The SIPs have been pretty popular here in the States, but it's not something you see every day on job sites. Weird, too, since you'd think they'd be a real hit here in the Southeast where the heat will get you quick if you don't have insulation.
We were originally inspired by many of the US shows we watch... SIPs are virtually unheard of here. Only very occasionally do we have to Not explain what they are. To be honest though, if we built in a more moderate climate we probably wouldn't have considered them. So I'm glad for challenges that help us think outside the box.
@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead It was very impressive to see how fast everything went up. With traditional construction, you'd have been there for days doing just one wall, never mind having all the walls up and the roof going on. Can't wait to see what you guys get up to next!
