Sam, that was very sweet to make something special for Angela. Thank you for having a great Mother's Day idea early enough for place your order now....:)
Sam hang the key to the new tractor on the dipstick. That way while you are retrieving the key you can remember to check the oil every time before you operate it. Just a quick tip to keep an eye on the life blood of the engine... PS. Love your youtube channel...
You do know that Rose of Sharon multiply right? We started out with 3 when we lived in the trailer park and when we moved here almost 20 years ago we had about 15. We brought 4 with us to this house and now we have about 30. One even migrated about 30 yards from where we planted them and is growing at the corner of the neighbor's house. Ours are a dark-ish pink. I also brought my blood red rose bush we had at the park. I used to cut flowers off it and take them to my momma in the nursing home. She's been gone almost 20 years now but when it blooms it reminds me of her. As for getting old, hubby turned 69 in Jan. and I turned 66 last week Saturday. We are definitely feeling our age especially with our friend Arthur(itis). Can't wait to see your garden bloom.
I am so happy for you Angela. Putting down roots {literally} I know you must have been so anxious to to this. Well done grasshopper. Additionally having your men folk help you is a bonus. It makes such a difference in your home.
I think painting your trailer would make it look great. I know you want to add new siding but painting until you could afford siding would be a great option.
Just a tip...use a torch to cut your landscape fabric. It will stop the ends from fraying. As I stare outside at it snowing, I am planning for May where I live.
We all know Sam's ocd will lead him to make another flower bed for the other side of the house. Pine straw makes a beautiful mulch for a lot less money. Kudos to the boys! Everything is looking like spring! Big hugs! ☮️💖🙏🇺🇲
Flowers seem to be the first things planted after fruit trees. All the "new" homesteads have done this, after building or moving to a new property. It should look wonderful once they fill in a little and bloom. Congratulations Angela! Thank you to the boys & Sam for your help.
Wow! Soap sales and youbtube income must be pretty good! I'm also glad yall have a little grass yard. There is nothing better than owning your own home debt free and wowing your own yard on a nice sunny day! 🌞
I know how you feel Angela i am a garden flower type of woman it brings me joy!! And vegetable!! I have a tight budget I put just square bricks around outside edge keeps your mulch from washing away only about .58 a piece! Looks great!! I can't wait are you going to have a vegetable garden? Thank you for sharing!! Bless you!!
These things make a house a home and like I always tell my husband "looks like these people love one another". Oh man, don't forget, you got to use that wonderful tractor!!!!
This was just a totally wonderful video. The boys helping with the mulch was just so sweet. And how bout that water boy! Sam getting to put the tractor to work. Angela getting to plant her keepsake peonies and daylillies. Doesn't fresh mulch just make everything look so good? I'm looking forward to seeing those plant stakes on your website. That's just the coolest idea for your laser. Thanks guys this one was really great!
Quick tip for everyone if you have a pickup or a trailer go to a landscaping yard dirt and mulch is real cheap. I think it was $30 (Canadian) for a bucket load and that filled my truck bed
Good morning Sam and Angela! I love the flower bed and the big blessing....family made!! Don't you just love when they reach the age of, "can you grab this and don't forget that!"!?😊😆 Homestead is looking so beautiful!!! Looking forward to the next visit! Hope y'all have an awesomely blessed day and week!! P.S. Didn't mean to make y'all last but visited and chatted with the community y'all have built around you, while y'all are having coffee and getting ready for your day! You have a wonderful group of people and sure we are all equally happy to see y'all doing SOOOOO GREAT!! 💖🤗💖
Angela, I’m super excited for you! I’m sure it will look beautiful. Sam, my husband was green with envy over y’all’s new tractor: he said he’s keeping that thing looking spiffy! The boys are growing so fast, 2 little gentlemen!
Love the the shape of the flower bed. It’s beautiful. Bringing flowers with you warmed my heart. Can’t wait to see it later this season.❤❤ Those boys are becoming young men so fast.
Aww; Angela; it looks wonderful. Thank you Sam for being such a sweetheart. I love watching children chip in and help. So cute. See you guys next time. Can't wait to check out those plant steaks.
Here in north Texas we have some plant sprouting. It’s so exciting to see the peonies and hostas and geraniums and everything else pretty showing off their new shoots. What can I say I’m a garden geek and proud of it. God has made these things to enjoy.
The boys look like they've grown a foot this winter! Wow! One thing I've noticed over the years....as I get older the ground gets lower. The new garden is going to be soooo pretty. You've planted some of my very favorites. So glad you managed to bring some plantings from NC. My grandmother brought many of her plants from the places she loved to here...and though she's been gone these many decades they still pop their heads up and bloom every season. Her Johnny Jump Up's, Prim Roses and Daffodils sprout up like wildflowers all over our place. :)
Suggestion, my first garden I kind of put together without a plastic edging and it was a mistake as grass grew into everything so when we moved to our new home I bit the bullet and bought the edging and the long pins to keep the edging down it wasn’t that hard you just follow the directions and it has kept the grass out of my flower beds ( for 25 years so far) and was easy to edge with a weed whip. My suggestion to get you a roll of heavy duty edging and install it now while everything is new and it makes it look so finished. My DIY project of our move in!!
