Good video! totally agree with your list, although I have never ridden all these dirt bikes, just from experience by seeing others not having the right dirt bike for the right discipline or simply due to lack of skills
Thanks for watching! Honestly all I do is go riding with people from Facebook pages in my area and we trade bikes! It also helps that I have a friend who has been buying 2 bikes a year lol
Debating over KTM XC 300 and XC-W. Don’t want something too wild on power but love the headlight and controllable power on the W. Also what are your thoughts on the CRF 250RX?
The RX is a cross-country race, bike, pure and simple. I guess it can work on single track with some gearing changes and the judicious use of the throttle, but she's a runner at heart
Sounds like the xcw might be great for you? Do you ride desert much? If you go faster get the xc if you do more tight slow stuff the w is great! As for the crf 250rx I'd get the Yz250fx instead! It has better suspension!
@@utmx I had the 450RX and it ripped in the desert but for tight single track it was wayyy too much. I love all brands and can build the suspension how I like it but wanted to see if a 250 would be better. Been wanting to try out a KTM but didn’t want to be in the same situation I was with my 450 with the XC. That’s why I would rather go with the XC-W . I agree the Yamahas make amazing moto’s.
Definitely heavy bikes, but very solid. I ran mine for two years basically with little to no problems. Can keep up with the nicer bikes just had all that extra weight on it. I found it wasn't to bad at a slow speed either
I've only ridden the 200rr and it was amazing! I love beta they make great machines! I'd love to try the 300 soon! My neightbor has the 2023 250 race edition so I'll be riding that soon!
@@utmx anyone of those would be just fine. I’ve ridden just about everything and I’m so impressed with beta. Best customer support as well. Hope you get a chance to run the 300. 👍
Yamaha makes amazing bikes! However I had well over 100 hrs on my ktm and only had 1small issue. But I will say ktm does stupid stuff... the fact that most their bikes wouldn't idle without an idle mod is ridiculous! My beta 200 rr had a few weird things bit overall great bike! Can't go wrong with blue!!
I SOLD MY 15 KTM 200 FOR A BETA 200. Pretty much twins in every way just one has oil injection. Rode both back to back , should of saved my money and just freshened up the ktm there that close
@@paulpotempa8829 Oh really?!?! that very interesting. I have a 2012 I bought used and freshened it up with all new plastics and a good scrubbing. I Love this bike so much. Perfect amount of power, especially once you get the power valve set right.
I should of never sold it but a friend wanted to get into dirt bikes and had a tight budget. We have the bikes together all the time the Beta is nearly a continuation of the ktm 200.
250 tpi (with mods of course) for me, it's just pure fun and that's what matters! nice video man, your channel has been fun, keep it up brother!
Man I rode tons of bikes but never a 250 xc! I'd love to try the 250 out! I've ridden plenty of 250s but not ktm! I appreciate ya thanks!

Thanks for watching! I had lots of bikes I really enjoyed but overall the ktm 300xc and the husqy fx350 were just on another level!
Thanks for the video! I just wish I could ride as many bikes as you! lol You’re lowkey living the dream!

Yes it is! I liked the Yz250fx better than the honda mostly because suspension and I'm a yamaha fan!

@pennedaizee I loved my xc! I could go as slow as I wanted but then when it opened up I could fly!! It did great in super tight stuff!
Maybe give Fisch moto E start a try for the YZ? Just came out
I've been hearing about this! I'll take a look!
KDX220R is perfect for me on trails and I got mine for under 3k
Killer deal! Only kdx I've ridden is a 1986 kdx 80!
@@utmx they are all over, come out and try mine if you want. It’s an 03 so the most updated generation with the perimeter frame.

Klx300r if you don’t wanna dump a lot of $$$$$
Dang I rode 28 bikes but that's not one I rode! I'd love to find someone with that bike to try it out!
Its too heavy up top and a lot of work to ride slow. Really sucks to pick up also.

@user-ne3yw7er4n I bet! Those bikes are so heavy and a little oddly shaped!

@jasonyates8796 they have a great Warranty as well! Can't wait to try more betas!
Yamaha, yup, totally agree. I stay away from KTM and Husky because I honestly think they’re overrated and overpriced. I’d go Beta after Yami all day.
