I went through the first chapter playing like it was the original Digimon World, I completely ignored ExE and just trained more whenever I hit a wall. Then I ended up trying it for the first time after repeatedly getting absolutely demolished by Vikemon and the difference was hilarious. I love this mechanic.
I had the same first ExE. Vikemon and Chaos Gallantmon at death ExE'd into Omnimon Zwart and managed to win the fight we were supposed to loose right then.

I just started my first playthrough! The ExE I just got was Rosemon(Burst Mode) with MegaKabuterimon(Blue) and GranKuwagamon. But she still got her ass handed to her😂
My first ExE was with an ophanimon and areoveedramon and got imperialdramon FM, however I never got the chance to use it because my game crashed not too long after the transformation
I wish EXE Evolution had actually been a cross between Jogress and Biomerge, rather than just a temporary Jogress. Having a human as part of the equation would make sense as to why EXE is temporary and also stronger than Jogress. Also, who wouldn't want to *be* Omegamon?
@@BiggMatt183 Omni is actually used because he is an all-out fighter, able to be extremely capable and deadly from short and long range at the same time (because of his weapons). Omega is used as a reference of his rivalry against Alphamon.

I'm actually proud of myself beating Mugendramon without ExE evolution
I went so far through the game without doing an EXE evolution because I didnt think what it was. I kept wondering why boss battles were so hard.

Same here. I lost at first, but turns out all you need is at least one mega level digimon and some well timed guard commands.
