    Great video, Thanks. I have been thinking about getting this kit but need to do some research on everything I need. Currently have no RC stuff.

      You really only need the Kyosho kit, lipo battery, ESC, radio and receiver. I will say this isn't a beginner's kit if you are new to R/C. You will have to assemble, solder, and program the ESC and radio. Plenty of good videos on TH-cam to help you but it will take some effort! Getting a car first may be a good idea and then start building the motorcycle!

    Did you remove the small molded bump stops on the swing arm? I see yours has longer rear suspension stroke than mine.
    I wonder if those were there to protect the chain (over-tensioning), or because Kyosho doesn't want you to run this on anything but billiard pool smooth tracks?

      I did remove those bump stops. I believe they are ther to stop the rear wheel from touching the rear sub frame at maximum compression and draggging the tire. But maybe for the chain too? Good eyes! I forgot to mention that

      @@motionsick4973 heh, I'm all about the suspension stroke. My favorite RCs are rally cars... But I also love to throw in some variety... and I love to ride, too! 😃

      @@YoShImUrA53 Sweet! You will definitely appreciate softer suspension on this bike! Super fun and they respond a lot like the real bikes too, super fun!!!

    I'm surprised you don't have videos on the Promoto MX, I feel it's one of the coolest RC things to come about in some time - though I know very little about RC bikes at all lol.

      Those are sweet bikes and I'm tempted. They have an internal gyro mechanism which is awesome. The kyosho bikes offer a lot different riding experience. I would argue more skill is required to pilot the Kyosho bikes. I also much prefer road bikes. I will likely buy a Promoto...resistance is futile! LOL

      @@motionsick4973 Right, that's what I was thinking about it requiring more skill. You use the guy's movements to shift weight and steer correct? The promotos just have so many upgrades available it's insane, a guy could put himself in a financial pinch in no time with one of those things lol. Not sure if you have ever seen Kevin Talbot vids, but he turned one into a 6S speed demon - with extended swingarm etc. He hit 70mph and is going for 100! He had to stuff the big lipo wedged between the guy and the tank, with it sticking way up out of the top!

      @@two3fpv Yes, it's the rider leaning and the front swing arm that steer the bike. They aren't hard to drive but they are harder to drive than the Promoto which I've taken for a spin. It does seem like the Promoto is a "thrash and rip" unit. I like a little more finesse in my RC! LOL

    Hi, i am rebuilding my bike also... run in too many problems... do you need to trim steering servo slightly to make the bike run in straight line?

    • @motionsick4973
      @motionsick4973  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      some trim is normal but it shouldn't be more than about 15%

    I finally was able to order the High Grip tires by Kyosho for my MK1. Any mods you made on the MK1?

      Sweet dude! I added the front and rear ZH inserts with the kyosho soft tires. I added softer front and rear springs I found from a random bag and of course…the head turn which you did too! I’m going to do a video. I have an original box and add to show off 💪

    Is anything needed with the kit, what i mean is does the kit come with everything i need to use it or do i need to get a controller, servo etc to get it to run and the kit is just the bike and rider no electronics?

    • @motionsick4973
      @motionsick4973  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you buy stock kit, the minimum additional stuff you will need is a brushed ESC (with a BEC), battery, receiver, and transmitter. I like the FlySky Noble 4 Transmitter, 900mah 2s lipo battery, and a 20amp ESC. I have some other vids on this bike that may help. Get the bike!
