Just watched the video, the narrative is really good, i watched till the end: the town by the road side is called gakungu, makuyu town is way back about 2 km in using the same route

Great video! But you havent reached Makuyu town.Its like 1 km ahead from don bosco. What you refered to as makuyu is Huhi(Former petrol station). Along that road youl find towns like pundamilia, igikiro, and more. The road connects to Kenol muranaga highway

Point of correction,after Don Bosco at 15.33 you made a u turn back to Gakungu town which is next to kenol-Nyeri Highway.
Gakungu is not Makuyu town that you intended to visit...Makuyu an old town as you described is about 2km from Gakungu
Town.
