The guitarplayer is Jason Richardson ;) As I understood, he wrote most of the songs for this new album, trying to stay true to the classic ATR sound while still keeping it fresh
I loved how this album is shaping up to be like a really varied album. We got a nice spectrum of speed and melodies. I am hyped, yeah its kinda dad rock this single, but I like the variety in the singles.
Although I've heard of ATR, I think this is the first time I've actually heard one of their songs. This was a little too mellow for me. Is their normal stuff more upbeat or heavier?
you call it dad rock....i always called it Jarhead metal....or WWE metal... shit like this,Disturbed,Five finger death punch, pop evil, Saliva, although all different in their own way still has that people in the military listen to this shit. or WWE uses this shit as a wrestlers entrance theme.
Loved Divine, the best single by far, but the rest just kinda feel like watered down ATR. Like a bunch of dads got together and tried covering their favourite band from their college days lol

He is a phenomenal guitarist, I knew I recognized him

I totally agree with your assessment
I LOVE the song, as well as the other singles, one of my most anticipated albums this year.
Better keep your eyes open, it's going to be a quiet drop.
See you in Denver

More heavier. Listen to their Album "The Fall of Ideals" especially This Calling, Not Alone. Thank me later.
Yes. We did one a few weeks back that was heavier
@@Terpentin300 Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.
Id throw in Overcome, they got some bangers there as well.

That is also a good name for it. I can totally see these songs as WWE walk in songs
The only one I know was Killswitch Engage, but Saliva did have a show theme

Dad Rock defined
Are you guys gonna be subjective, just started the vid, ripping on fans - not cool
Maybe because I genuinly HATE Linking Park,I automatically reject everything that sounds like LP. This crap is not for me.
Not sure where a Linkin Park reference is coming from, but you are free to your opinion. Have a good one.
@@dethincarnate1149 Listen to any Linking Park album and you wll know.
