I've seen that before the face in water. I believe it its the person showing themselves in a different form. The asylum ones are very spooky. Maybe because they suffered alot in these places and the souls are tormented. Great video thanks Julia 👍👍

Thanks GV , the photo was an actual photo I pinched from a book taken by the police , but I've heard of those shape shifters and the aboriginals here think she lures men so it could be she changes forms like some of those other dark mystical creatures , yes I think most asylums are haunted they had such sad history , thanks so much for watching my freind xx

Very late comment here, but the coverage of the Alkimos reminded me of the day when I went to the beach with my cousin to see if the wreck was still visible. There was only a very small piece of the mast or similar, and we certainly weren't going to swim out to see anything. There was definitely an odd vibe, but that could have been us projecting. Weirdly, as we were standing there looking at it we realised that the service on both of our phones had been cut off, switching to no signal. We laughed about it, assuming a coincidence, but we'd had service right up until we started looking at the wreck and talking about it. When we turned away to walk back to the road a few steps in the signal returned. While easily explained away as a random black spot it was enough for us to spook ourselves and start running away. Really enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.

I've lived near the Alkimos for years and years, and my parents still do. You freaked yourself out mate as it's a notorious black spot for mobiles. Us that lived in Yanchep had a great affection for her and despite the stories I can't say I've ever experienced anything weird about her. Incidentally the Claremont serial killer put his last victims body in pippidinny - just up the road from the Alkimos!!

I lived near the Alkimos for years and my parents still do, and it did use to have a black spot for phone coverage. Those of us that lived there had a great affection for that ship and never thought anything of the ghost stories. The Claremont killer chose that area to put his last victims and that freaked us out more than that beautiful old ship ever could. Enjoy your day mate.

@@roygeorge5364 No doubt we freaked ourselves out, haha! Total coincidence, and we still laugh about it. It would also be extremely easy to hide a body anywhere around there - an awful lot of nothing out west.

The Beechworth asylum used to be called 'Mayday Hills Lunatic Asylum', and it is indeed an unsettling place to visit especially with all the tales of brutality that went on there in the 1800's. I went on the nighttime 'Ghost Tour' at Port Arthur and felt absolutely nothing, but it is a genuine relief when you start driving away from Mayday Hills.

Don't mess with ghosts. I saw a ghost. I stared it down. It crashed through a ceiling of a building at a place I worked. The noise was loud. A security guard I was with asked me what was the noise. I said some one left the rear of the building. He later told me the building was haunted. I asked him not to say anything I was a new employee among 500 employees. Later more stories of ghosts at the factory were mentioned.

    • @user-rk6me1ek5t
      @user-rk6me1ek5t 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

5 years later. Another vacant lunch room. Chairs all moving at one. A redundant lunch room. Getting a key and opening up chairs in place . Several times the same noise.
Another, a laboratory technician coming along the corridor to start work hears his chair squeaking. And no doubt his drawer of desk being closed. Years earlier a cleaner had suicided , found hanging in the end cupboard of the hallway.

    • @user-rk6me1ek5t
      @user-rk6me1ek5t 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

I say don't mess with ghosts the one I saw was a human mist shape. The noise was a massive contraction of the building. 3 times louder than normal building noises. As it went through the roof . I saw it go in a northerly direction. Evidence from the security man thought there were more. But mentioned it was a sticky beak. Well others say I forced it out.
I was a police officer in my first job. I had seen others . I live near a grave yard and shrugged them of as waking from sleep and dreaming. Not this time . Bingo, I caught a ghost. And I say potentially dangerous. They are too smart to be caught on If a red. And you might be driving them out. Catch them naturally. But wait for it guys. Only once in a life time !

