I must say, as long as that grass was and Rachel kept going over it I am amazed at how well it looked. That mower did a great job. I just cut grass almost that high yesterday and after going over it several times it still looked like a pile of grass. Good job.
Thank you for the lovely video guys and I’m well impressed with the Yakta awesome job and your right the same as cutting a hayfield you guys picked a good one there thank you
I’m glad Hard Working Man and Rachel were able to whomp and whip that yard into shape. The Yakta mower does an excellent job with no need to go back over the same area and mow again. That chainsaw worked fine cutting those tree limbs to size. You guys take care.
may i suggest a "walkaround" the areas before you cut to remove debris that can cause damages or injuries- wood, rocks, bottles, cans, holes, roots, stumps, etc---- wildlife may be hiding in there too- move them to safety----it will prevent major f-ups and stack that firewood properly---- :))
hi there good work , your hunting spot , have to chuckle a bit , there were 3 good sized bucks bedded down under the apple trees the other day , best to all john
Yeah I put the logs around the edge to process and then the rains came and the yard has been too soft to get to the logs since. We are getting close though!
I love tackling jobs like that one. Lol. Looks like some IBC totes need to be filled up. 😂😂. Excellent work y’all. Keep up the great work. Bruce in Wv!!!
I know it does not make a lot of sense. But you may actually lower your blade, so instead of knocking the grass over it basically cuts it off at the root, so try lowering your blade instead of on the highest setting, lower it down to 1 or 2 inches off of the dirt
i think its a common thing for the tubs on dr to crack. mine started to crack in its second season. I just use a hose on it to suck up leaves since I got baggers on mowers.
This is the second place mine has cracked. It cracked in the back first and now it has cracked where the shocks mount to the front hold down pin so I can’t even lower the tub anymore to make it work. Hopefully I can get a replacement or I’ll see what I can do to fix this.
Rachel I tell you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ you done ✔️ an awesome 😎 job going around about 3 to 4 times . Time to relax and have a good cold 🥶 hurricane 🌀 drink 🥤 with Alan Jackson 5 o’clock somewhere! Lol 😊😊
I like the weed wacker it just a little pricey for me and one other thing how long does the battery lasts and are the battery's included frank from humboldt co. Cal.
The weed whip is definitely nice. It does come with a battery. I’ll see if I can run it out on a time test to see how long it lasts. My son took it to weed whip the little league fields the other day instead of the gas husqvarna he used to use. He came home and said, man that thing is awesome! It just plows through the weeds!
Because of your channel I’ve narrowed down my Z turn to the bad boy rogue because of its suspension system and the fact that it has a rear discharge, which is a big plus or the yakta 610 or 710. I think my choice might come down to money out the door, but which one would you recommend?
Honestly we don’t have a ton of time on either yet. The ride of the Bad Boy is a bit nicer with the suspension. But I feel the Yakta drives a little smoother with fewer control input adjustments. But we haven’t messed with the Bad Boy controls customization options yet either. The warranty on the Yakta is better. Both are built solid! I really can’t say one is better than the other at this point.
Good stuff Heath/Rachel. My first thoughts were how often do you visit the property during the non hunting season? and NOT CRITIZING here but with the various piles of things what is the snake situation like in Michigan this time of year?
We are there quite a bit both in and out of season but just didn’t get to mowing this year since we were mower shopping for the first part of the spring/summer. No snakes today, we don’t see many there. I definitely need to get the mess cleaned up though. It’s definitely gotten out of hand.
I was mowing a patch that looked a lot like that a few years ago. I sucked up an 8 inch round of Mullberry into the bad boy deck and broke a weld. That wasn't fun to fix!!!
I walked it first and did my best to make sure it was clear. All the rain we’ve gotten in the past year plus has left us with a rutted up yard with log piles all along the sides I couldn’t get at for processing but we’re getting close finally!
That boat is a project I bought and another one I haven’t had the time to get to yet. I’d love to redo it and head out after some Salmon but not sure I’ll get to it.
Dick, the Yakta drives smooth too. Not sure on the rated run time. They list it as 45 cuts?? I’ll see if I can run the battery out for a real world test.

The Yakta did a excellent job I must say. What a difference the place looks like in a few hours. Great work.

That Yakta cuts great. But brother you need to sharpen that saw chain. Dull chain is a good way to burn up a ported saw.
