Thanks Ladies …for making me not feel alone in this: having long ago started pieces with no Ambition to work on them (just right now or well …soon) but REALLY still loving them and yet wanting to stitch them still so bad because they are still gorgeous 😇…but there are sooooo many others and only two hands 🙌💞
Several of my coworkers and I went to a glass factory and make Christmas ornaments. It was great to see how different each one was. The shapes and colors were all different. We want to go back again because it was so fun.
Love the thimble purse. Very cute. Great video ladies.
Love you two. So happy to see you back.. keep it up!
Glad to see you back,
Great to see you again. Finish
Also ... Brenda has been doing alot of flower thread stitching. You might check with her . She loves it 😊
I just found your channel and love it! I’m hopeful that I will get the bug to finish up some of my UFOs! Thank you so much!
I love Flosstube but you two ladies are my favourites. I feel as if I’m in a Retreat when I’m watching you. Today’s was extra special as i have the BBD book and also watched Teresa Kogut’s Nashville releases of which two are on pre-order. I wonder which ones you will be stitching?
I just love you ladies! I've been watching since your beginning video and you are so inspiring and fun to watch! P.S. Was flummoxed as to why there was an antler horn on the floor behind you, that is, until the wonderful and beautifully groomed Mr Charlie appeared on the scene! He's flippin' adorable!!! 🥰🥰
Fantastic video!!!!!!!! Thank you both for all you share :)
I love Charlie chewing on the antlers in the background!!! 🤣🤣🤣
LOVE BOTH OF YOU DEB AND LIZ I ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS. CHARLIE IS SO CUTE AND SO LOVEABLE. ❤❤❤
Man! I gotta get that gadget that you showed at the end of the video, Liz!!!! 🙂
Thank you both as always for your video it was so nice to see you both . I know the feeling so well. Having just retired from teaching midwives at a University I was all set to enjoy all the floss tube watching at a leisurely pace. Instead I am undertaking a few courses in different stitching techniques all with homework. I am so enjoying it though. Life and commitments change and we understand that. We will just look forward all the more to your posts when you can. I had to replay part of your video to check I heard you correctly, my goodness. You did say my name. I am so excited I feel as if I have won the lottery. Thank you so very much.
I may have to add Fractur flowers to my stash! It is gorgeous! Thank you for another wonderful video. Looking forward to your Montage update video. I started my own Montage just recently. Of course I have made very little progress. But it is fun to go through my stash and pull possible candidates lol
Love your videos and would love to finish either of those kits! Thanks for sharing pic of Rhett! What a cutie patootie!
Enjoyed watching!
Life happens, be kind to yourself ❤
Thank you. This was fun.
Great video.. just like a visit with friends. Love the stalled stitches.. I certainly have my share. I need to regroup! Glad to see you together.
Hi ladies I have miss see you both . Finished.
Hi Liz, I wish you much good things with your back. I, too had a problem which was limiting, and I send you sympathy. Prays are going to the BID Guy. Virginia Breaton
I enjoy floss tube but you, Liz and Deb, are my favorites. It is like sitting down and having a good chat with your friends. I always enjoy it so much. ❤
Thank you so much!!❤
Liz I always do my hoop that way. Then Im handing the bank of the fabric and keep the front much cleaner. I call it stitching in the ditch 🤭🤣🤗‼️ I do the same thing with scroll rods.
Thank you, Deb and Liz, for all the Stitch videos you record. Sometime during the pandemic, I discovered floss tube and yours was the one that caught my attention. Since then, I watch many others, but I always look forward to yours as it is one of my favorites. I look forward to them and pray they can continue even if we have to wait a month or so. Your videos are inspiring and has made me step out of the box and try different ways to change and create things to make my stitching more personable.
Wonderful video as always...your stitching is inspiring. Love the banter, your friendship shines!
Great to see you back and great video! I love your new segment, too!
Ladies! You are so so precious! I thank you with all my heart on what you share with us! I do have to ask about that BIG ole bone Charlie is chewing on! 😆😆😆😆
I would love one of the finish kits!
The thread catchers were made and given by Karen Railing a member of the Carlisle group of EGA Molly Pitcher Stitchers.
As both of you stitch, I listen and watch while cleaning. You both are great.
