  • The period after an interview can be very daunting, sometimes even more so than the interview itself! This is because, the longer we wait for an outcome, the more we question how we performed.
In this video, I explain everything you need to do to perfectly follow up after an interview. I hope you enjoy!
Please like, subscribe and comment your thoughts, I always ensure that I respond in detail to all comments, so ask away with any questions!
More importantly though, have a lovely day!
    EMAIL TEMPLATE:
    Dear (interviewer name),

I am certainly very interested in the role and eagerly await your feedback.
If there is anything you wish for me to explore further, or if you would like clarity on anything mentioned in the interview, please let me know.
    Kind regards

It's not too desperate or "stalky" to follow up, is it?

Hi there, thanks for your comment and great question! I don’t think it is, but there is definitely a line. Following up once or twice, especially if you have invested a significant amount of time in the process, is understandable if you haven’t heard for a long time. It can show as well that you’re invested and keen to develop professionally if you are seeking feedback - an attractive trait for a prospective employer.
I do think there are levels to this, however. Spamming them many times for an answer may irritate the employer as, in most cases, they will have a valid reason for not updating you yet (as mentioned in the vid). It may also get them to question your motivations for wanting to join.
There is definitely merit to following up, just not over doing it! I hope this helps!
