We are all so blessed in so many ways for having Ms. Ronstadt’s magnificent voice always ringing in our ears and singing in our hearts.🥰❤️💕🌹

Cynthia, it's Lorraine. Merry everything! Hope all is well. Just found this new site and for the last couple of days have seen performances I've never seen or fuller clips. Quality of this one is poor but it's Linda...young, barefoot, giant hoops, and wearing a "tunic" without the leggings.
Loved hearing "I Keep It Hid" again. Wish this show would be released as a live album. And you were THERE!

Linda has more power and emotion in her voice than thousands of singers today. MS took away from her singing voice. But will have TH-cam to thank for seeing her live. This is one of her greatest performances of this tune.

Linda at Radio City Music Hall in early Summer 1996, was in fantastic voice. She lifted the audience up out of their seats that night with every number, including this beautiful Jimmy Webb song.
Because of a job interview I did a couple months later in Northern California, I got to see her again at the Concord Pavilion in Walnut Creek. I took a bus to and from. Her voice seemed a little off that night and I felt she looked a little unhappy. Still, it was a joy to hear her a second time in so short a time. My prior Linda concert was as a kid growing up in Phoenix seeing her at a huge stadium show, the kind she notoriously hated doing.
Linda's songbook is a masterclass for anyone who loves music and/or wants to sing. Her phrasing and voice are extraordinary.
She famously once said "Music rules me. It always has." Maybe that is why her talent and dedication means so much to so many people. She can sing anything, as Dolly Parton has said.

This brings back such a great memory. My daughter and I saw Linda in Columbus, Ohio when she was touring for the CD. Concert was outside, at Beulah Park racetrack. It had poured rain up until an hour of the concert. They dried off the chairs, the temperature was perfect, no wind, no bugs, a perfect night. The concert was mesmerizing. I've seen hundreds of concerts but this was far the best. She is an amazing woman! Love her still!!!

@@lalique512 So glad you're alive and well, Cynthia. Such strange and anxious times, especially for those who have lost loved ones and livelihoods. Old movies and music remain such an escape for me from all the nonsense that can spew from the television.
Enjoying my used CD's I recently bought from ebay: Canciones de Mi Padre, Round Midnight, Winter Light, and Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind. Feels Like Home is on Its way. Been enjoying all the Carole King tributes as Tapestry turns 50. That was one of my very first vinyls. Took my nieces to see "Beautiful" on Broadway for their Christmas gift one year-the music and staging was fabulous. Looking forward to Ms. Ronstadt's 75th this summer. It would be so comforting if she granted an interview (a phone-in one would be fine) to mark the occasion. Just don't want her to live one more day than she can stand.
We're having ourselves a winter this year! Spring will be extra sweet.

I'm an old time LR fan who's been to many of her concerts including this one for her album, Cry Like a Rainstorm. Personally, I think she peaked as a singer during her previous album, Get Closer and this one. She seemed to be in complete control of her voice and singing and the materials were first rate. Would have liked to see and hear her perform Shattered, a real tear jerker of a song.
