Hi Ben, love the content you provide for us. I've noticed a mistake in your weight conversion for the legion slim 7 for a while now. 4.52 pounds equates to 2.05 kg not 2.5. That which is a big difference and particularly useful when comparing slim laptop. hope you can fix that in the future. long term supporter of the channel.
Heads up, the sequel to the slim 7 pro x has already been released with the slim pro 7, with ryzen 7000 and rtx 3050s and 4050s. (It has the 3050 6gb) The chassis looks to be the same though, and the naming scheme is incredibly confusing.
Finding the perfect laptop that meets both my gaming needs and academic requirements has been quite a challenge. As an avid gamer, I naturally gravitate towards laptops like the Legion series, which offer exceptional performance for gaming purposes. However, my academic endeavors require a touch screen feature, adding another dimension to the decision-making process. On one hand, the Legion laptop provides impressive processing power and graphics capabilities, ensuring a smooth and immersive gaming experience. The price point is enticing as well, making it an appealing option. However, I am torn between this performance-focused device and the versatility a touch screen offers for my school-related tasks. Having a touch screen would enhance my productivity, allowing me to easily navigate through documents, annotate notes, and interact with educational software. It would add a level of interactivity and convenience that could greatly benefit my academic pursuits. On the other hand, sacrificing gaming performance for the touch screen feature is a significant consideration.
I decided to go with the max out legion slim 7 amd adv for programing and on the go gaming. Really satisfied with the machine. However the dimension of the machine is not fit for conventional 15.6 laptop backpack due to it size
i love how transparent ben is in his videos, he mentions the fact that he earns a commission through the links in his desc and stuff unlike other ytubers.
