From all the rain we've had this year, my fruit trees are abundantly full this year.

The paid partnership sounds great. We have a pretty similar range of fruit/nut trees but no idea how to look after them, and the parrots are the only ones enjoying any fruit. Our trees are very big and old, so how to prune to a manageable size is definitely something that would be useful. All the pruning videos on TH-cam deal with new, young or small fruit trees. Love the secret squirrel references 😂

Sounds like you’ll get some value out of it too! We’re hoping to start with a planning video that will map out an entire year of what to do with our trees so hopefully you’ll be able to follow along. We’ll try to keep it timely as well, like posting in the same week we do stuff.

I had never grown garlic until this year. I planted every clove in a single row around my garden bed. After watching your video it would explain why i have had an absolutely shocking season. I pulled them all out this week and some had started to split open and the size ridiculously small. If i give garlic a try again next year i will plant it close together and in one bed on their own. Great work folks!

Hi Corey and Amanda thank you for another informative video, your garlic is looking amazing. I haven't had much success growing garlic, but that was in Tassie, now that we are in Qld I will try again. I noticed that you plant quite close together so I will give that a go. Great find re the eggs. Well done re the fruit trees and we hope that the deal e them comes off, it will benefit us all. Stay safe and happy, Coen and Jay

Thankyou! Now, I know they look close together but the cloves were planted about 15cm apart. We’ve hit a video of Amanda planting the crop back in April. The year prior we planted too close together at only 10cm and we didn’t have as good a harvest.

You'll probably find the witches broom is the start of the bulb going into flower.
Leave it long enough and it will grow at least one crown that will, when properly matured, produce garlic seeds.

@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead well years ago we had a mullberry tree in our backyard along with lady fingers banana trees also chickens and when the mullberries ripened and fell off the tree the chickens had a feed of mullberries and the yolks were purple in color my late father thought the eggs were off but the yolks had mullberries flavor. It happened before I was born like back in the 1960's.

Why not collect all the onion seeds,,, collect them, and go for a walk along your swale just casting them out willy nilly style. If they come of something great, if not it doesn't matter,
