    Always so on top of it when there’s actually something to report, and there’s really never any fluff videos.

    Thanks for your consistent effort with your vids, especially during times when it's not fun to watch the sharks.

    It’s nice to finally be excited about things relating to the sharks. Definitely looking forward to what this prospect pool looks like after the draft. In 2 to 3 years, we could be looking at a pretty stacked roster of upcoming rookies.

    Hey Professor,
    Awesome. And so begins the slow trickle of prospects to fill our AHL cupboard up! I hope over the next three years to see the Cuda's roster fair to brimming with our prospects from trades and drafts. Thanks for the update. I hope Cagnoni proves all the experts wrong!

    Excited to see him with the Cuda. While he is small he plays with a chip on his shoulder, and was getting good PK time with Portland this last season. It will definitely be an adjustment period though. He models his game after Quinn Hughes so if he's able to capture that similar defensive style he has the potential to be a stud in the NHL

      @@professorhockey of course man,do you think the sharks will make playoffs this year?

    • @professorhockey
      @professorhockey  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Technically it depends on moves made this offseason, but the odds are very low I’d say.

    Check out Olen Zellweger. He's also 5'9 and 174 lbs. And is a Offensive Dman drafted by the ducks. He tore up the AHL and did decently well in the NHL.

    • @professorhockey
      @professorhockey  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, there were 4 dmen who played 15+ games last year at 5’9 and he was one of them. It’s still a bit too early to tell though how well it will work out for him. Lane Hutson is another guy of that size who made his debut last year with the Canadiens.

    Hopefully he’s not the defenseman version of Kevin Labanc. Great video.

    Kimmo Timonen was 5'10". Defensively good enough and nice offensive talent. Ofcourse you still need really good hockey IQ to manage in NHL being smallish.
    Sharks D prospects at the moment overall isn´t as exciting as forwards. Hope that Cagnoni has it him to make it to the big show eventually. Sharks need it.

    Dan Boyle was 5’ 11”
    2 inches is not small, but …. I can dream

    It doesn't hamper your point AT ALL, but i think recently he was marked as 5'10.

    • @professorhockey
      @professorhockey  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just saw his post signing interview where he called himself 5’10, while elite prospects still has him at 5’9. Perhaps he grew over the year.
