    I've played quite a lot (80+ hours) of this game, and I disagree with some of your advice.
    I always feed them on every second day (on odd days except day 1) so they are always neutral or hungry. Letting them go to very hungry actually saves only 1 round of food, but heavily increases the risk of sadness, injuries or sickness. Treating them eats up a lot more resources than just keeping them from getting very hungry in the first place. If they are healthy, you can trade away your medicine and bandages. They are some of the most valuable items, so you will get a lot of resources for them.
    I also try to keep them from ever getting very tired (for the same reasons as above). With 3 people, this is easy to achieve with only one bed (it takes around half a day to get from tired to neutral, so the scavenger and the guard can rest during the day, and the third person sleeps at night). With four or five people you need 2 beds.
    I almost never build a shovel, since if you're effective with your time you don't really need one.
    Boarding up is usually a good idea to do early (but not to early), except if you have Roman. He's such a good guard that he can defend the shelter without it being boarded up (with a knife in the beginning, later with a gun).
    The rest of your advice, I think is good. =)
    Some additional advice I would give is to begin collect water as soon as possible. Try to collect 8 waters a day (putting in a filter in the collector twice a day) and get a large stockpile so you don't have to bother with melting water in the winter and wasting a lot of precious fuel.
    Also, build a hatchet as soon as possible and chop up the furniture in the shelter to get a lot of precious wood (and fuel).
    Also, making moonshine is usually a good way to always have something to barter (and later you can go towards producing alcohol --> bandages --> medicines).
    If you're able, always buy vegetables from the trader when he comes. Making food with vegetables uses a lot less of resources, but they are often scarce and it will be lategame before it's possible for you to produce them yourself.

    Way late to the party but a good habit to get into is leaving a single pile of items in your house uncollected. If you put your most valuable items in the pile its not considered part of your inventory so it cannot be raided at night. This is integral in the Marko solo campaign but can be very useful in all others.

    • @krugersavage6347

      Brain move. This will save me lots. I played just earlier and got raided twice in a row, which cost around 7 food and four meds

  • @kagang8959
    @kagang8959 7 ปีที่แล้ว +129

    Couple of observations
    - sometimes you pick up enough stuff in the house that you can either make a shovel or a bed. I now never make a shovel and hand dig the piles to save the resources. With two characters you can hand dig all the piles in the house, maybe except one on the first night. three characters you can definitely hand dig the piles. Only one or two locations really need a shovel (eg church bandits)
    - totally agree with the boards. Some on the forums say boards early is too soon, but I find without them you get loss from raids
    - food the characters spent 1 day ok, 2 days hungry, then 2 days very hungry. Optimum time to eat is day 5, then 8, then 11 etc. Its possible to feed your characters on cans only if you hit the right locations. Early game thats huge as you can avoid using the resources needed for the cooker for quite a while until you get built up on other things.
    - as a weapon, the hatchet is as powerful as the knife, with the benefit that there are usually 5 items in the house you can break up for wood with the hatchet. You need to upgrade the metal workshop to get the hatchet - but if you see the garage appear as a location, you can go there and trade for one and avoid the upgrade (take a med to trade)
    - early, its important being able to use all your pockets when you go loot. Trouble with taking a crowbar is that it takes up a pocket as you have to bring it back. I tend to take and use the lockpicks on early runs as they self-destruct when used, so you get the extra pocket space when you come back. Debateable - but I always use lockpicks on my early runs now to have that extra pocket on the way back.
    - on the wood, it is indeed tricky as it only stacks to 2, so yes -trade for all the wood you can get, but another reason to get the hatchet as the house yields around 20 or so wood
    Thanks for the vid - helpful for new players.

