Yes, PLEASE! 🙏🙏 I am looking for the same thing. I am having issues with the tabs, even though I have bent them down. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for a new subscriber.
I use a bunch of xTool materials and items and generic materials as well. For this, I mostly used their sample pack of materials for the machine and then some items I linked on Amazon.
Can you provide your thoughts on the new air assist vs the old? Is the upgrade likely worth it for a 40W? How do they compare in terms of sound? I'm considering whether I should share an air assist between an S1 and M1 Ultra (swapping back and forth if and when needed) or if upgrading for the S1 and therefore having one for each machine is worth it.
Also, you mentioned leather working projects coming up... I'd love to see what kind of result the foil transfer tip yields on leather, and what settings you land on for that application. My space isn't ready for my M1 Ultra quite yet, but it hopefully should be soon, and it's one of the use cases I'm excited for.
Great introduction video on the machine, but I was expecting it to have a little bias, and it didn't. Of course, i understand you received the machine for free and they want a good review from you, I am a reviewer myself, I really understand it. Yet, you don't mention anything that compares the machine to other machines, like for exaplme (in your title) the Cricut. Almost all Cricuts can cut material with almost infinite size. Just use a roll of material, and you are good to go. Yet, in this machine you can just use what fits the cutting mat, and that's it. True, it does amazing things, and I sure like the machine, but you don't mention anything like this, still you compare it and mention the other machines and brands as well, and that's not an honest comparison. Nevermind... You made a great video, and I really love the XTool M1 Ultra. And your video showed a lot, so still a thumbs up !!!
To be fair, he said that he's never used a Cricut before, so comparing them would be difficult. As a Cricut owner of two of their machines though, I can tell you that they do not cut to almost infinite size. If you're not using their "smart" vinyl you still have to use a matt, and even if you are using the "smart" vinyl you're still limited in width. I didn't catch how large the sheets were for the XTool, but they look larger than the Cricut ones.
I just bought the M1 Ultra but I still haven't gotten my ink module (they were out and I should be getting that in the next week). You mentioned making boxes...do you have files that we can buy from you to store our modules, pens, and the different blades/foil engraver etc? Thank you for this video! Very helpful!
@@carolwaller9605 yes, I would recommend. I’ve laser engraved on stainless steel tumblers (with and without coating), on wood and cut wood, and just used the fine point blade a couple nights ago (cuts like a hot knife through butter). I have not used the inkjet module or the foil embosser. But I love how this machine performs on the 3mm basswood and walnut.
Can it print on shirts directly
Would you be able to make a video more in depth on engraving tumblers specifically the 40oz full wrap?

what about engraving things larger than the machine line a larger cutting board? they wouldn't fit in the riser.

It’s a month since your comment. How have you got on with the M1 ultra, would you recommend?

Use a low tack tape. Most craft stores should have it, or use low tack painters tape
