    I would really like to see the diagram of how yours is all wired up….. i wired mine up just how your picture shows but my bottom master switch light stays on all the time. Im so confused im very dumb when it comes to all this wiring

    Can you make up that wiring diagram and show us that? Im currently trying to do the same type of setup with my teryx

    Clean job man! I want to power my remaining switches from one switch , same as you did. Can you provide how you wired that setup from main to rest of switches?

    Great video. I’m doing this now in my sxs. When hooking up accessories it’s obvious how to hook power and ground to fuse block, but what about hooking ignition up to the accessory switches? Do I need to tie each accessory switch into the hot wire off the cig lighter?

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No your tie the cig outlet to the relay. When the relay is powered it powers the fuse block resulting in you accessories having power.

    I know most switches can only handle 12-24 volts at 20 amps, so do you think it's a good idea to use a flyback diode to prevent "back EMF" from possibly damaging your master switch?
    I plan on using the 1N4007 Rectifier Diode myself.

      @GrayHairedDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a bad idea at all. Would help protect it.

    Do you have a video to show you wiring in an accessory to that Fuze block and getting back lights to come on on switches

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  ปีที่แล้ว

      No but I can make one. I just picked up a second Teryx awhile back and have to do a full install of everything on it so I can do a video step by step. I just ordered all the Rock Lights, Whip It's, Lights Bar, and Sound System, as well as back up lights, and winch. I'll keep you posted when the video is up.

    Yup if you could make a video showing the connections from accessory to switch to fuse box. That would be helpful thank you

    If I'm running it from my cig what 100 amp fuse is needed. Is that just a red wire from the relay to the battery with a 100 amp fuse in the middle?

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just a 100 Amp fuse between the battery and relay.

    Can I add my turn signal relay after the fuse block and use a positive and ground from the fuse block to power said relay. I know I'll then have another ground coming from the switch

    What size wire did you run from battery to fuse block?

    Great video I'm glad I found it, i was wanting to add two lights on the back of my rhino how do I wire both of them up to work on one rocker switch

    • @michaelpemantel1970
      @michaelpemantel1970 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You wire the lights together,positive to positive,negative to negative,then run those to your switch,then run your wires to your fusebox,with the appropriate fuse rated for your lights.

    I have watched your tutorial over and over you have made it so simple but my question is I was wanting my stereo rocker switch to have power when sxs is turned off but not the other switches How could I do that

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Short answer is, run a fused protected power wire from the battery to your stereo rocker switch.
      Long answer, Would have to make a video.

      Thanks so much I had a 2017 T4 and I was wanting to put rocker switches in it but really never knew how ended up selling it I wish I had kept it those are good machines, I have a rhino now and that's what I'm putting my rocker switches in, and another question do you run a ground from you switches to what ever your hooking up to lights or what ever it may be

      120Amp. They make a 200Amp for little more $. I got it off Amazon.

      one last question,is 10g wire is ok to use on the battery to fuse block . and one lasting is If I can use lower relay ? would it be ok to use 80amp relay? I'm familiar with all the wiring it's just the power calculations that I'm not. So what I'm trying to add on mine is 2 sets of fog lights has their own switch separately and a stereo system plus phone charger

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on the stero size but I would try run 8 gauge or lower but you can probably get away with 10 gauge. Lights are probably led and will use low power.

      @@GrayHairedDad Hello Brandon sorry for asking to much questions,its just i don't know how to do the math which relay and the inline fuse? how would I know what amps of the relay and the inline fuse? I've seen a lot of videos using only 40mps both on this 100amp fuse box and i think that was wrong! and I've seen other videos using relays of each accessory maybe this is good but only if you have room but i like how you did yours because i have no room to put each accessory? it's just i don't know what amps

    Nice explanation on the video. Quick question would each run off of the fuse block need to have a relay too?

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on your switch and how many amps it can handle. Most rocker switches are rated up to 20amps at 12v.

      @@GrayHairedDad For your example, as long the accessories don’t pass up that 120 amp relay it should be fine right? So for an example if I was to set up 5 light bars and they each run 20 amps I would have 100 amps out of that fuse box. But that 120 amp relay is doing the work for those 5 light bars not the 20 amp rocker switches. Right?

    what "100 AMP Fuse" did you use?

    • @GrayHairedDad
      @GrayHairedDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So I left the fuse out but the manual calls for it. So to be on safe side you should run a 100Amp fuse.
