I’ve been owning my e90 335i 2008 for a couple years now, fbo stage 2+ etc. and I was going to say first hand that these cars don’t usually have rod knocks. It’s very rare you’d come across one with a bad motor, it’s possible but a 10/100 chance. Everything about the motor is great, it’s the bits and parts around it that make it an “unreliable engine” as some say about the N54.

I wish this could be done to my 2013 subaru sti don't know if it's rod knock or not really haven't been in the position to make it into a stanced subaru but unfortunately due to my financial circumstances I can not fix it .