    • @gouie480
      @gouie480 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kag Ang yeah I quit watching it as soon as he said make a crowbar first day he's expecting me to get enough loot from in the house to not only build the metal Workshop but upgrade it and build a crowbar

    • @lov3masterns
      @lov3masterns 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      YES dude. Exactly. Some great tips nobody mentioned (and what people usually don't know/use). :) The thing with lockpicks is ultra useful for scenarios where you have shitty people to start with, like Anton and Cveta (both have 8 slots of inventory). That's a pro tip right there and it took ages for me to realize that on my own (and getting used to it).
      I personally never had a problem with wood being inefficient to carry. Yes, sometimes you need to get rid of something that is more valuable just to get 2 more wood because that will allow you to build something essential the next day but hey, if you plan in advance and do the math in early game often then you will be all set (probably).
      Something that can help a lot with that is knowing map very well and knowing what you can usually find in what spots (extremely important to learn and memorize layouts and events on maps that can be set differently e.g. Hotel which can have "Bandits", "Scavenger" or "Trader" scenes). It also depends, on some maps, where you will start from (from which side) if it's different layout/scene which can affect your tactics and even equipment you need to carry in order to progress or be effective. Yes RNG exists but most stuff is not RNGed, it's mostly just quantity of items in spots and not the actual items that spawn.

      @@gouie480Not sure why you say that. Have you ever played the game? I have logged over 300 hours and building a metal station & crowbar day one is extremely easy. It does not need to be upgraded to build a crowbar. There is enough stuff in the shelter to build metal stn, crowbar, shovel, 2 lockpicks and a bed. With stuff left over. Basic metal station can build crowbar, lockpick, shovel & knife. Once upgraded to level 2 can also build sawblades (VERY important), AXE (also VERY important) plus fix some (pistol & shotgun) broken weapons and broken Helmet. On day one I always build the basic metal workshop, the crowbar, the shovel & usually a couple of lockpicks to take out. I disagree with buddy in that yes a crowbar may be cheaper but it has to be brought back and thus takes up a valuable slot. Thus the fact that the lockpick is single use is a bonus. Then I usually build a bed. This is with 2 characters my usual start. Mind you with 2 characters a bed can be put off till day 2 as one will scavenge one will guard. Day 2 I build a stove and usually a water collector. Upgrading the metal shop is IMO way more crucial then UG the main workshop/ Why? AXE & Sawblade obv.

    @damp, great video, i have lot's of hours spent on this game as well. Here is one vital tip that you missed or you didn't know about. Once you enter (any location) and you come across to the closest pile of loot (doesn't matter which kind of loot), don't loot it, keep going further, loot other piles and once you are full, go back to the first pile and stock up all the items to the one pile which is closest to the exit. The amount you can stock is unlimited, this way you will save your time from running across the map gathering everything. Why run around when you can stack absolutely everything in the same pile which is closest to the exit. I hope it helps. Good luck.

  • @oddsandendsrule
    @oddsandendsrule 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Survived (not sure if there's such a thing as 'winning') on my second playthrough, and didn't have to kill anyone (was sad that there wasn't an achievement for that!) Some thoughts:
    - Decide early what you what to 'specialize' in. You aren't going to be able to do everything (upgraded weapons, homemade meds, moonshine factory, upgraded stove, etc.) I fully upgraded my workshop to get access to boards, a reinforced door, water-collector, traps, and a garden (and eventually an upgraded garden). This made my house pretty self-sustaining - supplemented with bartering away all the extra stuff, I'd get a few free meals every few days from my traps (and eventually garden), with looters dissuaded by our sick defenses and a few spare bullets. But you could also probably specialize in booze-making and trade for a lot of your supplies, as 91Alixana mentioned below. Or you can have very efficient appliances so that you don't need to use as much wood/water. Strategize and specialize, and you won't waste resources on builds you don't need.
    - Near the end of the day, take a quick stock of what you are missing to build your next milestone (e.g. I had to save up for ages to reinforce my door, and upgrading the garden late in the game when all the easy materials were gone was even harder) - the last thing you want to do is bring back 20 wood when you were actually 2 basic materials short of building a heater.
    - If you can - don't fight. It's not worth the wounds. You can find or trade for what you need, 9 times out of 10. Weapons - especially guns and bullets - should stay at home to defend from looters.
    - Don't bother with a knife - trade it away if you get one. Go for the hatchet - even if you do need to fight, it outclasses the knife. Plus, free wood and kindling when you chop furniture.
    - The heater burns warmest when there's 6 fuel in it. I didn't realize this for a few days and some of my folks got sick.
    - Read the location descriptions; a "Danger" location can actually be really safe, as long as you toe the line (e.g. if the description mentions "this house is owned by a well-armed couple, but they are happy to trade").
    - Send someone expendable on the first run - if it's a super-dangerous location (as per the description above), send them empty-handed so that their death isn't as destructive and scout out the obstacles; if it's not as risky, send them in armed with a shovel, crowbar, and hatchet; then, as mentioned in the video, clear all doors, break down all furniture, and dig all rubble; bring back whatever you can (obviously). Wait 'till the next run to send someone with a large inventory space to really go through the loot - they'll be well rested since you didn't send them out the night before, and can even visit two nights in a row. If someone at the location will trade with you, run some of the junk to them and 'condense' it by trading it for items you will actually use
    - Keeping folks well-rested should be pretty easy once you've boarded up the shelter - two can sleep, one can scavenge. Before you've boarded and reinforced the door, keep one awake to guard if you can. My logic is - a lot of the modifiers - sick, hungry, wounded, depressed - can happen just due to bad luck, but 'tired' is relatively easy to keep at bay. And keeping everyone rested gives you the flexibility to pull an all-nighter helping the neighbour if they randomly show up. (On that note - as damp said - help them always. It's good for morale, and you get good windfalls)
    - A few books, random acts of kindness, and a guitar if you find it are cheaper ways to keep your people happy than cigarettes. By the end of the game, I was trading away all my cigarettes, but nobody was sad.
    - For other modifiers, in general try to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. My folks were "Hungry" almost all the time, but anyone Wounded (or worse) and Sick (or worse) would usually visit the hospital... in case you didn't see: the doc there will patch you up for free. And if you donate to the hospital, it's a relatively cheap morale boost, while you are there.
    - Build a radio fast. It's cheap and you get good hints (e.g. 'it's going to be cold'... 'coffee prices are skyrocketing'... 'the peace corps are on their way')