Love you ladies❤. Trena here from Florida
Haven’t watched you in a while and realized just how much I missed seeing you two and all that you share. I really have to correct that. Maybe I should cut out eating or sleeping so I can get more done in 24 hours. There has to be an answer so I can stop complaining and get a few more things ready for a finish! Thanks for sharing you stalled projects. I have the same ones but they are on my need to start pile.? 😢
Great job……loved the stall share. I don’t feel so bad now. I was going through a basket and found several stalls. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks for your videos.
It was wonderful to see you both again. I love your projects and ideas. I always learn something new. I love the friendship you have. Your perfect together. You make me smile and feel as if I'm sitting across the table from you. I'm going to order the light. And pick up the new bodken. I cant believe Rhett is going to have a birthday so soon. He is adorable. Love his smile❣
Loved this show as always but was so worried about Charlie chewing on the antlers!!
Omygosh! Deb, I’m your StalledStash Twin on Scenic Farm!! It was the kit that pulled me back into stitching after 30 yrs! A friend wanted to learn to stitch, and after I got her started, I told myself I could go back to quilting. Then I saw this chart & your work on your channel and had to get it. I’m stitching on called-for 18 count kit DMC and the tweeding and backstitch are A LOT. Oy! It’s been in time-out for awhile now. 😂 I know where I’m going to hang it-maybe a post-it note on that wall space will kick start it out of stash status? I really enjoy listening and stitching along with you both. P.S. Just ordered needle cards, Liz.
I'm have 2 of the same stalled pieces that Deb has. German sticking and the farm scene, plus a few more staled pieces.
I was so happy to see you guys had a new video tonight! In fact I chose you two over the new Marvel movie! My husband thinks I’m nuts LOL! Sometimes a stitcher has to do what a stitcher has to do!
I can not thank you Ladies enough for the joy you give me and all your beautiful Cross-Stitch. I can Cross-Stitch while watching you, fun, since l don't have a friend that likes to do it😮. Deb and Liz, you ladies are AWESOMENESS 😅. Carolann in Duluth, Minnesota saying HELLO always a JOY. Charlie is also fun to see.
After a 30 year break in stitching, I was speechless. Boy, that rabbit hole is deep!
Thanks for sharing your stalled stash. I have some myself and it has encouraged me to dig out some of mine that I had loved before and for some reason stopped. I also do not like to finish things as far as fully finishing.. I have all of my finishes in a box and someday I will put them all together in a large quilt with material as the frame for each one. I'm assuming I will be somewhere around 100 years old when that happens😮😊
Thank you
Great video.
Love all of your stitches.
It was fun seeing all of your stalled stitches, I have some of those too!
Marilyn
I thoroughly enjoyed sharing stitching this morning…early, early this morning…you brought me comfort and so much joy while enduring my first bout with Covid… I got re-inspired by you to pick up my pace on my Scenic Farm! And the Hometown series. I finished Quilt Store and finished it on a project bag, but want to do others in a row! It’s soo stunning and I have the perfect shelf for it. So now I can power through my down time…appreciating the fact that I can sit on the couch and stitch to my hearts content! Thanks for being there and being yourselves…a real treasure to me! 💕
I can’t wait to see the finish of your needlepoint piece.
Love all your projects!
I wonder if I can use that light in the car to stitch. But first I need a magnifier…..old eyes.
I'm a frequent viewer and very infrequent commenter but thank you ladies. Thank you for always keeping your channel about cross stitch and friendship. I'll take you whenever I can get you.
What a blessing. I personally love grab bags and surprises.
RE: Flower thread: I've never used it BUT Birgit at The Wishing Thorn carries it (I think) -- she uses it with some of her designs. And Brenda (of Brenda and the Serial Starter) is a BIG fan. You might check those gals out as to where they get it.
Stitch along would be fun! Hmmm 🤔
I would love to have one of those kits! New to cross stitch and would love to learn to finish some smalls!!
Another fun video that I was totally enabled! That book light is perfect as I am going on my first cross stitch retreat in April, yes, I ran to order 😁 I would love to finish one of those cute kits. Thank you for sharing and keep those gadgets coming! 💞
Thank you for your video. Always such a great time! Loved looking at your your stalled, projects, we all have them! Liz I love all your little creative projects! Deb, I really like the border you added to your Fraktur flowers, looking forward to seeing your finish on it. Ladies, we will love to see you whenever you can manage to film, we love you ❤! Take care and happy stitching!
