chang a lot but I really liked Koh Kut.

Great place. My wife has land in Cha Am. Planning on building this year. God willing krap🙏🏻 your videos are awsome. We haven’t been to Kho Kut yet but I tell you, every I have been in Thailand is great. No so much into the the busy tourist places. More into places I have seen you at. Have fun and enjoy krap🙏🏻

Glad you enjoy my videos. :) if you get a chance to go to Koh Kut you will really enjoy it. We had a great time there. Probably the best time on any island in 10 years or more. Koh Lanta is another great spot if you like being away from the crowds. I think next year I will do another trip there and combine it with Koh Lipe.

di i need book hotel ahead? or i can find some place when i arrive there?

I would book it before you arrive. This island doesn’t have as much development as places like Koh Chang. The number of rooms is limited. You also arrive on the far side of the island and the hotels have it set up for transportation from the pier to your hotel. I would also make sure I have a ferry ticket ahead of time. We had to stay in Trat one night because the ferries were booked up. There are 4 companies but they all only have either 1 or 2 boats that make a limited number of trips per day. Check out this video if you want to see the ferries. I show how we got there.

I know I said a lot and it might be a bit confusing. It’s really quite easy. I would be safe and have a room in advance.
