I was Hindu before and I became a Christian after reading Isaiah 53 which made me realise that Jesus is the suffering servant as in Isaiah

You should have read all of Isaiah…not just 1 chapter. Prior to chapter 53 the author says Israel is the suffering servant.

All scholarly translations reflect this difference, over 400 of them in various languages, so they read (in the English equivalent) ‘a god’ or ‘divine’.

The greatest proof of Jesus being the Son of God is when He acts in our own lives. That's when unbelievers cannot ever succeed in turning those that are born again from denying the existence of Jesus as the Son of God.

I am not a scholar nor have the deepest knowledge of the bible, this was revealed to me by Jesus Himself when I was baptized with the Holy Spirt at the age of 15. I wasn’t looking for Him when it happened and quite frankly mocked The Holy Spirit and the speaking of tongues. That day I was in rebellion against God and entered in worship and praise instantly after a brother simply waved his hand by me from 5 or so feet away. It was out of my will, His spirit took over and it was as if a fire was lit under my feet that began to consume me and I began praising and worshiping in Spanish and then to English and back and forth until I myself a mocker of the tongues the the Holy spirit began to speak in tongues. My ears didn’t understand what came out of my mouth nor did I have any control over it yet my spirit could interpret the words. I became such an intense build up that when I reached the apex of the praise, the space I was in ( loud service, many people, lot of noise) became silent and void. I found myself standing in that void and out of nowhere came upon it a presence like no other instantly that fire that I first felt manifested itself before my very eyes. It was a huge fire and bright light all in one and a someone in the midst of it. The Holy Spirt, and the complete and overwhelming power of God immediately consumed me. I felt like a wax candle that had melted away before an intense fire. This someone came before me and’s wrapped me in his arms and all I could say was why? Why Jesus. I wasn’t worthy as I mocked this very thing. By he spoke to me in the most kind and loving way saying. “It is not that you are worthy, it is because you need to know who I AM, you need to know I AM real, Jesus.” As he hugged me I felt a love like no other and though I grew up with out a father and being the desire of my heart to have one, instantly that vacant space in my heart was filled and overfilled. That day when I met God, I didn’t meet 3 or persons, it was One, he was Jesus. Though my physical eyes cannot comprehend his face my spirit did. I had met the One True God and out of Jesus emanated the full power and Glory and Spirit of God. This is why I cannot believe in a trinity, I simply cannot because who traveled into me the mystery of who God is was not man nor his interpretations but by God himself and He is Jesus, the great I Am.

@@huh6486 Jesus is God Incarnate, so the first piece of truth is that Jesus is eternal. He always was, is and always will be. The next piece of truth is that Jesus was the name given to Him when He descended from heaven, entered into the flesh of a human body in the womb of Mary, and was born. When He was born, He was given the name Jesus - "For He shall save His people from their sins". Jesus walked the earth in a human body - fully God and fully man - and Jesus walked the earth after the earthly lifetime of Isaiah. The third piece of truth is that before Jesus walked this earth in a human body, He existed as a spirit. When He existed as a spirit before His time on earth, His name was I AM, or YHWH - He was also known as the Word. In John chapter one - "In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God." So - to answer your question - Jesus existed before Isaiah - but during the time Isaiah was alive on earth - Jesus was called YHWH or LORD.

Thus, when a portion that has been sea bed rises, one finds shells on top of the mountains. One should also note that the large areas of the US south west which are sandstone on the surface, were at one time part of a sea bed.

Why are u following Rome. Please follow JESUS by reading the Bible. If u r new, read the New Testament first. I was a blind Catholic until i was 23. As a Catholic i did not know that my holy book was called the Bible. I did not experience any miracle. I was invited by 3 different people, then a question arose in my mind - is God interested in me ??? I dare say this is not me but i believe this question is given me by Jesus Himself. So i went to the prayer meeting and see for myself the miracles that happened right before my eyes. What can i do but believe. after a couple of months i got saved and took water Baptism at Port Dickson, the first time going there. After baptism, during prayer to receive the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit came upon me like a bolt of lightning and i was on fire. Then, i experienced the peace of Christ, sorry, i can not explain that to u in words. Also i experienced the joy of the Lord Jesus. I am truly born-again. The correct rendering is "in your midst". Jesus was referring to himself as the King of God's Kingdom who was in their presence, NOT inside them.
Those who doubt the truth of Christ, need to read Isaiah Chp 53. This Chapter changed my belief and I now have a unbreakable conviction and know without a doubt Christ is real.

