      @@tako1289getting just the soundbar without the sub is a shame. The difference with the sub 700 is night and day, it doesnt compare. You should defenitly get the sub. As for the surround speakers, if you put a sock on top of the surround speaker when you run the adaptic test, then put them on full blast (100) they are really good. If you dont do it then they will sound to soft.
      Imo you dont really need the surround speaker but its a great addition, but you absolutely need to get the sub if you want to enjoy bose sound

    I'm looking at getting these shortly and one thing I'd maybe suggest to increase the volume of the rear speakers is to reduce the output to the rest of the speakers individually. This would make them by difference louder, you'd then just turn up your master and perhaps the rear speakers would then be at a reasonable volume whilst not affecting the calibration of your speakers. - Maybe?

The sounds are all over your head, floor and R/L of the room. It is in vertical position instead of horizontal. I don't wanna spend another $600.00 for the surround speaker. I've bought a second hand bose 300 surround adaptor receiver for 45buck each and two cinemate surrond speaker for $25buck. It has a better sound quality than to what they offer. I knew that as I heard the sound on their sample unit on the store. Maybe an old double cube will work pretty good too! Maybe later I will upload my video. That's where people make their mistake about the omnijewels. They are tiny but they are a sonic marvel. I upgraded from the invisibles to the omnis at the same time I bought the 900. The omnis need a few days to open up and when they do its on. They sound so excellent and refined. I have them set at 80 because that is loud enough for me. I watched Mortal Kombat which is atmos on HBO Max and the omnis were totally outrageously insane. They had went to the next level in sound. I could only stare in disbelief at the the off the chain sound they were producing. It's like atmos had put them on steroids. Make no mistake about it, the omnijewels are sublime and worth every penny.

      bro i just unpacked the bose 700 surround.
      i also got a 300 soundbar, here is the thing. i havent tried to connect yet but the reason i bought it was because of bose themself said to me over the phone that they where compatible with the soundbar 300

    I’d actually buy these if they added the power brick inside the speaker.. too many connections etc. should just be one cable going into a power socket

      The problem doing it the way you like would be that the size of them would increase drastically. Those surround speakers are extremely small.

    • @prime8krish
      @prime8krish 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@williamcopeland2617 They could do it if they don't cheap out, and use GaN like Apple does. You can get power brick tiny but it costs money. In this age of GaN if premium price is charged, the products need to be premium. Sadly they dont.

    Only Bose can sell a surround sound system a la carte totaling over $3k when it’s all said and done. Bose is good but no that good.

    Bought the Sound-bar, Base and Surround 700 speakers. The soundbar and base are fine but the Surround 700 speakers completely suck!!! The surrounds are extremely difficult to add and even after all of that only one speaker actually attached. Tried a movie and the surround speaker sound was nothing but static and voices that could not be heard. I’m a Bose fan and I found it shocking that they are making and marketing such a cheap sounding speaker, especially for the price they are charging. Honestly I wouldn’t pay even $20.00 for these (that’s how bad they sound).

    I don't understand why Bose didn't make it simple as the other companies. Why the receivers?? Just power the speakers and connect wireless with a soundbar/subwoofer. Complete waste of material and even more equipment to hide. Total nonsense.
