I just bought my X Rider Mars. I did restore a Kyosho MK1 but I am still struggling. Thanks for mentioning brakes, maybe that is what I am missing. I just uploaded a video if you could give me pointers that would be great as well.
Hey I checked our your video of the X-Rider. So cool!!!!! You are on rough concrete it seems which is tough on these little bikes. Did you get the ZH tire inserts for the MK1? The inserts make the bike turn SO MUCH BETTER. Critical upgrade IMO. I do find that you have to apply brakes to get the bike to turn well on short courses. Timing is everything.... The GP-8 turns better than them all though. You should get one of those
I see. It is actually hard to get a hold of any rc motorcycle where I am from except for the infamous promoto mx. My mk1 is all stock and I can't even unassemble the forks and wheels. Screws are stuck and I am afraid I might break them. I think I am it's 3rd or 4th owner. Haha.
@@motionsick4973So for 2 days I've been practicing in a basketball court with a pavement. Not sure if it is the Xrider mars tires but the bike just slides at full lean.
This is really good bro. Been watching this over and over. I hope you'll make a tutorial on how you do this on such tight spot.. I just put a kyosho mk1 rider on my xrider mars.
Thanks man! I'll do a video on setup and driving technique for this one on tight courses. I had a little injury that's preventing me from moving around. Hopefully back to walking in a few weeks.