    Letting a character become Very Hungry or Very Tired can make him/her sick or sad, so it's better to *not* let that happen. Instead, feed characters every two days and make them sleep as soon as possible. They will wake up after about 6 hours and you will have plenty of time left to do other stuff.
    Also, Slightly Wounded could take *a lot* to heal if you don't bandage, even if the character rests. It's random, so you have to get lucky. Slightly Sick instead usually goes away pretty quickly if the character rests and the house temperature is high enough, so don't waste herbal medicines on that.

    Out of all the conflicted guides I've looked at for this game, this is the guide that has helped me get through the farthest at the moment.
    I've also found that even in some locations that are guarded by civilians, there are some containers that count at not stealing, so sneak and look carefully for non-stealing containers.
    I also found it useful to get a survivor fed (not well fed, that's a waste) and in bed if they are dealing with minor wounds and sickness.
    But yes, a lot of people agree on making the survivors endure a little bit of hunger and sleep deprivation if they're healthy and that's helped me conserve resources.

    This game is crazy hard. It's so unpredictable, one game I had all the boards up and door reinforced, plus two people on guard that night, and they both got severely wounded during a raid. Another game I was clearing out the right hand side of the church map and then out of nowhere the guy with the gun who tells you not to be afraid of him (who never attacked me in any previous games and hadn't attacked me the two previous nights) shoots and kills Katia for no reason whatsoever.

    Another random pro tip:
    Don't ever let your tools break. Save them even if they have more than 1 use left and trade them in (because you will always profit) rather than let them break unless you absolutely don't have enough materials to make a new one in the near future (next 2 days) or if you absolutely need that 1 more space to haul back something that is essential/life saving for you at that specific moment.