Good morning Deborah! That's a bedlife saving idea!! Curious what area you're from🤔 I've only heard one other person use the term "weed whip". Absolutely no pun attended and if you heard my "country draw", you know I'm sincere!(it's strong😊) Hope you have an awesomely blessed day!!
Charlene and Debbie-I’m from Northern Michigan and a “weed whip” may be an abbreviation of a Weed Trimmer with the plastic string that chops you grass and weeds down. Thought that expression was used everywhere, just learned something new today both of us!!
So happy for you Angela. I want alll the flowers! 🌺☀️🌷🌻🌸 And Sam, I love how you love your wife and family. Those plant markers are awesome. I want a bunch of those, too! 🌼🌹🪷 Live you guys and your channel 😘❤️
So Happy for You Angela, for the 1st Flower Bed in TN...It does Dress Up the Front of A home to Be able to Landscape. The flowers & bushes will be SO lovely. Sam & Boys You All Worked Hard too. I know it is ruff back work... wish I could still do. Miss gardening!! God Bless..
I'm sure that when you are all finished and able to move all the birds into the house it will be very nice. Another project that you should be very proud of and it will be one less thing on the to do list 👏👏👏
Issac is such a little Sam! Except Issac is adorable. Just kidding, Sam. You're adorable too. Angela, you've given me the inspiration to try that at the front of our double wide. You've all worked so hard to make your home look great - good job!
Do the markers last from year/year? They are beautiful! Tulips, my favorite. Wow yoyr place is coming along. Can we have another home tour soon? I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND FAMILY. ❤️ 💕 PRAYERS AS WELL
Angela, I know how excited a person can get when you’re putting in a flower 🌺 bed! Still too cold here in Ohio, but I’m itching to get out and play in the dirt and mulch! Looks great!
Give that Massey a little bit more time after starting before revving it up that high. My dealer said to give mine a minute or so. Unless the newest versions don't need it then I stand corrected.
Oh Sam!!! Every time you leaned forward I cringed thinking of your poor knees. If I do that it hurts and that can last for days. Oddly satisfying to watch you put in your cardboard and mulch. I'm longing to do that to a new section at the front and side of our house. Hubby doesn't quite like the cardboard idea but it makes it cheaper and also breaks down to improve the soil. Your flower area is going to look awesome. The boys are maturing, so nice to see them joining in. They'll be strong young men sooner than you can blink! Blessings to you.
Looks great! Awesome for this girl from Maine, still living in this Winter Wonderland, to see green grass and hear those birds! Especially today - we are expecting another 6 to 10" of snow today! My heart is so ready for Spring..... but I can enjoy it vicariously through you, for the moment. Come May I'll be able to get out there. Need to plant some seeds to sprout first, will probably do that soon..... Enjoy your flowerbed! So fun to watch y'all working together on it. 😊
Good morning Renee! I'm about an hour and a half(guesstimating) from Sam and Angela. Bless their hearts, they may make a video of them covering their beds because we are having a week and maybe longer, of frost!! But knowing these 2 like I do, they got it covered!! Lol! Have a blessed day and stay warm and cozy!
The birds sound like they were cheering you on loudly…the boys did great lifting those bags! Wow!! The rock you put down on your last video looks awesome, great work! Say, how did the fruit trees you planted doing? I haven’t heard you talk about them…mulch sure does make a big impact wherever it is put and I’m looking forward to seeing your garden grow. Take care and be safe. ❤
Are you still early spring enough to divide bulbs tubers, etc....? Something someone i knew did when they first got thier house did, is post in a couple of community Facebook pages that they would be willing to divide other's bulbs et al, in thier yards as long as they got some of the plants and all of the discards. They did get a bit of a varied collection and created a "nursery garden" which was simply an area they first planted thier goodies in, tended (watered, weeded sort of, kiss of fertilizer) better than most of the rest of the yard, then transplated in vignette style garden spots as they were created and also in the fall. They did well all, considered and especially with the shrubs they ended up with too. At today's prices for gallon pots of garden center plants, one could do very well. - Dint disregard the power of clumps of chives alllwed to flower as ornamentals too.
Love it! You will never have enough mulch, not only does it break down but you will decide you need a garden over here and over there and a path between the two. It is always a work in prigress🤗. I too have peonies, day lilies and hydrangeas. Good old fashioned easy to care for plants. You are so lucky to have so much sun and warmth. I live in the woods up north and it's hard to find nooks and crannies for sun loving plants. I hope shade trees are on you list. One for each of you🤗. You all have done such a good job building your new homestead. I enjoy watching the progress.
Y’all should look into getting a truck load of dirt delivered . Much cheaper . I also think monkey grass or lavender planted at the edge of the beds will add color and a nice smell (lavender) . It will help with erosion of the mulch, bring beneficial bugs and bees to your garden as well. Beautiful job and I love how your family works so well together . Always my dream to go after what y’all are accomplishing. Blessings in your future and may all you dream for come to you!! You are truly blessed .