I so enjoy watching you two. I wish I had a friend to stitch with and talk to. You two are amazing and so sweet..
Looking forward to the next floss tube whenever it may be! Blessings!
So Glad I found your channel today and love the interaction between you all. I have returned to cross stitching after about 28 years and am amazed at all the changes--new threads and different ways to finish the projects. You have given me so many ideas for future stitching. Hope to catch you again soon.
I recently did my first flat finish EVER for Christmas. Just found your channel and I love it!
I just love your friendship! You two brighten my day every time I watch you!🥰
You two are so much fun to watch. I feel like I'm sitting with a couple of friends while stitching whenever I watch your videos. Your stitching is always fantastic! Little Rhett is such a cutie. 😊 It was fun to see Charlie having a great time with his antler rack! Thank you for a completely enjoyable 90 minutes!
Thank you for another wonderful floss tube. Your laughter and smiles are so infectious! I am stitching Nora Corbett’s Christmas Couriers this year to make a mantle piece for next Christmas. All the reindeer tails ask for white Wispers. Could you advise on how long you have cut the furry fibers? I am using 12” lengths for the metallic threads and conditioning with beeswax. I think the wispers will need to be bit shorter and would appreciate your experience. Stitching on called for 32 ct Belgian linen.
The Pennsylvania-German Stocking is also in my "Stalled Pile". I love the stocking, and seeing it again has inspired me to return to my project. It is being stitched on 30-count Weeks Kudzo.
Thanks so much !
I have magnets on a telescoping rod and I can find my needles with it.
Your Fraktur Flowers is so gorgeous. I loved seeing all the projects that you've been working on and also so fun to see your 'stalled stash'. You are both amazing stitchers and such a pleasure to watch. Thank you so much for another wonderful video.
What a treat to see the stalled projects since I have a few of my own. Was the Cornwall Cottage done 1 over 2 or 2 over 2? That’s really pretty as are the thimble purses! And the Gritin light just made my wishlist. Thanks for another great Flosstube!
My dog would be jealous of that antler behind you. I enjoyed seeing your stalled stash.
Charlie with the antler made me giggle so much!!! Gotta love our furry babies!!! ❤
I would love to get the nerve up to finish a project
Thanks for the revue of the book light. I just ordered one
Have been with you two for a long time and have seen all your segments! Love you both. You are in my top 3 stich programs♥️
So wonderful to have you back. Missed you both together dearly.
Hi! I just found your channel, i love how you do it, since i never tried a finish ,i'll try my luck! Glad i found you 😊
Thank you for encouraging us to finish our projects-I love to stitch but I’m scared to death to actually try anything to complete my projects. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who has stalled stash. I have so many wips and there are quite a few I haven’t touched in ages. Think I’ll pull some of them out again.
Wonderful to see you both. I hope your back continues to I’mprove Liz. Loved seeing Cornwall Cottage surface Deb. I was enabled when I first saw yours although mine is having a small vacation without me at the moment😆 I had lots of giggles through your video. Happy stitching to both of you 🤗🤗
I always love a trip through what you have in the works.
What is the name of the alphabet blocks/squares that Deb is working on? I couldn't make out the name due to an awful head cold. It's so nice to see an alphabet that's not juvenile, too simple, or tied to a season.
I really liked that stocking. Have to find that chart.
Liz, I've looked at the Mojo Stitches designs several times. You've convinced me to pick one and give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
For your By the Sea series check out Stonewash fabric, by Seraphim Fabrics.
Greetings from So Cal - Temecula area. We have a quilt shop in San Marcos that’s starting to carry cross stitch charts, floss and fabric!!! Grand Country quilts in San Marcos (near San Diego) is going to market to stock up the cross stitch supplies! We are so thrilled to have a location to gather and shop! On the 4th Saturday of each month, they host a cross stitch day!!! Roxanne, the shop owner, is a stitcher and is working hard to bring us WDW, Classic Colorworks, GAST plus linen and more! We’re all giving her our market wish lists for charts and Picture This Plus fabric!!! Please feel free to share on your next flosstube! Thank you so much ❤
Talking about stalled projects well I was making a clock for grandma made an error on the clock then she died so it sat until recently when I used the fabric for another small project and tossed the rest. My Mom thought it was horrible but sometimes you know it is done. I still have the clock base from Sudbery Lane but if I can find a less flowery pattern may attempt a clock again...someday
Ohh hope hubby didn’t have a plan for those antlers!!!😮 yall still talked in presence tense of stalled wips 😊
I am finish my cross stitch with some boards to decorate
You two just made my day. I so enjoyed, thank you. This was a wonderful flosstube. 😊❤
FINISH!! It would be nice to finish a project on my own
Did Autumn Forest Quaker and gave it away. Debating about doing it again for myself. Too many things to stitch out there.