  • @Cacowninja

    I've haven't quite beat the game yet (I've gotten to day 25 or something on the PS4 trial, and day 11 on the full game pc port which I just bought) but I have tips for how to play too for how far I managed to get.
    1. Gather all the resources at your base. You've got some decent things to start out with.
    2. Upgrade your wood and metal work benches as much/fast/early as you can. You'll be able to built things like stoves and heaters with the wood work bench and guns and tools with the metal work bench if upgraded to level 2 at least. Really helps out. I managed to upgrade both fully.
    3. Scavenge at places like the abandoned cottage multiple times! There are no people there (so you don't have to worry about enemies) and a lot of resources like materials and food. Bring a crowbar and a shovel there to get past some rubble and some locks.
    4. Related to No. 3 make a shovel, crowbar, hatchet and knife as soon as you can! You'll need the weapons to stay at your base for your survivors to use when guarding it from raiders! The shovel is for digging past rubble, the crowbar gets you past locks multiple times, the hatchet allows you to get scrap wood and fuel by chopping things such as cabinets and furniture and the knife is just a weapon.
    5. Make beds for each of your survivors as fast/early as you can! They need the sleep! Make sure you have them sleep as much as possible whenever they don't have anything to do.
    6. Have every remaining survivor be on guard while you scavenge and make sure they each have at least 1 weapon. Survivors on guard automatically arm themselves with any weapon you have at the base so leave a least as many weapons behind as there are survivors.
    7. Help people who come to the door for it as much as you can. If you refuse or even ignore them your survivors will get sad. I unfortunately had to turn down 2 children asking for medication for their sick mother since I didn't have any. But I was able to help with other stuff like boarding up someone's house.
    8. Make a stove as soon as you can! It'll increase the among of hunger that is reduced when your survivors eat. Also keep your survivors fed as well as you can!
    9. Board up as much as your base as you can! It reduces the success of a raid!
    10. DON'T STEAL. It'll reduced your survivors happiness as well as provoke people to attacking you!
    11. Get a gun and ammo or weapon and ammo scraps (including gun powder) as soon as you can! It'll help protect your base from raids and can come in handy when scavenging.
    12. Heal slightly sick survivors without medicine by having them sleep instead.
    That's all I have for now, I'll try to add more later!

    Hey I am just posting this to share.For those of you who just want to kill and loot without incurring the emotional penalties.Here was how I done it.
    1)Find a weapon (preferably a shotgun coz if close one hit kill)
    2)Raid the military outpost as in kill everybody.This toughens up your survivors.
    3)Raid the brothel,killing the guards and loot the place.
    4)After you did the two above things,you should be able to raid/loot and kill innocent people freely without any negative emotional setbacks(meaning you don't have to waste time or resources trying to help the depressed survivors.)
    I did it and my survivors as in all of them reason along the lines of "its either us or them".
    Usually they all get deppressed if I start hurting innocent people.

    One occasion where I'd take a lockpick instead of the crowbar is if I already know that there's only one door/wardrobe I need to open. The lockpick breaks after usage so it basically frees up an extra inventory slot. Also the crowbar (as well s the hatchet) is also considered a weapon which provides a benefits to the guys guarding the shelter if left at home if there's a weapons shortage. Nice content, I like your taste in games, found your channel through your latest darkest dungeons video.

      best place to get lockpicks & sawblades is by robbing the container at the garage in the basement. You need one SB and one LP 1st time you go after that you are gtg. Just leave at least one item in last container on far right. To kick it up a notch do another exploit (my idea) where you LET THEM SEE YOU in the basement. While they come to search for you just rob the 2 containers in the 2nd room in. Store all your loot on the roof and you can have full stacks of whatever you want!!! (including LPs and SBs plus shovels, axes and crowbars! )

    I've been doing very well in this game even beaten some scenarios that start you in winter. and honestly I have one huge tip for anyone looking to win easily. always take over the warehouse as soon as you can, that place should easily keep you going with food and materials and weapon parts for at least 8 days of food for 3 people I think. it doesnt win you the game on its own, but you dont get penalized for killing the bandits or stealing cause they are evil people. same applies to the airport, military outpost, brothel, and most military and bandit scenarios. the only "evil" scenario you cant kill the people on is the crazy girls for the semi detached house, they arent technically evil people.

    @Fenris Zevran: Somehow i can't reply on your post, so i hope you will see this anyway. I can answer a few of your questions.
    Combat: My tip to you is to not engage an enemy directly. I had most success killing from hideouts (The dark places you can hide). Then have a melee weapon ready. Be patient and find a hiding spot where you have observed your enemy's walking path is. When the person walks by, you can perform a sneak attack which kills him/her instantly. Don't forget to switch to combat mode. Also.. try to get as many resources without stealing or killing as this will make your survivors sad/broken etc.
    Upgrading: Not all upgrades are valuable. I haven't personally had any success with the gardening or moonshine. In my min they are not essential enough, because you can easily find food many other places. Three things i find very essential is to upgrade your heating oven (uses less wood and heats more efficiently), your stove (less water usage) and your workshops/stations. Also 2 traps will help you a lot on providing food. Remember to use the fertilizer thingie instead of food (if possible).