This is something that has always bothered me.
Why is it that whenever Port Arthur is talked about as a haunted location that the "The Port Arthur Massacre" is never mentioned?
Is it just that nobody thinks that the victims could still be haunting the location of such a horrible tragedy or is it that everyone feels it is disrespectful to talk about the "Massacre"?
Either way, I feel it is silly not to bring up such a historic, albeit incredibly sad, event that changed Australia's gun laws forever as well as a missed opportunity to educate people.
Plus, you aren't giving people the full story.
Are we really saying that nobody believes in the possibility of the victims of the Port Arthur gunman haunting the site of such a tragic loss of life?

    • @cemeteriesdownunder9247
      @cemeteriesdownunder9247  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hello you have a good point and yes there has been sightings of some of the victims in that massacre , Port Aurther was always haunted before that huge tragedy and like any horrible event it would also leave a mark on the place . I guess people refer to its convict hauntings and I was trying to promote thier tours

All good. I didn't mean to imply that it was a bad video. I thought it was great and especially liked how in-depth you went on each location as opposed to the ones that give you a name and a couple of quick anecdotes before moving on.
I only get upset about the Port Arthur thing because I thought it might be a respect thing as the reason people don't bring it up where as I feel it would be MORE disrespectful to forget them entirely.
While I would never mention the name of the deplorable creature that commited said act as he doesn't deserve anymore of Australia's time/attention, I feel that, like true crime videos and podcasts pay respect to the victims by remembering them and making sure that they aren't just forgotten about.
Anyways, great work on the video. I learnt of a few locations I didn't know about, which was nice.
Maybe you could do one on the system of tunnels that lie beneath the city of Sydney.
I've heard a little about the spooky tunnels underneath The Rocks and Potts Point/Darlinghurst areas and would love to see a longer form video on them to maybe learn a bit more. Just a suggestion, though.
Good luck and all the best in your future endeavours.

Which I can understand at the time but Martin Bryant does NOT have internet access so talking about him on TH-cam isn't going to give him any pleasure.
Unless it's in an Australian newspaper, there is no way for him to hear about this.
Do you know what Martin Bryant is doing today? He's a fat, bald guy in maximum security who performs fellatio on his fellow inmates for a block of chocolate.
I think it's now safe to talk about him on the internet again. Also, I'm not suggesting we should talk about him in a positive light.
The reason it should be remembered is because every one of those victims should be remembered.

Booked it so we could all have a drink without worrying about being picked up by RBA. You can stay in the old cells, or family accommodation, the new bit in the same area.
It is a YHA, reasonable prices.

I just discovered this video and I figured I'd leave this comment here
My father had a paranormal experience at Port arthur which I will tell the story of said paranormal experience but before I tell the story I want to say that it has been years since my dad told this story to me in detail so I may get some details wrong and if I do get details wrong I'll put an edit down the bottom
My father was a bus driver at the time we lived in Tasmania and occasionally he would drive the bus for the Port arthur ghost tour so as you can expect he went on the ghost tour tons of times and never experienced anything paranormal until this night on this particular night my dad was at the back of the group taking the tour when the man in front of dad started to complain that he felt like he was being choked my father and the tour guide brought there lanterns closer to see if there was anything on the man who claimed he was being choked and they saw nothing they continue the tour and the man keeps complaining multiple times throughout the tour and every time they pull there lanterns closer to the man and find nothing fast forward to when the tour is over and the tourists are brought back to there hotel where they are staying for the night my father was sharing a room with the man who was being choked when my father and the man get into the room the man takes hid shirt off and my dad was shocked by what he saw he saw red marks all over the man's body the marks where a line that went down his back and his chest to his stomach there were marks all over his shoulder and there where marks around the man's neck that looked like fingers and a hand had been gripping the man's throat now the man was wearing a backpack which could explain why there were marks down the man's back but that doesn't explain how there were marks down his chest, stomach and neck and my father swears that he and the other tourists didn't see any marks on the man's body before the tour began and they only noticed the marks after the tour
Now before I finish this comment I just wanted to say that I do not believe in ghosts and even I find it very difficult to explain this I also wanted to say that I have been to Port arthur myself and experienced nothing and like I said if I get any details wrong I'll edit this comment and if anyone reading this cares enough you can ask me questions and I'll see if I can get answers for you
Edit: as promised I've put this Edit here because I did get some details wrong I apologise
The man in front of dad wasn't complaining about being choked but instead was complaining that someone was hanging on to him (like the man was giving a piggy back) my father didn't go to a hotel they went to the pub that's when they noticed the marks the marks weren't down his back, chest or stomach but on his shoulders and neck and you could see knuckle marks on his neck as if this force pushed there knuckles into the man's neck

