Frank and Maury came after Pete and bas, they blew up stateside and it came out that Frank and Maury weren’t really using their own voices, so people are trying to tie them together. Pete and Bas are real and aren’t tied to Frank and Maury, but they for sure have ghost writers. I think these two old guys were sitting there one day and thought “music is terrible these days, I bet we could do what these kids are doing” and they did. And it got popular. So they ran with it, and actually got better and better as it went on and do it better than a lot of people, which is hilarious, and they know it’s hilarious. That’s just my theory.