    I just wanted to add: In comparison to the crowbar -> lockpicking is more silent and faster. if u play with the silent-girl (forgot her name) its pretty good going for lockpick instead of jamming everything open imho. went thru some locations w/o being seen this way

    • @dampsYouTube
      @dampsYouTube  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Counterpoint: Lockpicks are tough to find and expensive to trade for. However, you are correct in that they are stronger than crowbar in both speed and noise.

    • @WeiterHimmel05
      @WeiterHimmel05 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      true. still viable imho, if u try to be the silent scavenger. I did this one playthru, and it was fun ;)

      WeiterHimmel05 Arica. she's the master of stealth and crowbar or lockpicks is her favorite tools cause she makes less noises with them. just don't use the hatchet on wood if you're in an area with enemies cause that makes noises

    • @TvKAmazing
      @TvKAmazing 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Usually I just trade away my initial lockpicks for extra components/wood. I bring a crowbar/shovel/saw blade to every single location I go to, and before anything else, I run through the place and clear all debris and open all barricaded/locked doors. Once that is done, I usually trade those tools away too. I don't find lockpicks too necessary to have for looting because I prefer to just use the hiding spots to ambush passing enemies and killing everyone in the building, making a crowbar perfectly ok.

    My characters get depressed when having to steal from other people, especially Boris who is one of my favourite characters for his strength and inventory space. However getting his mood to posotive can be difficult and often ends in a bad scenario after the war he gets into a drunken alteration and dies. I'm intrigued to know if you could steal and replace things would that increase mental mood or wouldn't it matter as the game would not recognise you've done a good deed. I've often collected enough food stolen from the church over days I just keep going back for their supplys and could easily come back and give half back because the characters often say things like "How could (name) leave so little for those people".

    @Damp: I had issues with feeding my survivors too much in the beginning as well. You argue that you should wait until they are very hungry. I think it is more important to keep them happy, and i also don't think that you will gain a big advantage from waiting that long, as they will need extra food in order not to be hungry anymore. Instead i synchronize their hunger, which means that i feed everyone every second day. This way they only need 1 meal each every second day. Another tip for your viewers could be to cook all your food if possible, because invaders can only steal from the fridge, and not the stove. So that way you will save a lot of food from being stolen.

    • @dampsYouTube
      @dampsYouTube  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stefus87 Ive tried that also and I guess I would say it depends on the scenario and who you have....I have never run into issues with people getting sad...and I never try and completely make them happy. I make it more about survival than living in a life of luxury I guess lol. The cooking on the stove I completely agree with. I try and cook food every day if I can. Good tip.

    • @Stefus87
      @Stefus87 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      damp's TH-cam Of course there can be situations where it isn't important to feed them every day. In my example i forgot to add that if they are already broken/sad, it's just another negative thing on top of that to starve them. Also sometimes i get survivors that i don't find valuable enough to prioritize food for, and i simply starve them to death in order to get another survivor with the skills i find valuable (just call me sinister..)

    Honestly, the big part of the game is not knowing how to play and making extremely tough desicions. Someone in your house is dying, so you have to steal from innocent people to get supplies. Do you do it? Who do you think should go hungry if there is not enough food? Do you prioritize survival of the strongest members who raise your odds, or do you care about the elderly and children? Do you risk potentially getting shot by a sniper or soldiers to go get that medicine your kid needs?
    The feeling of true desperation shines best when youre not a pro at this game. My first playthrough I had to stop playing because it was too heartbreaking. It wouldnt be too memorable if I did everything optimally and never had to make a hard choice

    I would say stealing is the best thing you can do! Just build a radio and have your character listen to it everyday in between your murderous rages. I went to the military camp, bought bullets off the guy and a gun, went upstairs when the trade guy left, stabbed the guy on the spotlight, and shot each of the guys as they came up. Now I just go there whenever I want loot and I am really happy.

  • @hungoverpanda2553

  • @civbuilder7352
    @civbuilder7352 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Assault rifles/shotguns have their place in the game. It's messy only if there are innocent civilians involved. But if you need to clear areas like the military outpost, you need guns to defend yourself, use the loud gunfire to attract the guards and take them out one at a time. They are a good complement with the knife. If possible, take out the snipers at the construction site to get the scoped assault rifle, which combines the assault rifle's range with the power of the shotgun. I won't go further into both scenarios to avoid spoiling them.

    you can infact loot the startbase in the video entirely without a shovel and have 3 people. You most likely will need a crowbar unless you get lucky and find a load of lockpicks.
    Making a bed instead of a shovel is always nice.
    If you do have Marko, make sure you loot every single pile with him, he will give you more things.