Love that you got your flower bed Angela. I'm envious. I've yet to have that pleasure and so I kind of gave it up. LOL I love garden and beautiful flowers growing and I have gotten tons to plant thru the years but it's a lot to do alone and time is a priority to be spent on the machinery around here..LOL......not my priority but it is a priority. I am so happy for you both about the Massey .........everyone having any size of property needs a machine to haul and lift and plow and dig with.........truly they do. Just like Doug and Ash got their excavator I am so happy for them to have that. The work you guys can do with those machines will save you and the girls can have the yards they wish and gardens without breaking your backs! Kudos and so thrilled. Your home place is looking wonderful and I can't wait to see the plants when they start to bloom. I did get a purple lilac a couple years ago and the smell is amazing when in bloom. It's only aobut five foot tall now but has been adding branches etc each year and I hope to be able to cut a bouquet this year and bring it inside. So easy to grow and they take the sun!!! :-) Blessings........have a great rest of your week.
I love the soft curves that you put in the flower bed. It adds so much to your property. And like you I can't wait to see all of the beautiful colors and different flowers is going to be awesome... Hugs
The dichotomy is just incredible. I couldn't even dream of using a lawn mower for the next two months. Currently we're getting over a foot of sloppy snow here in upstate NY lol
You m loving your flower garden, we as still shoveling in southeast Idaho. I can’t wait until your garden is fully in bloom it’s going to be gorgeous. The mulch does look so beautiful. I love how it made such a difference.
I am laughing and laughing because I see the cat tracks all over the top of your tractor. Typical cats checking everything out. Love it and your flower bed looks very nice.
Congrats on your new flower garden Angela. I used cardboard when I started a new flower garden. It was breaking down to notebook paper sized pieces by 3 or 4 yrs. I hated it at first 'cause it was in the way when I wanted to plant more flowers. My cardboard pieces were huge because I got them from an appliance store. That was dumb, but I had a lot of square feet to cover. On one island bed I used newspaper. I put down 4 sheets at a time. Back then everyone we knew got the Sunday paper. They were happy to save them for me. I don't think there are any papers printed around here anymore. I finally figured out to use the hole saw for doorknob installation to saw holes in my cardboard for new plants.
@Harry Dimitrescu there was a post from creepy scammers. It said YOU'VE WON A PRIZE, TEXT THIS NUMBER. It was reported. Might have been removed. Every time I would comment, they would remove the comment. IT IS NOT SAM AND ANGELA! It isn't this page.
Every home needs a woman's touch inside and out. Angela The layout looks great. Seeing how much mulch there is , I'm assuming you have some more plans. Nice that Sam was hanging around to help out where he could.😀 (Kidding)😀 I always enjoy seeing the children helping out .( And enjoying it😊) Isaac was really trying to keep up with Elijah Both boys are really growing up. As always wishing everyone the best of success, good health, and safety
Lovely Angela. Love the garden, nice that you had plants already in the ground to work around. ❤❤❤ Really like the plant markers Sam made you. Crocuses don't take up much room, me thinks you have room, and I love them and daffodils in Spring.
If you want something else that smells absolutely wonderful get some tea olive bushes and gardenias. We planted them by windows so when we opened the windows the natural fragrance filled the whole house when the wind blew. I love daffodils and hydrangeas.
It’s looking really good so far, just curious if your going to do the eves will it be a pain in the butt to get around, hopefully not ruin any of Angela’s flowers 😉❤️🇨🇦👍🏼
Thanks for the video. Perfect time for planting your flower garden. I love and have the same flowers in my yard. I have few that you might consider bleeding heart, Hosta, crocus, and daffodils. The kids and the tractor helped make short work of the project. The plant identifiers where a nice touch Sam. Enjoy the spring!
nothing nicer than having flower/shrub beds. i love it when things start to pop up . like your son just starting to be big enough to garden and help out. my grandson is too , makes you feel all fuzzy inside lol. and what a brilliant idea Sam for the plant tabs idea they look fabulous. hope you are all well, hugs x
THANK YOU for the REAL soundtrack and no music!!!
Sam, that was very sweet to make something special for Angela. Thank you for having a great Mother's Day idea early enough for place your order now....:)
These guys are at 97k. Let’s get them to 100k- they work so hard and are so deserving. Hit the button folks.
So nice to see a garden of flowers being planted. It makes your home sight look permanent.
That really looks nice! I can't wait to see them in all their glory! 🌷🌸🌹🌺🌼🌻
Sam hang the key to the new tractor on the dipstick. That way while you are retrieving the key you can remember to check the oil every time before you operate it. Just a quick tip to keep an eye on the life blood of the engine... PS. Love your youtube channel...
Liked ur tip regards to dip stick.
Never thought of doing that, but it is a good idea!
Genius Tom!!!
Great idea!
Can't wait to see all the beautiful flowers when they bloom..love the ID stickers. Huggs