I layed carpet in the Junee Homestead in the early 2000’s..
I was laying carpet on the staircase and felt something push through or past me from the top of the stairs..the staircase is not very wide and there was no way anything was able to pass me on the stairs..I also felt slightly nauseous whilst inside the property..
I am not someone who believes in anything supernatural and I was a local at the time..but it was definitely a day I will never forget and definitely cannot explain..

The Alkimos ghost was called ‘Henry’ and the full name was believed to have been ‘Henry Bishop’. The first caretaker was called ‘Wayne Morgan’ who lasted 6 days and heard footsteps, banging sounds, doors opening. Ray Krachaurer was doing work on the ship and encountered ‘Henry’ during the day. Today people dive on the wreck.
Beechworth Asylum - I have been twice. Stayed at the asylum itself the first time in the nurse’s quarters. I have seen sensory equipment going off and a grey apparition moving.
Boggo Road Gaol is currently closed with no idea of when it will reopen.
I have only visited the Fremantle Asylum/Art Centre from the outside. The spirit of a woman seem to be the more constant.
Have been to Monte Cristo twice and seen a few odd things happen.
Quarantine Station Manly. Have seen odd things happen there too. Have been numerous times. Spirits aren’t always active though and hauntings change over time.

Hi , thankyou so much for your comment 😊 I agree Ghosts have no sense of day and night they will turn up when they want to , and sometimes they cross over and not always active , sometimes it's just a particular date or time they are noticed , if you love the paranormal check out my husbands channel Jason ghost Hunter 👻 👽 😊 . imagine diving on the albinos wreck 😳 and seeing Henry , that is one creepy ship

@@cemeteriesdownunder9247 2 small sections of the Alkimos can still be seen about the water. It has a suburb named after it. I contacted the authors son Barry Sue about it and found the medium the show ‘The Extraordinary’ from the 1990’s and spoke with him to, Henry the ghost is believed to have gone. Many of the noises heard on the ship were explainable, however certain sounds could not be explained. The interview with Ray Krackhaurer is very interesting as he was a very experienced seaman and spent time on the Alkimos and explained many things but things still happened and during the day that he could not explain.