    Further questions I have: At what time do people stop visiting so you can just end the day? Combat hints (cause I keep dying!)? How worth it is upgrading all of your equipment, or should you not bother? Is it beneficial to create the herbal workshop, garden, moonshine and alcohol stuff, or better to just focus on upgrading the other items?

    • @91Alixana
      @91Alixana 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Mellie FZ At around 1 pm it's safe to end the day.
      I'm bad at combat to. If you want, if you die, you can quickly end the game before it saves. You will have to do the whole day over, but at least you're not dead. Though, you might feel that this i cheating. =)
      Try to have a plan for what you're upgrading. I've found building to produce moonshine --> alcohol --> bandages (--> medicine) is a great way to go if you want to trade a lot.
      The stove is good to upgrade cause you will use it a lot.
      Edit
      Oops, 6 months old post. You've probably got it all figured out by now. =)

    Spoiler: Reading this will make the game very easy to beat. You were warned. My formula, first day make the shovel and crowbar first two items from the metal workshop and a bed or two, that night scavenge only wood and components grabbing more of whichever you need more of, day 2 upgrade the metal workshop as you will want to make an ax the next day and make a second bed if you were short of materials the first day (the advantage of two beds is you can end days around 10:00AM and have everyone still well rested otherwise you can juggle three people around one bed, but I'm lazy), second night bring back the most value you can since you can trade it for many more stacks of wood/components then you can carry (herbal meds are great for this, but full stacks of sugar, tobacco, toys etc are also good). Use the materials you trade for to make a stove and upgrade it...makes cooking much more efficient. By day three you should have either looted or traded for enough pistol parts to make an ax. Use the ax to chop down the five cabinets in your base and get enough wood to board up most, or all of the house (probably will take another night to upgrade the appropriate workbench). At this point you have pretty much beaten the game and it's only Day 4 if you are on normal mode. For food, feed everyone every other day starting Day 3. Easy to remember, if it's an odd day feed people. For rest, scavenger should hit the sack first thing upon returning as should the guard, then the person who slept can build/trade/help neighbors. If needed the scavenger and guard will wake up around 11. Alternatively you can have them active in the morning, but as long as you let them hit a bed by 2 they should get enough sleep to be completely rested for that night. Why you would keep people very tired when it's so easy to have them well rested is a mystery to me because there are drawbacks to being very tired. For combat scavenge missions just realize virtually every character can kill from ambush with the ax, use sound to draw people to where you are hiding (works best if you can run above or below them), and wait until the symbol on the character changes, attack them and bam they die. Around day 5 you will want to start building animal traps, a radio, and water catcher. Just keep collecting until you have two traps (max), one water catcher and radio. After that you can make a heater if needed or mess around with the other workstations, but by this point you should have reinforced your door making raids a non-issue.
    I'm hoping they make combat a little tougher at some point and have enough variance that you cant just do one cookie cutter build and win so easily.

    I just got the game not 6 hours ago (the little ones) on PS4... literally stopped playing because it was too depressing. I know that was mainly my fault because I never played before and was just overwhelmed worrying about hunger and sickness. My only play through I got thru to 9 days OK.. And then Pavel got killed... I had to stop, it was to gloomy to have to go back and boost moral from that point on. I'll have to give it another try... So thanks for the vid, it should help. I need to learn how to secure doors and windows, which is something I did not know could be done. There's no real tutorial with the game, I DL thru the PSN and pretty much was on my own. I'm sure there's a Wiki- out there but glad you have the vids man, Thnx (Sub/Like)

      +Ntwa-dumela Same happens to me. Everytime one character die, I restart... can't handle it :( but play it until the end with everyone alive. It's worth it.

      You guys are fucking pussies... the dark feeling of the game is what makes it amazing.

      Jay GMC whoa whoa... no need for the ad hominum. Of course the dark feeling adds to the game but if you don't find it a bit sad or depressing when one of the characters die, then what does that say about you?