You made my day with your Hare & the Basket Sampler. I have to say it is probably my all time favorite!
So wonderful to see you both together, I understand about not being able to do more videos. Deb your grandson is so adorable with the pink cheeks, so cute. It sounds like you both had a lovely time at retreat. Thank-you for sharing your progress on stitching, love the scissor fob Liz made.
I do miss the Spirit Of Cross Stitch retreats they were amazing. I do like flower threads, so pretty and great coverage. Oh my gosh your stalled WIPS in waiting, such lovely designs.
Hugs to Charlie, his antler toy is amazing, Mikey says hello to Charlie. Good tip on the hope, thank-you. love the Bee design, Liz, many times I couch a fuzzy thread on instead of cross's. Wonderful finishing for all your lovely items. I love seeing the gadgets you both use.
Congratulations to the winners. Lovely video, thank-you.
Liz: I hope you are able to get rid of the pain in your back, praying for you. Finish,
Hi friends, so much fun. As for LNS in So Cal there really are none. Also to travel to the 2 there are North ways would be 4 hr each way with our horrible traffic. Also, I do feel that needle arts are not as popular here, sad. Quilting is pretty wide spread. I have never been to an LNS, as I am financially challenged so can't do retreats. Please someone open a shop for us. Hugs
Hi from L.A. area! Yes, we need a real cross stitch shop!!! On that travel site, in our area there is a yarn store, a fabric store and 4 needlepoint stores. While these stores may have fancy flosses, Michael’s has a better fabric selection, so that’s not saying much. I don’t know enough about fabric to order online. I agree - It doesn’t seem to be a west coast hobby. Maybe someone will hear us? “We are here! We are here!”
Two beautiful ladies!! So nice to meet your mom! All beautiful projects!! ❤🎉❤Thank you!! 😊
Love the honesty, so now I’m not feeling guilty about those projects that have failed to launch properly for years.❤
Hi ladies! Congrats on your pretty finishes! Love the Stalled Stash segment. I was rooting for Quaker Christmas for Liz and Scenic Farm for Deb. Take care of yourself, Liz! Thanks for sharing! I enjoy your videos! Happy Stitching!
Evening Liz and Deb. I have missed seeing your video's it is just like popping over for a stitch along. Beautiful stitching ladies...Beautiful glass work Deb that is something I have not tried. I have started a Sashoki Sampler something new to learn. I am stitching oan Creative Embroidery card that I pierced while watching Nicola Parkman today. while visiting with you.... I am using Anchor Embroidery thread oan the paper. I will cut oot the decoupage and make the insert tomorrow as tonight after dinner I will be stitching oan Jane Fiddes. Together we count.
I was watching your video when all of a sudden I saw something move in the background. I kept watching and watching. Then started to say what is going on. My family looked around like I was nuts then I realized that Charlie was chewing on the antlers. Well I had some explaining to do to the family how thought is was nuts. I had to even show them what I was talking about. We all laughed and laughed. Great view video. lol lol 😂😂😂😂😂
It so wonderful to see you two together. Loved all your stitching. Take care of yourselves.
Always enjoy listening/watching your channel.
What a good idea for a floss tube! We all have our “stalled” projects. And getting them out will help us fall in love with them again. Maybe I should look through my stash every month! Really enjoyed this one!
So happy to see you both again. Love how you both are enjoying each other!
Finish
Thanks for the tip on the needle travel website, because I’m looking for out of print chart.
Thank you! for another wonderful video. I was so happy to see a video from you both. In the early morning while the house is quiet and still, I love to watch the both of you and stitch. 💗💗💗
Thank you so much for bringing so much joy!
Thank you Liz and Deb! Another great video!
It’s always a fun time visiting with you. Always looking for new ideas and gadgets are always fun to look at.
