had one in 22 over 3 years, shot 1000s of rats with it. i use rs diablo pellets . pellet on pellet at 30 yrds. i have had guns that cost 3 times as much bsa, weihrauch and they are no better than this. best value gun on the market. upside regulated, silencer, adjustable trigger, large shot count, walnut stock. downside its a bit heavy but i use a tripod. would i recommend this gun defiantly. what more do you want for £400.
Just found your channel fella, great to find new airgun channels, I’ve been a keen air gunner for about 50 years now and always enjoying new honest reviews.
Great review. As airgunners I think we really do have a fantastic choice and range of rifles and prices to suit all these days. These ones are proof you dont need to spend a fortune to have great fun!
@@bobbythompson3544 Thanks for watching! In comparison to others I have for the price if you’re going to be shouldering it I think the NP02 is a better choice for out and about. However…. Big but… if you’re a bench shooter… I’m going to eat my words here. I think I’d pick this. 🤫😮. I hope you’re on the mend ❤️🩹 thank you so much for spending time watching. Cheers!
I'm a springer person myself but thinking of a PCP for a sub 12 addition and this seems good. They say it's heavy but I'm used to a HW80 with quite a big scope.
I bought one in .22 a couple of months ago . Really like the look of it . Very easy to work on . Think they’ve had a bad reputation when they first came out with filling issues . I’ve had no problems with mine at all . Groupings are perfectly acceptable for a pcp around £400 . I’m really happy with mine
I have the ATA Arms Airborne also and can say it feels like a £1000-2000 rifle all day long. Mine came with 2 magazines. Pin point accuracy and built in a company that manufactures real firearms… A bit of a no brainier for me guys..❤
I looked at one of these yesterday and my goodness it was soooo heavy. No good for carrying around with you if you want to hunt with it but OK for just range work. Swap out that heavy bottle for a carbon one and that would definitely help.
I'm looking at an FX TX12 but seeing what this one can do I'm wondering weather I should save a couple hundred quid instead . Thanks for the video, and thanks for putting me in a quandary on my choice 😂😂😂
This in regulated is amazing. Any pcps from a level are amazing. FX have a huge following. But I love the look and feel of this airborne. 100% a bench rifle…. She’s heavy. lol.
Got the .22 Good gun all in all. But the problem for me was the sound Mordor.,. Got an update to BSA and now it’s good. #greatgun #changethemod #amazingforafirsttimePCP #FX,Weihauch, airarms. But ATA is fun as a budget gun. Have fun keep on plinking 😊
Owned my airborne. 22 for a year now . Its a good quality rifle for the price . On the range it can hold its own against any other .22 . At some point I'll get the trigger fettled. 🙂
very easy to set the adjustable trigger. had mine over three years. brilliant gun. i use a tri pod so weight is not a problem ,try rs diablo pellets mine loves these. and so accurate
It’s definitely a one stage trigger . Only has one adjustment which is forward of the trigger on the sear . No other adjustments. It would benefit by having trigger and sear touch points polished
You won’t go too far wrong. Especially as a first pcp. Mine was the np02. This and the Lyra are very similar. I like that the airborne comes with a silencer. Not sure if the Lyra does.
@@kenjordan7685 I’ve got the qys streamlined. Wasn’t happy with the volume of damaged pellets. What you get for ordering from Amazon I guess. However they’re great!
@@filoIII good question. I thought these were us based but are Turkish so maybe not. I’ve seen a few US based videos though. I’d have to do some research to find out
All those who find this gun marmite. My experience is :- bought my .177 for less than £290. 1st disappointing no air issues but a consistent 6ftlb😡 returned to RFD to be returned to suppliers. Week and a half went by but the never even picked it up. So the place where I bought it gave me a new one which was a little better 9ftlb 8.44 jsbs. Rather than return again I gave it to a gunsmith who charged me £60. Tuned reg cleaned and adjusted this was the result

There you go! I’m going to pin this comment. Tried and tested review! Cheers!
sold!
Out of interest what sort of shot count do you get with your .22?

I bought one of these and i think. its epic.i do prefer springers but very good as my only pcp....enjoyed your review.
I was pleasantly surprised! I need more springers to try. Become a pcp channel lol

I have had one of these in 177. Absolutely amazing gun and now when I look at others they just don't seem to compare. I love it 😊
Nice to see a lefty doing a review. Purchased mine 9 months ago and apart from the weight, I cannot fault it.
@@michaelmiddleton1668 I want to own one in .177 can’t seem to get my hands on one at the moment
Looks decent quality that, interesting 👍

Think I’d like to learn about modifications etc in the future. Think it’ll be a good way to learn more about these rifles for sure.
get a tripod. no problems🙂

shopping for my first pcp and this is in the top 5, with the remimex Lyra

I nearly bought a Walter rm8 but liked the look of the airborne and got that instead. I see you’ve done a review of the rm8 . Which do you prefer?
Oooh. Great question…. Airborne. Why? Because the mechanism is smoother, no auto safety, higher shot count.
I think I made the right choice with the Airborne . Great review by the way . They do have a following . Great air rifle
When firing the rifle on the stand hold rest the but on the non firing hand it should help with stability when doing the long range shooting
Got it! Cheers!
Are these available in the US ? I couldn't find a store that sells them , or maybe they are under a different name .
Ah I actually thought they were American! But they’re Turkish. So I’m not sure. 🤔
ive had mine for over a yr now in .177 and its an awsome rifle for the money .......wether for range or pest control.....mine loves the qys
It’s one of my favourite so far!
Which qys pellets. Allways looking that little edge.

Available in the U.S.?

The weight is the only thing that lets it down imo, way too heavy/long to lug around a field/woods, deffo a bench rifle😅
Seems the case. Or tripod in a fixed location. Looks nice though 😉 ha

It speaks volumes that ATA only make one air rifle. They are a shotgun manufacturer.