Yes, I have had a poltergeist experience more than once, in many places I've lived, where things have taken place. My children and I have seen, felt and heard the experiences. Things were moved or displaced. Breathing, dark figures, rooms going dark, apparitions moving through walls, piano playing and freezing cold spots. Along with this, dark figures of men appearing, swaying back and forth and moans. Footsteps up staircases and cutlery shaking violently in a kitchen hutch. Along with apparitions taking the shape of a friend's boyfriend, shuffling across the room promising to help her, but it wasn't him. A feeling of suffocation and pressure on the chest and darkness hovering over one's body. Oh yes, I've experienced that and much, much more in the many places I have grown up in and lived in as an adult. But I know they are demons, there is no such thing as ghosts. And calling on the name of Jesus makes them leave swiftly. There are spirit beings, but not of those who have died.
The Bible makes it abundantly clear that there are spirit beings, both good and evil. But the Bible negates the idea that the spirits of deceased human beings can remain on earth and 'haunt' the living. Some scriptures to back this up are: Hebrews 9:27 - 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 - Philippians 1:23 - Matthew 25:46 - Luke 1:22-24 The Bible teaches very clearly that there are indeed beings who can connect with and appear in our physical world. The Bible identifies these beings as angels and demons. Angels are spirit beings who are faithful in serving God. Angels are righteous, good, and holy. Demons are fallen angels, angels who rebelled against God. Demons are evil, deceptive, and destructive. According to 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as “angels of light” and as “servants of righteousness.” Appearing as a “ghost” and impersonating a deceased human being definitely seem to be within the power and abilities that demons possess.
The closest biblical example of a “haunting” is found in Mark 5:1-20. A legion of demons possessed a man and used the man to haunt a graveyard. There were no ghosts involved. It was a case of a normal person being controlled by demons to terrorize the people of that area. Demons only seek to “kill, steal, and destroy” (John 10:10). They will do anything within their power to deceive people, to lead people away from God. This is very likely the explanation of “ghostly” activity today. Whether it is called a ghost, a ghoul, or a poltergeist, if there is genuine evil spiritual activity occurring, it is the work of demons.
So, I hear you ask what about the instances in which “ghosts” act in “positive” and the ways psychics who claim to summon the deceased can gain true and useful information from them? Again, it is crucial to remember that the goal of demons is to deceive. If the result is that people trust in a psychic instead of God, a demon will be more than willing to reveal true information. Even good and true information, if from a source with evil motives, can be used to mislead, corrupt, and destroy.
Interest in the paranormal is becoming increasingly common. There are individuals and businesses that claim to be “ghost-hunters,” who for a price will rid your home of ghosts. Psychics, séances, tarot cards, and mediums are increasingly considered normal. Human beings are innately aware of the spiritual world. Sadly, instead of seeking the truth about the spirit world by communing with God and studying His Word, many people allow themselves to be led astray by the spirit world. The demons surely laugh at the spiritual mass-deception that exists in the world today.
Do not be deceived. That is why a lot of people in organised hauntings of places, feel the presence and heaviness surround them. People have also reported being scratched, bitten, hit or pushed by these entities. That is because they are menacing and hate humans. Demons are not friendly and work for their ruler Satan, not the ruler they had in the first instance, God. They followed the wrong master and now they move in torment and hatred towards humans and can trick those that are seeking solace or a word from those who have crossed over, and what they receive may reveal truth about the person's life and who they were or what they wore or liked, but it isn't them, so don't allow yourself to be fooled. When a person dies, their soul lies in a state of 'sleep,' in wait for judgement. It is appointed once for a person to die, and then comes judgement. Hebrews 9:27.
God is the only good and pure spirit that loves each and every one of us and will never bring any malice against us, but because He is a just God He will judge every human being that has lived, lives now and is to come. If we live a life of repentance and righteousness, we pass form judgement to life. For those who practice corruption and live impure lives, they will be judgement before His Great White Throne of Judgement for their deeds and sadly thrown into the lake of fire, along with the devil (Satan and the fallen angels, (demons), who rebelled against God and followed him. Their fate is sealed already, don't let yours be. Repent from your sinful and wicked ways and accept Jesus through the sacrifice He made for you on the cross at Calvary. Only then will you pass from death to life. The will of the Father is for all of us to know and believe on His Son Jesus Christ, for our eternal refuge after we pass from this life to the next. I hope those who read this will do just that, and seek the LORD, while He may be found. Don't wait, because time is not on our side.

Hi PLEASE I WOULD TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR HONESTY (please this is a big serious problem) I moved to WA WHEN I WAS 6 years old. My family have been constantly haunted as long as my memory proceeds me. We have been bitten, punched, scratched, bruised, taps lights on and off. Two little new pets on the same day. Both their heads were crushed by the door as if the wind was travelling at 200 kph. Except it was that day 27 degrees no over cast and perfect weather NO WIND. PARTICULARLY MYSELF HAS BEEN A FAVOURITE TARGET. IVE BEEN LIVING LIKE THIS ON AND OFF FOR 44 years. Please i pretend I can handle everything life offers.
