- In this video I have an overview and install of the @Bose Smart Soundbar 900, Bose Surround Speaker 700, and the Bose Bass Module 700. The sound quality is great and it was really easy to set up. Had I not decided to run wires behind the wall it would have beet set up and running in less than 15 minutes. You really only need the 900 soundbar and 700 bass module. I have all of them, I would only buy the soundbar and bass module. Both are pretty awesome. The whole system is great don’t get me wrong and the 700 surround sound speakers look cool especially with the jewel stand, so if you want to impress someone they do look really cool.
How are feeling about the performance of the 700 surround speakers? Are the loud enough and provide the effects? The reviews I have read seem to be mixed. This package or the Sonos are my top 2 for my home upgrade.
I have 0 complaints. The reason I went with Bose is I wanted to run speaker wire behind the wall not power. From my understanding Sonos still needs power for rear speakers so it's hard to completely hide the wire. If you do buy please consider using the links in my description to support my channel.
@@pnprojectchannel Good to know. Honestly, one of the main reasons I am thinking Bose over Sonos is that I can wire the sub to the bar and reduce any signal drops.
@@jntaylor63 My Sub is 20 feet from the 900 and I never get dropouts.
Also, by mounting against the wall, aren’t you blocking the sound from one of the speaker closed off by the wall?
I would say Bose makes the wall mounts so they should account for that. Also they system sounds great so if there is some loss of performance I'm not to worried about it.
thanks for the awesome video. Can Sound bar hook up with Surround Speakers with out the Bass module?
So sorround speakers need power from the wall wires? Cannot hook it from outside supply adapters
There is a wireless receiver that needs power. Then there is a wire from wireless receiver to speakers.
So I have same set up coming but with two 700 Surrounds can you tell me what I can expect as far as experience
and how much do the 700 surrounds add or enhance the system?
Surround speakers give good background sounds from behind.
The best!! 😊😊😊😊😊
For Sure.
How to setup the connection with Bose 900, firestick 4k max to get atmos sound on TV with only ARC port
HDfury Arcana Box
I had a hell of whole lot of problems with my system. The tiny pins that are in the connector piece fall out, I had to get tweezers to put them back in, it happened on both speaker sytems. The one with the OmniJewel and the regular Bose speaker setup. Just FYI, my life has been living hell dealing with this. I cut the power to my entire house and tried to connect these over and over. I have videos of ever single step I took, with the app, me plugging it in bra blab l.
Sounds like a nightmare.
Did the bracket come with the speakers?
I purchased separately. Here is a link to Amazon amzn.to/3SC9eBz for the Bose brand. Here is an aftermarket brand amzn.to/3V4ySAQ.
@@pnprojectchannel are the cables included approved to go through the walls? Usually power cords are not rated for in wall and are a fire hazard.
My only problem is...
I would like to put them on a wall, but not have any wire hanging down or visible. Besides, there is another sq box that may be a power converter that I don know how am I going to hide!.
I m really considering cutting a hole in the wall behind each speaker just to hide teh power box/cables...and somehow pay a electrician to run or install for me 2 eletricts boxes inside those squares or holes that I would have to create in my wall.
Ideas ssss please
These speakers don't have power per say. I just have the receiver located by my TV the ran speaker called so there is just a small hole by speakers.
I have this problem too. I intend to hide the wire receiver behind the wall. I checked forum and was told that signal
willl somehowncut off .
Hello I have a 900 soundbar but in best buy website these are compatible with 500 and 700 only?
Sorry , not 100% certain.
Considering I use my older cubed speakers with my 900 I’d say these newer ones will work just fine with 900
I am using SB 900 with BM 500 and SS 500. They all worked fine. Just upgraded to SS 700 now and it is even better. Next project is the BM 700
Can you plug-in 4 700 speakers instead of 2?
Unfortunately, you can't. I tried it on mine.
Maybe if you wanted to splice wires but probably not enough power to drive 4 effectively.
How did you run the wires in the wall?
Just ran above my drop ceiling.
May I ask where you place the wireless receiver ?
How many tweeters are on the surround speakers?
I actually don’t know. They are pretty small though.
How do u increase volume on surround speakers, it’s literally dead silent for me
I never messed with it but in the Bose app there is a spot to adjust sound
I had to perform the room calibration and then it worked better
Wires can go loose sometimes just tap or wiggle speaker
I'm a little bit too late, but try this. Cover the surround speakers with a microfiber cloth, set your settings in the app to zero (highs, lows, bass, etc.) Then do adaptix with the cloths still on the speakers, then after that put back your settings and you should be good to go.
Please watsup
Shit Bose