Great job! The boys are growing up so fast. It's so nice to see the smiles on your faces.
The boys were so careful of Mom’s plants great job🎉
Very very nice beautiful
These things make a house a home and like I always tell my husband "looks like these people love one another". Oh man, don't forget, you got to use that wonderful tractor!!!!
Lol! That's how you can tell when you get older! You start working smarter, not harder!! Have a blessed day!🌺
I was thinking the same thing...your boys are growing up so fast!
Wow, it's "Up Town" now. It really looks nice . Those boys are so strong! See ya all next time.
I wish I could say my favorite part of the video was all your hard work. But, those muddy kitty cat prints on the tractor we're pretty sweet.😊❤️😸
Quick tip for everyone if you have a pickup or a trailer go to a landscaping yard dirt and mulch is real cheap. I think it was $30 (Canadian) for a bucket load and that filled my truck bed
The Massey is a good tractor.
The bed of flowers will be beautiful!! I love seeing the boys being helpful....So sweet...You are wonderful parents! Keep up the great work!
Your landscaping is so pretty. That will bring a smile to your face every day when you look at your new flower garden.

Hi Sam Angela & boys, good for you Angela.Peonies are so fragrant. Can’t wait to see your flower garden grow! The boys just make me smile!🌷💕🌷
Nothing better than a spring bouquet of cut lilacs with snowball viburnum
I love seeing the videos when the children are involved with learning and helping.
Aww; Angela; it looks wonderful. Thank you Sam for being such a sweetheart. I love watching children chip in and help. So cute. See you guys next time. Can't wait to check out those plant steaks.
I see Sam is giving his new Red Baby and the boys a workout. The mulch area looks great.
Here in north Texas we have some plant sprouting. It’s so exciting to see the peonies and hostas and geraniums and everything else pretty showing off their new shoots. What can I say I’m a garden geek and proud of it. God has made these things to enjoy.

