Like you, I also like Owl Forest Embroidery designs and free patterns and am currently working on Treasure Island, 100 Owls, and Emerald City. Summer Quaker will be a lovely birthday piece to stitch. I enjoy stitching Quakers but am not sure if I should start another one as I am working on three others at this time. I always enjoy your videos and like seeing your stitching progress. Now that I live in Florida, I stitch year round as it's hot all the time. When I lived in Tennessee and then in South Carolina, I only stitched when it was cold. I was much younger then and more active!!

I’m definitely a stitcher year round and I agree that when the sun comes up I want to stitch so I usually get almost and hour in before work and then I can’t stitch till quite late in the evenings too. Most of us say we are trying to get our wip count down and you are trying to get your higher. That made me smile!
I sew and stitch year around. When it’s hot I like to stay inside. I don’t do well with the neat. This summer seems to be extra hot. I enjoy watching you I live in Prince George British Columbia, Canada.❤
I stitch year round but I tend to stitch more in the summer simply because I have more time! I’m a teacher and I’m off so I can stitch everyday unlike when school is in. Love your projects. I found owl forest embroidery through your channel, and I love their designs. I've stitched autumn cats and I'm stitching Christmas bears for my friend Xmas present. I've just kitted up 100 owls.

I love the Owl Forest Embroidery patterns! Hoping to start on Alice in Wonderland early next year. Like you, I am a year-round stitcher. Summer gives me all that extra daylight, which makes stitching on smaller counts easier. If it's not too hot, I'll sit outside on my deck, and enjoy the fresh air while I stitch. :) But it's also the perfect cozy winter hobby, too!

Your projects look great. I may have to start kitting projects that I want to do. I also stitch year around. When it is 102 degrees with heat index of 112 degrees it is to hot to be out side. The mornings are around up with heat index of 90. Look forward to next time.

I also wanted to let you know that I've been hunting for Magnifica beads for my Mira for months and recently heard that they were discontinued. Stoney Creek found a perfect substitute and sent them to me. Maybe you could try your luck with them.

Hi Samantha - I stitch all year and stay inside when it is too hot. I will stitch outside when it cools down in the evening in a gazebo because as you know, our provincial air force is so active at this time of year - i.e. mosquitoes!! 🤣😂

I am also doing the Treasure Island SAL! I love their literary inspired SALs and just their style in general. I am actually also kitting up 100 owls for a Sept 1st start and will be hitting up my LNS in a few weeks to try and make my own colour conversion

I can’t wait for the SAL perfect timing too, I just had my baby boy and by august should be getting into swing of things. Loved all your stitching. Definitely stitch all year round. I live in Arizona so we tend to stay inside during the summer months, but even in the winter months I make sure to get cozy and stitch.

Your WIP's are beautiful. I've ordered the Victoria Clayton silks for Summer Quaker. It'll be my first time trying them, but I wanted something special for this stitch because I love the pattern so much. I need to choose fabric, but I'm waiting to get the silks, then I'll go to my LNS. I'm really excited for my August plans, but still loving my Christmas I July too. Definitely an all year stitcher here.

Hi , I’m have been watching your videos and I thought that I had subscribed long before now. However, I made sure to subscribe today. I am working on Rapunzel. I started her last year January. I have the arch, the ledge that she is sitting on, some of her braid, and a good portion of her dress done. I got all of my beads from Garon Tottenbag. I’m pleased to see that you are working on her!
Very fun video! I think the woodland fairy will look gorgeous on the fabric you chose 🧚♀ I, too, am ready to start the Summer Quaker. I'll try stitching on 40ct linen for the first time, I hope I'll manage. I stitch year round. In the summer, I am happy to be out of the humidity, into the a/c and stitching away. I love the patterns you choose. The East Coast Stitcher along with Cobweb Corners is going to have a Mirabilia pixies SAL sometime in September I think. You have inspired me to try one of them. Since they are smaller than the regular Mirabilia, I think it's a great way to get my feet wet. I love seeing all of your finished Mirabilia. They are beautiful. I think I have all the supplies now I just need to decide what 36 ct linen to stitch on,🤗 your stitching is beautiful! Your Mira’s are also fabulous! I started my first Mira but have not made much progress on it The Sapphire September fairy. I’m kind of intimidated . I also have kitted up in my stash Miss Cherry Blossom and the Renaissance mermaid. I just need to start stitching and to stop thinking the Mira’s are different. Thank you for sharing! Your version of Treasure Island is the best I have seen so far. I taught that book in grades 7 and 10 for years. I decorated the room with cross-stitched pirates from Sue Hillis series as well as Yo Ho Ho Ho (cannot remember designer). Robert Louis Stevenson was a terrific author. Just imagine what he could have done if he had not died so young.
Had to comment for the first time when you mentioned the quaker SAL... Im all kitted up and waiting for that to start!
Also ironically, I was at my mums today and we surged our fabric and put the floss on drops to start the 100 owls together!

I would love to do the 100 owls and follow along with a conversion you might make. Have you tried Stitch It Central in London Ontario for the missing beads…they have quite a collection available and might be able to help you. Thank you for another wonderful video. Year round stitcher.
I was at Stitch It Central and they carry the beads you are looking for..the Magni...something? They don't have many in stock but they can and will order the full kits for projects that ask for them. They are a lovely shop to deal with and if you Google them and then call. The owner said they don't have kits on their website yet and I couldn't remember which ones you needed beads for.

I stitch year round, my studio is in the basement and is lovely and cool during these hot days. We don't have AC but down here I am very comfortable. Love your flosstube, I enjoyed watching and listening while I stitch a Christmas present.
I have a question about the floss for treasure island. Is it high quality, easy to work with!? When using it, do you do each stitch complete at a time? It appears very variegated, so I’m wondering how it will turn out. Yours looks beautiful, but I’m concerned mine won’t look the same. Any advice?