The truth is, Christianity is a 'Love Scam'. The biggest lie is that Jesus died for the sins of mankind. Jesus never died for anyone's sins. He was not on the cross and was not in the grave either. It was not Jesus whose been crucified but his best follower. Day before the arrest, there was a meeting between Jesus and his followers about the search of him by the Romans. One of Jesus' followers volunteered to wear his garment and take his place. Seemed alike, he was then arrested. When asked, he admitted that he was Jesus the King of Jews. After going through judgement, being mocked and tortured he finally ended his life nailed on a cross.
The Roman used to leave the corpse of those whom become a threat or against them without immediate burial as it was for a lesson to the others. Confusion occurs when someone knows a name but unsure of what the person look. After the crucifixion the Romans realized that they had hanged and nailed the wrong person. They decided to immediately take him down and leave the burial place of Jesus empty so it could be a reason that Jesus' body was stolen. It's more reasonable than displaying the wrong corpse. Then Pilate Pontius, the Roman governor of Judea ordered some soldiers to guard the graveyard.
Not long after that Jesus' family including Mary came to visit the tomb to make sure whether it was really Jesus whom been crucified. On the day of the crucifixion, all of Jesus' followers left away from witnessing the event. Mary was there with the other Jews, but she could not see Jesus closely. Upon arrived at the graveyard, they reasoned that it was a custom of the Jews to perfume the recently dead. When they reached the burial place of Jesus, they were surprised to see that there was no body there.
The next day, Jesus returned to the meeting place. Those who did not know that he had been replaced by someone else were shocked. They thought they were seeing spirit or ghost. Jesus denied and asked them for food to eat as to prove that he was really himself and a human like them, not a spirit or a ghost. They were puzzled and not sure of what actually happened. Therefore various assumptions arose. Those who heard that Jesus died on the cross and had been buried saying that Jesus had risen from the grave.

The real mystery is not the trinity but the identity of Jesus' father. The Jew asks Jesus where and who his father is if he is being truthful or else he is a bastard and a liar. Jesus replies, "If you see me then you see father. I am and my father are one and the same". He means that he has no father at all. The Jew gets angry and accuses Jesus of saying he is the son of God which is a blasphemy.
The Jew believes that Jesus has a father but doesn't know who he is. Some say he is the Roman soldier, some say he is Zachary who is responsible for taking care of Mary, some say he is Joseph whom saves Mary for being stoned to death and so on. Jesus never says he is the son of God, it is the Jew who claims it.
The Jew doesn't understand the prophechy of Torah that the messiah will be born of a young girl. A young girl also means a virgin in a Jewish tradition. Mary is 12 years old when she get enggaged with Joseph. The Roman even has no idea and later associating it with their mythology thus creating a trinity concept of a father, son and a holy spirit.
Unlike the Jew whom understand son of God as a blasphemy, the Roman understand son of God as a King which later becoming the actual reason of Jesus crucifixion that is Jesus could becoming a threat to them as he is gaining more and more follower. Paul whom is a bounty hunter then finish up Jesus follower and bring up a new religion which is in contrast to what of the Jew believes.

I am a Roman Catholic I used the Douai Bible, and I just love the book of Isaiah. He was wounded for iniquities. He bruised for our sins. Isaiah, 53 :5. What a loving God would give his life up for us, and this was prophesied hundreds of years before.

53:5 "wounded for our transgressions" vs "wounded FROM our transgressions" (wounded as a result of/because of our transgressions)

First we have to realise that the word “god” is not a name, it is a title that simple means a “mighty one”. In English we have the word god and we give it a capital “G” when we want it to refer to the ultimate “mighty one” in the universe. Just as we use the word president with lower case “p” when speaking of a president, but when we refer to the ultimate president of a country we capitalise the “P”.
In Isaiah 9:6 the words Mighty God are used as part of a longer name.

Careful if someone tries to explain it away as Jesus being the second person of a triune being they call “God”. The Bible never articulates that anywhere.

Get a copy of The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible which gives a comparison of the various texts of the Book of Isaiah (which was the ONLY whole book found - the others are fragments -some only a few words.) I will also refer you to James D. Tabor, Ph.D., at UNC-Charlotte, one of the preeminent biblical scholars.
I repeated what was reported by a video on TV. I don't remember which channel. Does the text say something different than the translation? If so, then what does it say? It can not be a significant difference.

One way to come to believe JESUS is GOD is when you personally confess and receive him in your life and see how your life indeed changes. A practical and real experience. I advise apologetics not to urgue with atheists and Muslims instead pray with them and let Jesus Himself manifests in these people. That will save a lot of unnecessary urguements.