I didn't know what 'weed whip' was, I had to look it up in Google. Around here (Chicago area) we call it 'weed trimmer'.
Charlene and Debbie-I’m from Northern Michigan and a “weed whip” may be an abbreviation of a Weed Trimmer with the plastic string that chops you grass and weeds down. Thought that expression was used everywhere, just learned something new today both of us!!

Boy Angela, Sam's a nice guy in all....but I do love to see you in the videos. Your creative and love the challenges...you go girl!
It will look so nice whenever the plants start blooming and what a nice touch with the engraved plant markers.
Looks great! 💜 Throw your grass away from the mulch when mowing, though...hard lesson learned here!! Your boys are so sweet.🥰
Take a rake and move the mulch around to make it look good again
@@kevinlondon8340 I was talking more about dirt and grass and weed seeds getting in the mulch, growing in the mulch.
Me too if you rake the mulch it will not allow the weeds to root

I think you are up to reason #12 for getting the Massey
12) Provides a place to sit while the boys load up the front loader.

Blessings........have a great rest of your week.
I love the soft curves that you put in the flower bed. It adds so much to your property. And like you I can't wait to see all of the beautiful colors and different flowers is going to be awesome... Hugs
Wonderful idea Sam!!! Your landscaping will look very pretty Angela. 💖🎶
The dichotomy is just incredible. I couldn't even dream of using a lawn mower for the next two months. Currently we're getting over a foot of sloppy snow here in upstate NY lol
You guys are awesome there is not a lazy bone in either one of your bodies 👍
It's going to look so festive when it all grows out I can't wait🌸🌷💐🌺
Mulch adds a whole other element to beautifying a flower bed. Look forward to seeing everything in bloom. Good job helping boys!
I would line the driveway with cherry blossom 🌸, pear tres, and plumb trees. It’s beautiful in the spring, and fall
Nice and really nice to see you making use of the tractor. Once you have something like this you will find a lot of time and back saving uses for it!
If you like lavender it has the prettiest blue-purple flowers and they smell wonderful all summer!
Sam and Angela on the way to 100k subscribers! 👏👏👏👏👏
You guys work so well together, even the kids!!
You m loving your flower garden, we as still shoveling in southeast Idaho. I can’t wait until your garden is fully in bloom it’s going to be gorgeous. The mulch does look so beautiful. I love how it made such a difference.
AWESOME GUYS LOOKS REALLY GOOD KNOXVILLE TN
I am laughing and laughing because I see the cat tracks all over the top of your tractor. Typical cats checking everything out. Love it and your flower bed looks very nice.
❤😊❤😊❤. Sooo happy for you, Angela!!!!
It will be so nice to see the results of your hard working family.
Let the tractor warm up before ya take off and high idle. Y’all are awesome
I can't wait to see your flower garden in bloom, Angela!
Keep reporting these scammers. They are vile human beings.
Very very nice it pops! Great job, the boys are so eager to help❤️‼️
Please do not fall for the Scammers

@Harry Dimitrescu there was a post from creepy scammers. It said YOU'VE WON A PRIZE, TEXT THIS NUMBER.
It was reported. Might have been removed. Every time I would comment, they would remove the comment.
IT IS NOT SAM AND ANGELA! It isn't this page.
@Harry Dimitrescu enjoy your day!
Every home needs a woman's touch inside and out.

The layout looks great.
Seeing how much mulch there is , I'm assuming you have some more plans.
Nice that Sam was hanging around to help out where he could.😀
(Kidding)😀
I always enjoy seeing the children helping out .( And enjoying it😊)
Isaac was really trying to keep up with Elijah
Both boys are really growing up.

Her soaps are loved by my Wife and Daughter also my Grand Daughter,s!!!!😇
Lovely Angela. Love the garden, nice that you had plants already in the ground to work around. ❤❤❤ Really like the plant markers Sam made you. Crocuses don't take up much room, me thinks you have room, and I love them and daffodils in Spring.
Love your new flower bed. Wow oh wow are those tulips beautiful. Congratulations to you and your boys. They are such great helpers.
"It's Just beautiful Clark".
So happy for you, Angela!
It does look nice putting down new mulch. I like the slate markers. 😆 it is nice as the boys get older to help.
It sure is nice! "Hey boys go get..." :)
